For years we struggled with our Husky's behavior. We did 12 weeks of training sessions with Jesse and the results we got far exceeded our expectations! We learned so much about what triggered our dog's behavior and Jesse taught us how to manage it! His training method really works and we could not be happier with the results. At first, we were a little concerned about the price but it really turned out to be worth every penny! The whole team at Canine Perspectives was great! From scheduling our first consultation to scheduling our weekly sessions, everyone was so helpful and responsive! Highly recommend them!

I sent my pit bull puppy for board and train and he came back a much better behaved pup. Enrique was very informative in the videos and with the follow up lessons so I could continue his training at home. I’m very happy with the results and even more happy that I am set up for success going forward.

I have a rescue dog who has struggled greatly with leash reactivity and nervousness since adopting her, to the point where walks became a dreaded activity. Not knowing anything about her past, it was difficult trying to figure out how to communicate on her level and improve her quality of life- as well as my own and my partners. I signed up for training sessions with Jesse after working with two other well-known trainers in Chicago with no success. After having a very thorough consultation and two in person training sessions with Jesse, we have already experienced massive improvements with our dog and can only expect to gain more control and confidence with her in the future. He is extremely knowledgeable and I would bet a lot of money that he can assist almost any dog owner with any issue they may have. The team at Canine Perspective have been nothing short of fantastic. I would highly recommend them to anyone. 10/10!

Great group. Jesse and team are able to take in any and all dogs. My pup has high anxiety and they were able to integrate her into the facility in the perfect way. She leaves calm, relaxed, and happy to flop on the floor when we get home. Highly recommended.

Hands down THE BEST daycare, boarding, and training facility. There’s no other place I feel 100% comfortable and confident leaving our dog Doug. Doug comes home from daycare/boarding happy, fulfilled, and tired! We love Canine Perspective! No matter if you come in for daycare or boarding, your dog will still receive structure and training each day which is invaluable. Jesse and his entire team care so much for the well being of every single dog - they familiarize themselves with each dog’s behaviors and personality, and provide attention and care specific to each pup. This is not something I can say about any other facility in Chicago.

Jesse trained our dog, Nash, for 6 weeks in April. Our dog was hard to handle at 70 pounds and would run away from us any chance he had. He broke my husbands shoulder in 2019 because he pulled so hard on leash. and pulled my husband down on the ground. It would take 4 people to catch Nash in the park because he refused to "come". Nash was always a sweet dog but he had a mind of his own and made very BAD choices. We have two friends who had previously used Jesse to train their dogs and watching their dogs behavior was amazing. They had control of their dogs....as I had none. zero. Jesse changed our life and the life of our dog. In 6 weeks, (and during quarantine!!) Nash transformed into a dog who sits, heels, comes and listens on command. We no longer have to worry about him being leash reactive or running away from us in the dog park. The dog training e-collar Jesse uses for training is our life vest so to speak. Nash knows the collar = walks, parks, stoop time off leash, etc. People compliment us on how good Nash is now. That's when we talk about Jesse..to EVERYONE! Now, that we completed our training, we send Nash to daycare at Canine Perspective every week and completely trust and appreciate Jesse and his staff with our dog. We know Nash is getting hours of care, playtime, exercise, and reinforced skills that he needs. At daycare not only do they get a Pack Walk and playtime but also reinforced training. Jesse and staff post pictures/videos all day of our dogs at daycare. Our dog comes home exhausted and calm and his commands keep getting stronger after each session.We am so thankful for Canine Perspective. Thanks to Jesse our 3 year old 70 pound dog is now the dog I always wished to have. He sits outside with me all day and we no longer scream and cry about his behavior. Jesse and all of the canine perspective staff are the absolute best with not only pups but humans too. We have been all over the city for training/daycare/boarding and this is the only place we keep coming back to because they are so knowledgeable and genuinely enjoy what they do. We have not found the structure and attention they provide our dog anywhere else. Sticking with canine perspective was the best decision we ever made for our pup!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Jesse and everyone at Canine Perspective (Enrique, Bri, Cory, Maddie, & Maria). I was originally drawn to their facility after finding them doing talented pack walks with such well behaved and focused dogs. Maria made scheduling so easy to get my dog, Pepper, evaluated. They advised me on what they thought would be the best for Pepper, given my goals for her and where she was at during those trial days. I purchased a daycare and train package with the team after really wanting my dog to be off leash trained and improved obedience, something I had tried with previous facilities. The individual attention my dog has received is so evident in her daily progress, this is what stands out the most to me. I receive daily updates on their Instagram page which is so sweet and comforting to see. Her training skills have never improved so quickly. In addition, the time and energy put into the training videos and in person time to transfer her learned skills is beyond appreciated. Each trainer is very knowledgeable, honest, and has always gone the extra mile to answer all of my questions. I have never felt rushed, they clearly want to make their clients feel comfortable about the process. I absolutely love that they take Pepper on pack walks and provide her with the socialization that she needs, with varying environments and distractions. The facility itself is very clean. Every time my dog is getting dropped off, she is thrilled to see any staff member come out the door to bring her in! I will continue to recommend this team over and over again to anyone looking for structured daycare and training that wants to see real progress, along with making the time to learn and keep it up. I will be bringing Pepper here for daycare and boarding, in which they continue to implement the skills she has learned. You should feel comfortable bringing your dog here for any service! Jesse and team have opened our eyes to the level of obedience that can be achieved with structured training and daycare. Our puppy went from a decent at best walking partner to exceptional in no time because of the level of care and discipline this company practices.

