The only reason why I am giving a 4 out of 5 stars is that when I initially called for an urgent request for the Dr. to see my geriatric cat, the lady that answered the phone stated that I would need to take my cat who is a patient to a different clinic, since they are not seeing any urgent / emergency visits...I called in a second time spoke to someone else and I got a different reply...the Dr. called me a few hours later and was able to take me in. Thank you Dr. Child for making an exception and for making the time to see us.

Excellent care Veterinarian is very helpful and patient. My 12 year old MorgiPoo was diagnosed with diabetes and staff was very patient showing us how to use the pen to administer insulin and how to check his glucose. Amaris, Sonia and Charloette and Virginia are very curteous and answer all my questions. I highly recommend Abbott Animal Hospital.

Nice staff and nice doctor , they take care of my pup and she is always happy to see them Update Oct 1 2021 - few days back my puppy went for a surgery and they dragged her instead of picking her up , she is a small puppy. The old staff used to pick her up and pet her, I loved them, but now these girls are worried about their makeup getting messed up. Horrible experience after post surgery , called them to ask few questions post surgery , they said doctor is too busy.

After having a home vet for 20 years we moved on to Abbot from a referral from my daughter. They are amazing and very reasonably priced. We have three wiener dogs and two of them have been treated there with the utmost care and the employees all pass on warm and fuzzies. Great place!

Abbot, has been great. Our dog unexpectedly needed his teeth removed they offered a great flexible schedule, and amazing follow up visit.

My 2 pit bulls were patients at Abbot. Recently, I attempted to schedule an acute visit for one of them for a rash. I was told by the receptionist that I could no longer bring my dogs to the clinic. I was confused and asked for clarification believing there was a mistake. I have never encountered any problems there,have been timely in payments, have well behaved animals and have never been informed of an issue. When I requested a call back from someone explaining the circumstances surrounding the situation, I received no call. I called again and still nothing. I can only assume that the vet does not like pit bulls and as a responsible dog owner I must write this review to warn pit bull owners. Do not bring your pets here,they will randomly decide you cannot continue care without as much as an explanation. This has left me with no vet and a dog with an acute issue that must wait until he is seen by a new vet. As a registered nurse l know humans would never be treated this way and as a pet owner, I know animals should never be treated this way either. Shameful.

Dr. Childs is always so patient n helpful. I have 4 animals that see her for well-being visits. I'm very happy.

The lady doctor is a wonderful doctor very caring and real! The prices are very affordable! It's well worth the drive for me to take my dog here. All the workers are very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend any pet owner to take your pets here

Our appointment is for tomorrow. I really can't wait to talk to the Dr. afterwards. By most of the comments I think they care for the pet with gentleness and great medical knowledge. So tomorrow is going to be a great day! And a very special thanks to the young man on the phone. It was a pleasure to talk to you. Our appointment was wonderful! Dr Child was so nice and very informative. Even with Covid19 raging the staff is up beat. Car pick up, and a call from the vet.

Abbott Hospital the employees the doctors are very compassionate understanding they've taken good care of my dog I will continue to visit them and have my dog seen by them

Very friendly staff and they care about your pets.

2nd visit about a year later and they are great! Transitions are difficult and while the price did go up a bit, they are worth it. They have upgraded resources. And, they didn't shove anything in front of us to do for our pet. although initially worried, i considered the challenges in transition. I am super glad we came back.

She's the most thorough doctor in the 27 years I owned dogs, and does this with compassion and fee's that don't decide weather or not you can afford to cure or put down ur animal

Would not bring a stuffed animal to this vet. Brought our dog in to have a Bad tooth removed, Only to have our elderly dog receive a deep scaling cleaning and never removing the bad tooth. When asking for our records to take our pet to another veterinarian. We were told that they would have to screenshot the records and send them to us in a couple days. Thank God this is not a life threatening situation. Ask to speak to the veterinarian. Who never even took the time to return a phone call. Even a thief that takes your money on the street takes a few seconds to talk to you before robbing you

We’ve been going to Abbot for years,through 3 dog lifetimes. Dr manyan took care of our dogs, and now Dr Child. Last week when our older, large dog‘s health started deteriorating, we took him in. The doctor and staff were compassionate and understanding. They came to the house today to aid in his passing. We’re grateful for their compassion and service today

I've been there once. The waiting area needs cleaning. There's hair everywhere. The staff is friendly and not uptight.

Staff is very friendly and patient, the doctor-not so much. While she seems very knowledgeable, she isn't very patient or a people person at all. During his exam she kept lecturing me on how my 3 month old puppy needs to see a behavioral specialist due to him wanting to nip at her while getting poked and prodded. This was all while he was not feeling well. Weeks later my husband brought in our puppy again for a different ailment and now he was getting lectured for the same thing. The prices are not low enough to deal with her impatience. My puppy loves everyone including her staff but I'm guessing he can sense her impatience and bad energy and does not respond very well to her. We will be looking for another vet that can act in a professional manner.
