We have been taking our four-leggeds to The Village Veterinarian for almost 30 years. Thank you for seeing our Boston Terrier Truvy right away the other day and making her feel better! Getting a phone call from Dr. McGowan to let me know what was going on with Truvy and that she was ready to go home reassured me tremendously! Really, Village Vet, from the first voice to answer the phone to the last voice as we walk out the door, is the best place to take your fur babies for their healthcare. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

They really care about my dogs and put me at ease about how I am caring for them. Kind, caring and compassionate.

They're efficient, empathetic, and truly care about every animal they see. It's also very convenient to get to for those of us living in the rural areas nearby. This vet is by far the best in the area.

I’ve taken my dogs to the Village Vet for over 20 yrs! Our primary vet is Dr Paul McGowan and we always receive the very best care every visit, graciously answering my hundreds of questions either in person or by phone. ALL the staff at The Village Vet are just as amazing and we’re so very thankful for all of them!

Today we had to make the difficult decision to euthanize our 13 year old fur baby. Dr. Primm examined our baby and explained everything to us. He was respectful, informative and very caring. Nick is the most compassionate and caring vet I have met. He not only experienced our pain, he shared the pain with us! Thank you Dr. Primm for your compassion!!

Our precious Max got into something he shouldn't have on our daily walk. We called over 10 vets in our area and got turned away from everyone but the Village Veterinarian. Dr Paul and his staff went above and beyond and treated our belived Max. In such a tense situation we received empathy and all the information we needed to care for our furbaby. Max is now in the clear and I truly believe that they saved his life. There are not enough thank yous in the world to give.

Dr. Primm needs a lesson on personability, as well as diagnositcs. My one experience with him he was borderline condescending. First, he gave my dog zero attention and made no attempt to make my dog comfortable with him. He became defensive with any question asked in order to make sure every detail was understood on my part as I did not study veterinary medicine. He seemed to jump to conclusions and not want to take the time to listen when a concern was brought up. I felt as though I was annoying him by trying to make sure my dog is healthy. He refused to even entertain other possible etilogies and jumped to the most common dignosis, and even had the nerve to assume what I was going to say before I was even done explaining. I remained respectful and calm the entire time because other vets at this location are nice and I did not want to burn that bridge. Maybe he was having a bad day, or maybe people let him speak to them this way normally. Either way, I hope he reads this and stops himself before he treats someone else like garbage.

What a great place!! We traveled to the area to visit family when we noticed swelling on our 6 month old pups face. Called and got in right away, even though we're from out of town. The office is very clean and all the staff were super friendly and caring. I can't say thank you enough for helping us out while we were visiting!

We have used the Village Vet throughout two of our pets lives. We have but one word - phenomenal! Dr. Primm is a compassionate and caring vet who makes sure you understand all that is going on with your pet. In our opinion, he goes above and beyond for not only your pet but you as well. I recommend the Village Vet to anyone who asks where we take our pets.

I was very happy with the care my cat got from the staff and Dr. Nick Primm. This was my 1st visit to the village vet with Snooky. I received this 7 year old cat from a friend who died and left me her cat in her will. The village vet was highly recommended to me and I'm well pleased. I will highly recommend this veterinarian clinic to everyone. God Bless everyone at the village veterinarian clinic!

I cannot say enough about the care given by the doctors and staff at the Village Vet. They are the most sensitive and caring group of people. I have never had a problem getting any of our pets in and the vets are willing to talk personally with you. Lori Loos

If you want to have Veterinarians who really care about your little ones and show that by taking extra time to give them full attention and listen to your concerns, then choose The Village Veterinarian! If you want to have Veterinarians who are there for you to ask "silly" questions; yet,don't ever make you think they are silly questions, then choose The Village Veterinarian! If you want you and your little ones to be greeted with a smile and by name then choose The Village Veterinarian! If you want to know that you will be worked in to see a Veterinarian at the last minute, if possible, because they know how important it is for you and your little one then choose The Village Veterinarian. We really like the new sign!! They have the hometown touch, but keep up with the latest medical approaches for your little ones! Lovey and I are so happy we CHOSE The Village Veterinarian and the wonderful, compassionate staff!! I've referred friends to them! THEY ARE TERRIFIC!!!!
