I searched a local neighborhood Facebook group about veterinarians. I saw someone comment that Dr. Muñoz was like a cat whisperer and was instantly intrigued. I called and I was able to easily get a cost estimate for care and schedule an appointment for my cat for the same week. Dr. Muñoz and her staff were very nice and professional. Dr. Muñoz and her assistant Monica were very sweet and gentle with my baby girl. I received some great information on keeping her in good health. I ended up scheduling a visit for my other cat and she’s being seen a month sooner than another appointment I had made with another clinic that same week. Service was less costly than I was anticipating. It was half of what I paid at another clinic. Really appreciate that they’re located off an L stop. Modern aesthetics and great customer service .

These guys are awesome! They saw me with ONE day notice because I needed a chip for my dog (per doggie daycare rules). They were so accommodating and patient. They also worked well with my "special" dog who doesn't trust many people... so very much enjoyed the entire experience. Will be my permanent vet in town!

Our pups first visit was wonderful. He’s 10 weeks and not a big fan of car rides or being outdoors right now. He was trembling as we arrived. The team at BLVD Veterinary Ravenswood was very patient, understanding, and gentle with our little guy. He definitely knew he was in good hands. Safe to say as he was giving tons of puppy kisses and smiled for a picture. My experience was a breeze. From the moment I walked in, until it was time to leave, the team communicated throughout (first timer here). I was definitely nervous and had no idea what to expect, but rest assured everyone walked me through the process while still giving tons of love and attention to my pup. The waiting space has divided seats that feel like booths for you and your pet. Spacious and comfortable. The facility itself is very spacious, bright, and clean space. A great sign that I saw staff following up visits with a Dyson and other cleaning material. I’d absolutely recommend coming here. I started going to BLVD Veterinary because I found that they work with rescues very pleasing. Since then I have been completely happy with BLVD. It is nice to go to a vet where they remember your pets name and actually care about how your dog feels. The Damen location is very convenient since it is right at the brown line. It is clean, open and very modern. Definitely would recommend!

I switched from Uptown Animal Hospital to Boulevard Veterinary Ravenswood because my vet, Dr Lenyr Munoz, changed practices. I LOVE Dr Munoz. She has taken care of my cats for several years now and always given me great advice. The staff here are very friendly and knowledgeable. My biggest complaint about Boulevard Vet is that they are more expensive than other places I've gone. Having a limited income, I don't have the luxury of taking my cats for wellness checks as often as I would like. The higher cost of care here is why I couldn't give them five stars.

If we can give our experience 10 stars we absolutely would. The whole entire staff was amazing from the front desk to the tech to the doctor. Our old vet had suddenly closed and My boy was having an eye issue and they got me scheduled quickly. They were so nice to my baby who sometimes gets snappy at the vet. He was so sweet to them I’ve never seen him be so nice at the vet. I love that they follow up with you through email and check on your pet after the appointment. They were so helpful in helping me find parking since it was my first time. It’s a good value and we will be returning. Thank you guys so much again. We have found our new vet.

Great staff, clean clinic. I would recommend them over the previous vet I went to. The staff at Boulevard communicate clearly.

I am a first time pet owner (two lil kittens) and BLVD was referred by the shelter I adopted from and I cannot stress how grateful I am to every single person in that building. One of my kittens ended up having a severe, bizarre upper respiratory infection that grew to anorexia. They answered the phone every time I called, they saw him multiple times, and when he took a turn for the worse they helped me make sure I got him to the ER without any hassle. I had done all sorts of research on how to be a pet owner but nothing could have prepared me for how horrible it is to have a sick kitten who won't take any meds, eat, or drink water. BLVD quite literally saved his life by taking this seriously, checking back in with me. Now he and his brother are tusselin', eating a MOUNTAIN of food, overall very healthy. Can't say enough good!

I am writing a review of Dr. Munoz, specifically, because I didn't really get to know the rest of the BLVD staff. My cat, Sheba, and I had been with Dr. M for many years until Sheba left her body this last August. Like others, we followed Dr. M from previous clinics because we loved her so much. She is very down to earth and clearly loves cats!! She has always been considerate of my financial limitations and given me a very clear picture of all my options. Sheba lived happily for 19.5 years thanks to Dr. M. I am forever grateful for all her help and kindness. Thank you, Dr. Munoz! <3 <3 <3

As much as Id love to keep this place from being booked up. They deserve all the credit! I have and elderly dog an had to switch vets last minute everyone here is so professional and they really go above an beyond to help your furry family member. I was about to have to make a decision to put my dog down and because of this place he has extra time. I am so grateful for giving a new vet a shot !!! Exceptionally caring, kind and knowledgeable staff. Everyone helped my spouse and I navigate treatment options after our cat was diagnosed with cancer.

Called early in the week to get a vaccine for my two kittens and was scheduled for Saturday morning. Incredibly friendly staff, easy new client form, and they took great care of our kittens! Couldn't recommend them enough if you live in the neighborhood!

Unrivaled level of care, they take their jobs very seriously and treat your pet like they were their own. Trans friendly too! That never hurts, in fact it’s literally revolutionary. You won’t regret going, your pet is in the best hands.

I’ve always had a great experience with Blvd Vet. The staff is super friendly and I can get my pet an appointment at late notice if needed. Reasonably priced and I completely trust them with my pet’s care!

