WORST PLACE EVER. I do not recommend coming here, the employee was being extremely rude through the phone as I was trying to make an appointment for my puppy. She had the worst attitude & hung up the phone on me when I asked to speak to her boss. This doesn’t speak highly of the boss either, allowing this kind of behavior. The woman on the phone said her boss listened to her whole conversation and she said nothing was wrong. So speaking to your customers in a negative demeanor isn’t wrong ? Made me think twice about trying this place & good thing I did Bc I read reviews saying some people picked up their dog and they were trembling & scarred from the experience. You’re better off going somewhere else. FIX YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE. People should feel safe bringing their dogs to a groomers!

I don't recommend anyone to come here!!!! This was my first time and I am thoroughly not impressed by the poor customer service and how little you get for their high prices!!!!!

Terrible. Rude employees, overpriced, mysteriously take your dog for 4-6 hours. I have had my dog get a haircut for 1.5 hours. My dog was trembling when I picked it up, which never happens at other pet barber shops.

My dog came back shivering , his personality completely changed . They also did not clean his ears at all. So much gunk . They have a mask rule on the door . But the employees aren’t wearing any when they talk to you .

i have a doodle, very curly long coat.Told them to only give him a trim because his cost wasn’t matted. He came back completely shaved!!

Have been going to Tail A-Waggin for many years to have my Crocker Spaniels groomed. They always do an excellent job. Very professional and friendly staff. Claudia is a gem.

This is the second time that Claudia has groomed my Goldendoodle and she does a fabulous job!! Would highly reccomend!!!

Evidently their website is a little misleading, " No matter what the issue is, our team has the experience and equipment to be able to handle the job". I just called to make an appointment for my Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier who is fifteen years old and has Dementia. He is the sweetest dog you will ever meet. He still responds to commands and loves to give kisses. But unfortunately, they couldn't handle a dog with all these issues. I just moved to Bloomingdale and thought it was going to be a friendly town. I will take him back to Elmwood Park to be groomed , where I know he's welcome

My 1st attempt was cut off.... Was nervous picking up my large mutt after his first visit several years ago when he tangled with a skunk. At times he can be snippy with strangers. The ladies said he was great for them and was welcome back. RELIEF! Now he goes for grooming every 3 or 4 months or sooner if he gets skunked or covered in burrs. He absolutely adores the ladies!! Starts whining in the car about a block away, races to the front door and tries jumping over the counter to give kisses once we get inside. Now all I have to do is mention he’s going to go ‘get pretty’ and he runs to get in the truck.

Tails A-Waggin is kind and compassionate....I have peace of mind whenever I leave my animal knowing that all of the people who work here LOVE animals and give them quality care. The grooming is outstandingly consistent and my animal always looks amazing when I pick him up! Most importantly, my animal is calm and happy after spending a day at this groomer! VERY HAPPY!
