Edited! Policy or not when it comes to LIFE OR DEATH! Very poor customer service! My dog is about to be without his seizure medicine and they won't spare him a few pills to get by until my vet opens in a few days due to the holidays (3 day weekend) I have PROOF ..paperwork showing he's on this medication. Just needed FOUR pills to get by until that Monday. He has been on them for many years... like I said I have proof. I'm not asking for pain meds I'm asking for low dose seizure meds for a 12 lb dog. Hope losing a few dollars was worth a review. My dog can die from seizures over the weekend. But instead they want to charge a new patient fee. It's all about money with these people. Over 4 pills. You don't know if he really has seizures. You would've had to take my word regardless if he was seen by you or not! It's all about money and not the care of the animal. I'll be sure to spread the word about this vet. Short staffed or not. No dog is worth dieing over a few pills. How sad!!!

We got a new kitten and tried to find a vet close to to our home for initial vaccines and check-up. The Vet and staff here were great and got us in quick. We had a wonderful experience and everything went smoothly. I was very happy with how friendly and compassionate the service was here. Definitely recommend Americana!

Best experience with a veterinarian office I've ever been to!! All the staff is amazing and so kind. My sweet cat had to stay overnight and they took great care of him, gave him lots of love and kept me posted on how he was doing. I was able to rest with ease knowing he was in good hands. They were thorough with examining him and relaying information to me, I couldn't be more grateful. Didn't cost an arm & leg either compared to previous offices I've been to. Thank you all so much at Americana! My heart is full knowing my little guy is taken care of thanks to you!!

Dr Sadie, Bailey, and her staff are absolutely unbelievable. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with genuine and caring staff that take care of your babies as if they were their own. After many years of different vets, I learned more about my 2 dogs in one visit than I have with all the previous vets combined. There is no other person I would let care for my girls other than Dr Sadie. She truly is the best. If you dont believe me then you haven't met her yet!

Wouldn’t take my animals anywhere else. Dr Sadie shows true compassion and treats our animals like family.

These people are amazing, they care for you and your pets. Our beautiful dog of over 15 years was put down due to complications, old age and pain and they made us comfortable thru the process, and were very empathetic to my grieving mother. If you want a vet that cares, you have the right place. Thank you!

The staff was very accommodating to get my dog in for her yearly checkup as a new patient. Once there, Dr. Sadie and Bailey were SO LOVING and patient with my nervous dog and even got her tail wagging in a high stress situation (which is never the case). They took my concerns and explained things to me that my last vet disregarded. Very personable, and you can tell they love their job!

Took my sweet kitty there for 1st time and everyone there was so wonderful to her and us. They didn't rush us into any decisions, didn't talk us into any unnecessary surgeries or pressure us into spending an obscene amount of money when the outcome would have been the same. I very rarley leave reviews, but I highly recommend them.

Dr. Bill and Staff are the most caring group of people. We have had surgeries on our children, normal exams and unfortunately euthanasia. Through all the ups and downs, tears and joy, there is no other Vet that listens and has compassion like Dr. Bill. I refer to him as my pediatrician for my kids which have 4 paws. Dr. Bill thinks outside the box to do what is best for your kids. Thank you for taking care of my Dexter and Fifi.

Terrible experience: anxious the whole time and I did not realize shots took up so much time that a paw infection could be missed,when the paw was main reason of visit. DO NOT! I repeat DO NOT! get me wrong Veterinarian Bill and his associates I am sure are wonderful people, that I could sit down and appreciate their profession and their love of animals. However I love my Animals and want the very best care Bloomington-Normal can offer and I now know there is more and the numbers do not lie. business service quality and standards should NOT be measured in just experience, but, by maintaining relevant up-to-date information and processes of taking on more efficient efforts of maintaining QUALITY business standards. #dontgetbaskined #formatterofmyopinion #proofisinthepoodin

My boy is 10 months old now, and his care at Americana Animal Hospital has been both efficient and accommodating to my busy schedule. Dr. Sadie has demonstrated her extensive knowledge during both phone inquiries and appointments. The staff provides a feeling of welcome as they remember both my boy and myself as we enter the building. My history working in veterinary hospitals gives me reason to be particular of my hospital choice, and I have not been disappointed. In addition, the proficiency in which the doctors and staff have handled the uncertain Covid-19 times impressed me. They filled all of my veterinary needs, while maintaining excellent customer service and client care with social distancing. I would recommend Americana Animal Hospital!

Super Friendly Staff! They got us in and out quick. They were also great after hours and called a prescription in for us.

I absolutely love Americana Animal Hospital. My family has been going there for all of our pets for generations now. I wouldn’t take my cats anywhere else. They remember you, they remember your pet. They will always have your pets best interest at heart. Even when the truth hurts. I had my first experience with having to put a pet down there. They made it the most positive experience it possibly could have been. When I think about it, I am filled with love instead of pain and it is because of the hard work and care of the Americana team.

We switched to Americana after it was highly recommended to us. We've been handled by Dr. Bill and Dr. Sadie, both giving us a wonderful experience. One of our dogs starting having seizures out of no where (something we have never dealt with) and both doctors and their staff helped us tremendously through that process. They remember our pets when we go in. They are knowledgeable and professional, without pressuring you into buying things you don't need. They truly want what is best for you and your pet! We live out of town and make the drive to visit Americana, because it's worth it!!!

I've take probably a dozen different pets here-not all mine, over the last 10 years. I just called because my 13 year old dog is lying here dying, in too much pain to move. We called to get her in for euthanasia, the receptionist busy said maybe in a couple weeks they could fit her in. This is the second time in less than a year they have done this in our time of dire need.