I needed to establish a new vet when I moved to the city for my large and in charge and energetic French bulldog. We saw Boulevard on a walk one day. They were able to get us in relatively quickly for a new client visit. The staff was wonderful! My dog, like many others, gets nervous at the vet, but she became her normal fun self throughout the visit which told me she was definitely comfortable. Dr. Esser was very kind and helpful. We are happy we found Boulevard!

I am very happy with the care my Lucie has received at BLVD Veterinary. We were greeted by the doctor and technician with a blanket to help keep her calm during the exam. The staff is very friendly, responsive, the veterinarians have always spent time with us answering my questions and they have great prices, especially for the city. I am very happy with the overall experience at BLVD Veterinary. I happy your in the neighborhood.

I cannot say enough great things about Boulevard! I adopted from the Catcade who recommended Dr. Munoz for initial appointments. My kittens have decided to get various illnesses REPEATEDLY over the past 3 months. I typically reach out via email (Emily is the one who usually helps me!) and within a day or two, I receive a phone call to check in and determine the best next steps. When I had an emergency, they squeezed me in that same day, and then one catto diarrhea-ed all over their office to express his thanks. What was their response? "Oooh great, now we have a stool sample!" cracked me up. You are in excellent hands here :)

The staff at BLVD Ravenswood is incredibly helpful and kind, and it’s clear how much they love animals. They were so good to me and my two new babies (pictured here with the gift bags they sent home with us), and we look forward to our next visit!

My dogs have been going to Blvd Vet for years. The personnel is all fabulous and everyone is very patient with 2 nervous Chihuahuas. The communication and follow up is clear and concise and we appreciate all that you do.

We had a terrific initial puppy visit with Dr. Esser and her staff. They were highly professional and yet also appropriately adoring of our puppy! We learned a great deal about how to raise our puppy and look forward to continuing our relationship.

Recently took my little guy in for his first visit. The clinic is absolutely beautiful and modern, and the staff is very friendly and personable. The vet gave him a very comprehensive exam and discovered things that other vets had missed, for which I was grateful. Boulevard also leans toward overcommunication which is nice because no detail is missed or forgotten. While the exam and labs/treatment are pricey, it's not cost prohibitive, but I'd encourage folks to think about pet insurance for older animals that may need more thorough care. I recommend this place highly! Four paws, would visit again!

We followed our beloved vet, Dr. Muñoz --a cat enthusiast with a special gift-- to Boulevard, and are thrilled with the calm vibe, friendly staff and sparkling, spacious office and exam rooms. Street parking is abundant and easy to access. Thumbs and dewclaws way up!

My first visit with my cat Sadie was a very positive experience! From the front desk staff being very pleasant and attentive to Dr. Plourde being very thorough, thoughtful and informative. It was truly an ideal experience. I look forward to future visits with them!

I cannot say enough good things about Boulevard! We are treated with kindness and respect, and they truly love all animals. The front desk staff (Emily is the BEST!), technicians, and doctors are all incredible. They do not push services onto you but offer recommendations and transparent pricing. I will bring my pets here as long as I live close enough to make it work!

What a great experience. We evacuated from New Orleans due to Hurricane Ida right after my dog had surgery. I was so scared. They got us an appointment right away and went above and beyond to make sure my dog was cared for and had everything he needed. They were kind, caring, generous and extremely compassionate. Words can't express how grateful I am for how well they treated us.

We have always had a wonder experience bringing our dog here. They care, they listen, they always follow up with us, and they've very clear in their diagnoses and treatment plans. They've found lifelong clients in us.

My kitty and I followed Dr. Munoz from a prior animal hospital to Boulevard Veterinary Ravenswood. Not only was Dr. Munoz as amazing as ever (I have never had a doctor provide such phenomenal care to my kitties as Dr. Munoz, and I've been a kitty owner for over 20 years, she is truly one of a kind) but I was so unbelievably impressed with the care, compassion, and love provided by the front staff receptionist and the wonderful vet techs that worked alongside Dr. Munoz. I am not one to typically leave reviews but if this review helps somebody find a wonderful and compassionate team to work with their sick animals then I am happy to help not only this amazing team but anybody who has had trouble finding a loving veterinarian and vet techs, because I know firsthand how hard it can be to find attentive care, and also how distressing it is to see your fur baby in pain. Cannot recommend highly enough!

I am very unhappy with my experience at Boulevard Veterinary Ravenswood. I took my puppy here because his face and ears were extremely itchy, and he had a tick exposure the day before his appointment. The vet did a full physical that only took about 5 minutes, which felt quite fast especially considering my dog is really anxious and typically takes longer than 5 minutes to even calm down. The morning after my appointment I found another tick on his ear, but he had hardly been outside. This makes me question if the vet spent any time actually examining my dog’s face and ears, which were the areas I was specifically concerned about, and how thorough the physical exam was. Even if the tick had moved to his ear from another place on his body after leaving, that still means the vet didn’t take the time and care to check my dog’s skin even though he knew there was a recent tick exposure and I was concerned about my dog’s skin. Since it was a curbside appointment I couldn’t be in the vet with my dog and have no way of knowing what the vet actually did. All I know is that it doesn’t seem like the vet cared enough at all to be thorough and detail oriented. Definitely won’t be coming back.
