Loved the doctor and her assistant. Friendly and knowledgeable..they definitely know what they're doing here.

Glad they could get me in so fast because my cat was not doing well after getting into a poisonous plant. They were very kind and friendly even though my cat is not. She doesn't take to new people but did very well with this group . Thank you.

On July 20th, 2021 I brought my cat in for breathing issues. She was in her prime. Dr. Newman examined her and asked for more time to analyze. Part of the process was two x-ray's at $75 a piece. To me this was expensive. My Kitty had a throat constriction and when she ate, only when she ate, she was unable to breath and went into a panic attack. To me, it seemed that there would be something in my kitties throat or where it connected to the airway. When diagnosis required, I was told I could drive 160 miles, more or less, to Utah and take her to a specialist Veterinarian. I worried about the cost. I am disabled. And a Veteran. I wish we would not have needed a second VET. When I came to pick our kitty up, Molly at the front desk that does billing and follow-up, was very short with me. She pushed my payment through, when I was trying to get a special cat food from MVVH, that could not be bought elsewhere added to my bill. This was held by her, to bill on a second invoice. Her decision, I had no say. We used Care Credit and I wanted it on the first invoice, so I had zero percent credit, not 25 + interest on a $20 item. So I missed that chance and I have two older Kitties with health issues, at home. Then, in follow-up, to where they suggested I take my Kitty, Licorice, this was a problem. I had a couple of questions and wanted to contact the next VET, so I could better decide what was best. Molly was not helpful and I had to get my phone out of my vehicle and do it myself. Between the interaction at the other end and here at Mountain View, I gave up all hope. My Kitty was Euthanized, after I gave my wife a chance to say good-bye. I did follow-up afterword's, with Mountain View about these things, but never heard another word from any one. I guess Molly, who I spoke too at the front desk felt offended in some way. I had hoped for condolences. Maybe were sorry for your loss? But nothing was said. On 07/222021, Dr. Newman called me and was very unhappy. Said I spoke lies, in my review and that I blamed her receptionist, according to what was shared by her to Dr. for all the failings when I was under a lot of worry and sadness. Not true. So, I softened this and will leave it to you to be cautious.

When doing research on vet clinics around town, I noticed a few vet clinics had bad reviews in regards to sketchy billing practices and high prices. I did not see these reviews at Mountain View, so we decided to take our dog in because he had an ear infection. They were all booked up for the day, but they said we could bring him in and they would keep him there until they could squeeze him in. They had him all taken care of about 30 minutes after we dropped him off, and it all cost less than $90, which was a lot lower than we were expecting. Staff were very professional and made the experience even better! Also, they are now allowing you to bring your pet into the clinic yourself. In the past they were doing curbside drop off.

They were easy to get into and seemed to really care about my dog. They made suggestions but it didn't feel like they were constantly trying to upsell services or products like some of the other vets in the area I've been to.

The best vet in Pocatello! Dr. Newman is so caring and knowledgeable, I'll always bring my pets to her!

My little Sweet Pea came home from her visit and was dancing and wagging all over. Not bad for a 20 year old. They are wonderful folks down there and truly treat your pets as their own. Love them!!

Love love love Doctor Newman and her staff. Staff is professional friendly and knowledgeable. Always willing to answer questions and help with getting your animal into the vet. Doctor Newman is very kind and caring always going the extra step to make sure your pet is is thoroughly Examined. She is very caring and kind I have taken many of my animals to Mountain View vet and have always been very happy with the results.

We took our Boxer in yesterday for the first time and have nothing but praise for this team! We were given more information in 30 minutes than we have had in 3 years. We highly recommend Mountain View Veterinary Hospital!

I needed insulin for my dad's dog in a hurry when his normal veterinary clinic was out of stock. They were so kind and good to work with us to get us the medicine we needed, even though they are not our regular veterinary clinic. Top notch service and I will definitely recommend you to anyone needing the services you provide.
