It is the first boarding experience for my three cats and it has been great! A great value and the staff are super friendly and nice! Definitely recommend❤️

My pup is usually shy, but he had a blast. Whimpered as we drove away! Got an exit bath for him and he came out extra fluffy!

My dog loves staying here. the webcams also allows you to watch the dogs when you miss them.

Staff is wonderfull but sometimes it seems like they have too many dogs for just one person during daycare.

I NEVER post reviews, but this wonderful puppy play place deserves alllll of the positive feedback. My doggo Maggie loves coming here and the staff is more than amazing. They treat her (and me) like extended family, which provides me with SO MUCH relief knowing she is in good hands. The play areas have web cams, you can dial in at any point a see how your doggo is doing. 20/10 this place is wonderful.

The groomer just shaved my dog when I wanted A trim. She wasn’t even matted. Don’t let her ruin your dogs beautiful coat. NEVER AGAIN! Otherwise I love Best Friends

We really love this place! My dog always seems excited to go and play with all the other dogs. They do a great job with customer service and I love getting an email update of how my dog is doing while I’m away. The only thing I wish could be changed is the loud barking of other dogs that is constant in the kennel area. My dog can sometimes be sensitive to this and I always feel bad. But I think you’ll find that at any boarding place. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone living in Chicago!

Michelle was such a tremendous help getting our dog in for grooming. She kept us updated on the pick up time and accomdated a last minute request. You can tell she truly cares about her customers and their furbabies! Our dog came home happy and beautiful!!! So pleased we found this groomer and business. I'm looking forward to using them for boarding and daycare service in the future.

Great doggy daycare with many options for boarding. They send email updates to let you now how your dog is doing. They also do training and grooming.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I left my dog in their care while out of town. I provided a fresh bag of food, his bed from home, feeding dish and toys. He was a happy, healthy dog when I dropped him off. When I picked him up he was noticeably underweight, despite the claim of the staff that he was eating regularly two times per day. I knew that was untrue by the amount of food returned to me when I picked him up. Additionally, his bed was wet, smelled of mold and was covered in urine. Upon pointing this out to the staff I was told they had just finished cleaning it; a blatant lie evidenced by the urine stains and strong moldy odor. After he came home he began suffering from an antibiotic resistant skin infection that he undoubtedly picked up in the unsanitary conditions of this establishment. This is an untrustworthy and negligent service provider. Do not entrust them with the well-being of your pet.

This place is the best. All the workers are great and my finicky dog loves coming here. They check vaccination records regularly too.

We take our dog to Best Friends for agility training with Hawk City K9. Stacey the trainer is amazing and a great instructor. I would definitely recommend it if you want to create a special connection with you and your dog.

My puppy loves going to day care and we love having a sleepy puppy when we get home from work! Watching her play on the live-cam is the highlight of my day!

Our dogs regularly visit Best Friends (at least once to twice a month on average). They are well loved and looked after. They do not hesitate to call if they have a question or need clarification. Our two dogs seem to be very happy and enjoy their time there. The luxury suite with camera is a great option starting out and gives you peace of mind while you are away. Frank (the valet driver) is the BEST. Highly recommend.

Great service and pooch had a fantastic time! We needed to board our dog last minute over a holiday weekend and the staff made the reservation and check in experience painless and seamless....and the grooming was exceptional, too!

I've recently moved back to Chicago and really happy I found this place (4 total visits so far). I have a 4lb rat (yorkie) that has horrible separation anxiety and always worry leaving her anywhere I'm not. I've really just dealt with the girls who are up front but they all already seem to know Roxy so well and make me feel much more comfortable about leaving her. You can tell they genuinely care about her and that makes me a customer who will keep coming back! Thanks bestfriends!

We've been bringing our pup to Best Friends for the past 9 months, and it's always been a good experience. You know it's a success when your dog is eager to get in the front door on the next visit! We have boarded her for everything from a full week to single overnights, and every time she has come back to us happy and healthy. If you get the go-home grooming, they even come back smelling sweet! We get regular updates by email, and can check in on the webcams during the day. Overall, you are a well-informed owner, and your dog is treated wonderfully. The only thing keeping us from bringing ours in for daycare is the distance from our apartment.

The staff is great, they are all very welcoming and all seem to know and care about our dog.

Best Friends is our go to place for our pup, Jedi. They have been nothing but kind, generous, and communicative. Jedi can be super energetic, but the staff is patient with him, even when he's pulling on his leash when we go to pick him up (we're working on it...) The only thing I'll recommend is that there should be more pictures/updates sent during long-term boarding stays. Besides that, no complaints from us. Thank you Best Friends for taking care of our fur-son with love and kindness.

My 2 Border Collies have gone to Best Friends since they were of the right age for doggie day care and I cannot recommend this place enough. Clearly the staff love dogs (and possibly cats, I wouldnt know) and my dogs are comfortable and happy every time I drop them off and suitably tired every time I pick them up. As for boarding, I have them many times including several last minute calls and they have accommodated. If you add in the onsite dog training (yep I used that as well) covering many dog and behavior types its a well rounded facility. I cannot recommend them enough. Steven

Took a long vacation away and was nervous to leave my dog with anyone -- Best Friends took great care of her and kept me posted throughout my trip. Webcams are accessible from mobile and laptop -- and picture is great! I recommend upgrading to the suites. 100% worth the privacy, space and quieter atmosphere.
