They were able to see my cat very quickly, every member of staff that I interacted with was very friendly, and their priced were very affordable. Highly recommended!!

This is not a fluff, gushy rating based on scant experience. Striegel Animal Hospital -- its leadership and staff -- are committed to carefully caring for animal companions -- I know this from years and years of complicated, critical and often dramatic interactions. They have been there with me for the passing of my 14 year-old dog companion; they are with me now -- helping, supporting me with my three-legged (St. Francis rescue) dog, Tres. I have total confidence in their expertise and commitment.

Very friendly and took care of my kitten very quickly. Thank you for helping us out especially during the holiday season.

This is the only vet in the area that is fear free. That is very important to me because my cat is afraid of everything. He even pees in the car on the way to the vet that's how much he hates it. But on the way home he's chill. I never have a problem making an appointment and it's not that expensive.

The best veterinarian in the area. The level of service and care for our dogs is amazing and we will not go anywhere else. Our dogs actually like going to the vet now as the doctors and staff make the experience low stress and caring!

I feel the most accurate assessment of Striegel's is made by our animals themselves. We have been to other vets where our two Pit Mix dogs were fearful and in one case refused to enter (Lulu) and refused to leave the car (Maya). At Striegel Animal Hospital our girls burst out of the car and run straight to the door wanting to be let in!! That says it all. For the humans: this is the only certified Animal Hospital in the area and Dr. Brandy Doggett is top notch. Facilities are equipped with the very latest surgery and rehab technology. The staff of Techs are continually trained on the latest veterinary knowledge. Our girls view them as family.

We rescued our dog in October. I had used Striegel many years ago and was happy to go back. So glad I did as they have been really great to work with. Very comforting and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Simply, you can't find a better place for your pets to go! The entire staff as well as Dr Brandy are amazing and take exceptional care of our dog. They also go out of their way to explain everything and discuss all treatment options before making any decisions. They truly care for your animals as if they were their own.

It is exciting to go to the Vet and have my dogs come in with wagging tails and leave happy and excited. The staff care and are kind and talented. Dr. Doggett is concerned, ready to research and consult with other vets on tough questions, and truly cares about my kids well-being and that of all other creatures she can help. A wonderful experience and not at all like a usual trip to the doctor's office. My dogs love going to Striegel Animal Hospital.

They've always been friendly and helpful whenever we've taken out animals there. We get our dog food from there most the time since I have a dog with lots of allergies.

Striegel was actually not my first choice when I was selecting a Vet for my Great Pyrenees rescue just because I hadn't heard of them (this is my first dog I didn't know any vets). After calling around and not getting help from anybody, Striegel got me in to see them in a 2 day time frame when everybody else was booking end of November and I just couldn't wait that long. After learning people in my family went to Striegel and Dr. Doggett was their vet I decided it was worth a try... wow am I glad I happened upon Striegel. Their customer service is unparalleled with any other vets I talked to in the area -- even to a new worried dog owner calling 3 times a day. They knew the answers to all of my questions and even gave me a call without me asking to check in on me and my dog. Dr. Doggett is VERY knowledgeable, kind, caring, and just all around a great Veterinarian and person. If you are reading this review wondering if this Vet is the right choice, I can assure you it is. Dr. Doggett will keep your pet feeling safe due to her not only being gentle with the pet in general, but she's also the only fear free certified vet in Southern IL. I won't be going anywhere else and frankly, why would you? I know my puppy is glad he went! Look at him!

Every time I go here my animals get the best care. No other local animal vet is willing to see my rabbits. My 2 fat chunks just usually need a normal check up and nail trim and they are always more than willing to help. In fact when I first got my chunks the vet went out of her way to print off good helpful diet and care information. She also explained some weird quirks bunnies have and said if I ever needed anything to always call and they'd see what they could do. This is what you want out of your vets. You can tell they truly love animals!

Everyone here goes above and beyond for my diabetic kitty. They are super nice and incredibly patient. Ive never had a better veterinarian. My cat is a monster, bites everyone, but these vets must be magical because he's just as sweet to them as he is to me, his momma ????
