They are always so friendly and the groomers do a great job !

I've frequently shopped at this place for my pets for the past 4 years. When my senior doggo had cancer, they were really great at advising on their CBD products. After he passed away, I felt comforted by the staff when I told them the bad news. I still come here for my cat supplies, and will continue to shop here because of the numerous great experiences i've had walking into this store.

The people that work there are very friendly, they offer a wide variety of goods and the groomers are fantastic.

I highly recommend Pets Etc., their shop is awesome and Jennifer the groomer was awesome. She extracted my Barley's glands and cut them long toe nails with no problem, Barley does not like either touched. He gave her no problem and said he was wonderful. Unless she lied to me, which I highly doubt, she did a wonderful job. By the way Barley is a 95+ pound boxer, 4 years old and rambunctious....not to mention STRONG! Thank you Pets+ and Jennifer for a wonderful experience!

Pic 1... This is how Schnauzer should look like.. Pic no 2 and 3 is how my poor dog looks after visiting this place. My baby have skin isues so I told Amanda to cut her hair super short but to kip Schnauzer look. She cut only tips of her hair! My dogs beard was mated but not mustache. No reason to cut it like she did. My dear God...

I had the best experience twice with these folks. I’m so impressed with their service, attitude, helpfulness. You can definitely tell they care. Marie is top notch!! The gentleman that delivered my food to my vehicle, can’t remember his name, did exactly as instructed and with a smile. I also had my Dobie in for a nail trim the other day and the lady there was awesome!!! He’s a fighter and she took great care of him. I’m and out in a flash! Can’t beat these people!

Stopped in for a quick nail trim. And despite my dog being a monster. The groomer handled it very well. We struggle to trim them at home cause he squirms and bites and she did such a good job, did have to muzzle him which I wish I had one at home for his nail trims cause he did try to bit her. Even after it she was still kind and gentle to him and friendly to me. Also I got a chance to browse and they have a lot of natural treats and chews as well as food and supplements for your pets. Will be coming back here 100%%%

Brought in my Golden Doodle for a cut. First full cut HERE. THought I was safe being that the groomer had 14 years experience. She made my Golden Doodle look like A POODLE....Shaved top of nose, eye brows uneven...Domed head didn't happen like we discussed. Face wasn't rounded like a Golden Doodle.

Terrible customer service, cancelled our appointment day before and said groomer went out of town last minute! Guess my time doesn't matter to Pets Etc.

Nice local and friendly store, they got stuff I requested if they don't have it in stock. Reasonable price comparable with other on line store. Clean store. I went back many times, even though I had other pet stores more closely.

They really do deliver the food as quick as they can. Sometimes within the same few hours that I order it and then if I order it later in the day, it’s here first thing the next day. It’s really appreciated. Thank you!

Good small pet store very friendly

I've been coming here for about 2 years now. I bring my dog Daxter in for his nail trimming whenever necessary and the way the treat him his astounding. He doesn't let anyone other than the workers here touch his nails. I love the selection of bones, treats and chews and am always happy to spend money here. You could say I like this place, but after today, I love it. I found out I could order stuff online and have it delivered, I had expected to get the items I ordered in a few days or a week. However I just received a call that one of my items was out of stock and wouldn't be available until tomorrow. I said that's fine and then was told my items would be delivered after closing time tomorrow. I had no idea they personally delivered the items you order online. It may be because my house is relatively close to them, I don't know. However I do know this has gained them my life long loyalty. Everyone is always incredibly friendly and willing to give recommendations and suggest things to try for my dog.

Not a fan of the groomer. She has attitude and talks bad about customers.

Today was my 1st visit to Pets Etc in Carol Stream. All I've gotta say is, "WOW!". My elderly Beagle has been in need of a nail trim, and historically he doesn't like getting that done. Since our vet closed, I've been hunting for a new groomer. I learned that our local Pets Etc provides grooming services; so I gave them a call and explained my dog's situation. The friendly voice on the phone said that their groomers have years of experience and that I could bring him right over, simply call when I arrive (COVID precautions). When I arrived, the groomer waved us in within 2 minutes and greeted my dog. I reiterated that he's old, partially deaf [or purposely ignores ;) ], and doesn't like his nails being trimmed. She said no worries and they walked to the back of the store. Here's the 'WOW' part...they were back there only a few minutes (less than 5 min)! He came prancing out with the groomer and my jaw dropped. She said he was great and no trouble. The gentleman cashiering at the front even gave my dog a small pack of treats as we checked out. Truly an all around AWESOME experience!!

I had just finished having my dog’s nails done and decided to shop around the store when I heard the nail tech tell another employee profanities about her last customer for nails. So she was talking about me but didn’t know I was in the store. How embarrassing! Who talks like that in a public place about customers? The manager gave me my money back which was nice but I’m really disappointed at the unprofessionalism I experienced. My dog and I would rather pay double price somewhere else than deal with that kind of rudeness.

Excellent customer service! Marie took time to walk me through food options and showed me the grooming facilities. Lacking in toys, collars, and leashes, but well stocked with premium foods and treats.

We love Pets Ect.! Stitch loves to go in, and the staff remembers him and greets him with pets. We’re especially thankful for their delivery service! It’s so convenient and quick! They’re awesome and have everything we need to keep our little guy happy. This is the only place we shop for our dogs needs, and we will continue to shop here!

The grooming area is very nice! My dog loves getting her nails trimmed! A quick 5-10min trim and a treat afterwards! All the staff is nice and sweet to me and my pup!

They do a great job, grooming our dog. Cost is lower than other shops I have been.

I’ve recently started going to this pet store and every time I’ve had a great experience. Staff is very knowledge and helpful. They carry brands that other pet stores don’t have. Also they offered to special order dog food! The guy that is always there is super helpful not sure what his name is but he’s like a dog food guru. He even helped me bring a big bag of dog food to my car because I had my baby with me. Super nice place!