We adopted our dog last year who came to us with some challenges with nervousness, anxiety and reactivity. Jesse’s program was tailored exactly to what our dog’s needs and our objectives as owners. Jesse is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, honest and professional. From day 1, he knew exactly how to help us and gave us the tools to make us more confident with supporting our dog. It’s so clear that he loves this work and is dedicated to making his clients and their dogs’ experience a positive one. We’ve also been able to drop our dog off for daycare, which provides him with structure and opportunities to refine his skills. We now are able to do things with our dog that we never thought possible, like taking him to a patio, park or other spaces with lots of distractions. We feel more than prepared to handle any issues that might come up. I cannot recommend Canine Perspective enough!

As we get ready to move to the suburbs, I keep thinking about how much our puppy Winnie will miss Canine Perspective!!! Maddie has taught us more than we can ever know as new dog owners, and the attention Jesse and his team give to each dog in their care is truly remarkable. We had Winnie start with her three day evaluation, which may seem like overkill to some, but just shows how much care they take in making sure a new dog is comfortable and ready for their environment, resulting in a better experience for everyone- dogs, owners and trainers! Then during her two weeks of board and train, it was easy to see how awesome this place is. I was astounded by the amount of updates I received about Winnie, how she was progressing, and the above and beyond tips Maddie gave and continues to provide us to this day- and these aren’t even just training tips! She has helped us so much with food recommendations, answered any question I have about things to keep/ not keep around the house, and has just been an all around pleasure!!! Winnie is now a well trained puppy who is a joy on walks with great impulse control and we owe it all to Canine Perspective...So much so, that we’ll continue to send Winnie here for boarding, even after we move!! Thank you!!

Jesse has helped me become a better dog owner in so many ways. He’s always available for training questions, helped me improved my training techniques and the overall bond I have with my dog. The staff is awesome and I trust them wholly with my Harley girl. The training sessions are worth EVERY PENNY, couldn’t recommend this place enough.

I could not feel more confident leaving our dog with Jesse and his team at Canine Perspective. We've boarded Marlo there three times so far, and we really can relax while we're out of town knowing that he gets better structured dog socialization and training reinforcement there than we can even provide ourselves at home. No one is going to take better care of your dog than Jesse and his handlers. I have 100% trust in him!

We just picked Pilsen up from boarding with Jesse. Pilsen was SO happy to see us but a little reluctant to leave too. Lots of playtime and attention were right up his alley. This is the second time we’ve boarded with Jesse and the first time at the new facility. We’ve always felt so at ease knowing Jesse and his team were taking care of him. By far the best daycare around. I know because I've tried several around the city. They're great to work with and awesome with the pups. I use the daycare service everyday, but have also tried boarding and training - have had great experiences with all three. My dog loves it and I'm sure yours will too. Jesse is the best.

Canine Perspective is a great boarding & daycare facility. They watched our pup for an entire month and were fantastic at providing updates (i.e. pictures of our pup to appease my wife), administering his medication (eye & oral), reinforcing his heeling/walking skills and taking care of him in general. He was in high spirits when we picked him up after a month. From now on, Canine Perspective has become our go-to daycare and boarding facility!
