The Dog House of L C & L Chicago, Illinois

My dog Paisley loves the dog house! Also the employees are some of the most kind and caring individuals who take the time to know the dogs so well, huge shout out to Lauren and Gabby for being wonderful to both of my pups and being a safe haven for all dogs.

I Love The Dog House, but most importantly, my Travis just about jumps out of his skin when he knows his on his way to play group. They have been booked up lately, which just speaks as to what a great place it is. My dog comes home tired and content. I highly recommend this location for play group or grooming

The Dog House has been doing a great job grooming both of my dogs for many years. 1 of my dogs now has a hard time standing for long due to his old age but The Dog House still continues to do a great job grooming him while accommodating his difficulty in standing. They also offer boarding service, we never tried it but I noticed the dogs that were being boarded there always looked like they were very happy to be there.

Princess dog groomer is the best. Liz is the only person she lets get near her.

Our German Shepherd loves going to The Dog House. He gets to play with other dogs. Lauren and her team takes great care of him. He's always excited to go for daycare or boarding. They offer grooming too.

Although a well run and organized operation, they are swamped. Through no fault of their own, there is a 30 day waiting list for doggy daycare...40+ day waiting for boarding. This is due to lack of quality doggy care nearby, a pandemic that's limited their staffing capacity, and the high demand of quality service...and the only reason why they don't get 5 stars. Frankly, I'd have rated 4.5, but Google doesn't allow it. That said, I definitely recommend them, but plan well ahead, have your vet documentation ready, and be nice to these folks (they're REALLY busy but super nice).

Great care for our dog.

We don't do doggy day care because we have a 3 mo old puppy but we do our grooming there and they are fantastic with him.

The dog house of chicago does an amazing job on my chow chows hair, there's no other grooming i would go to they have a good price and environment.

Grooming service is wonderful! Everyone is super nice and caring towards your dog.

Valerie Krummick is unfit to work at this facility. She attacked me on Facebook saying she was glad that my puppy passed away from being neglected and killed by animals that were supposed to be watched by the facility she claimed to support. ANYONE that is happy about an animals death is not reliable in taking care of other people’s pets. She should be fired for having such a sick and evil mentality.

Great place to send your Dog. They will be excited when they get there and cannot wait to leave. Job well done!
