Love these folks. They always know me and my dogs name when ever we come in. They are wonderful. So glad we go there!????

Our first vet visit went really well. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. All my questions were answered and my puppy got some treats while being examined. The vet was also happy to recommend some next steps for my puppy’s seizure disorder and also gave some resources for behavior training.

elderly blind cat in for her annual checkup. She did not respond to the tranquillizers I had given her, they offered to keep her and re sedate her in order to perform the necessary tests. She put up quite a fight by not responding to their attempts either, but they handled her with love and finally got the tests done.

We love the staff at Alta, especially Dr. Nickisch and Dana. They treat you like family. ????????????????

Great visit with Dr Kirsten she always treats my animals well and answers all of my questions. The tech we had this time was wonderful with Rochester. Really like Alta

My wife took the dog in on 10-26-2021. I assume they don't have her cell phone number. So I can't give them a good review, my wife has to do that. They are not very professional, in not getting the right phone number.

Great experience! Clinic was very clean. Facility is very well kept and inviting. Office staff, techs, and Dr. Carlson were all the very best. The Senior Tech did a great job in the exam room--very competent and a has kind demeanor. Her skills sets were far above and beyond what we had experienced elsewhere. Dr. Carlson is my favorite vet of all time. We have known her for years--she moved with precision from initial intake of our dog and moved forward to a diagnosis. Dr. Carlson was very in tune my emotions when she had to break the bad news to me . She spelled out multiple options, costs, and benefits of further emergent care. Bottom line: we will now bring our animal family members to Dr. Carlson.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. There are three practicing vets who operate here, this makes getting a second opinion so easy. My dogs love going to the vet.

Really good place. My wife and I just moved here from Texas. Alta Animal Hospital is conveniently located to our home where we can take our Dog's for shots and appointments. The staff is very friendly and professional. Their prices are very reasonable too.

Doctor birkman needs to dumb it down a bit for people that don’t speak medical jargon. And she needs to quit pushing expensive treatments on people.

We love Dr Knickish. She's cared for our little man since he was a pup. She communicates well all of his needs and calls us personally when she's done with procedures he's needed.

Only giving two stars because the nurse was super HONEST and didnt have us waste our money.. We also got our cat cremated and it was beautiful. My poor husband had to go in because our cat of 6 years was ill… he was told it was $120 just to take him (cat) out of his hand… I can not believe an animal hospital would not have some sort of payment plan. Front desk lady was rude until she heard my husband bawling over his BEST friend. I wish he would have went somewhere different because I feel the outcome would have been different:(

Best service I’ve had for my cats in Pocatello! Highly recommend!

Alta takes good care of my beloved pet and since they are in the south end of town it is quick and convenient for me to take my pet in for check-ups. The staff is friendly, place was clean and I feel like they are very professional in they're approach with regards to any all of my concerns. They were able to do blood testing in only ten minutes so I can only imagine they have state of the art equipment and knowledge to address any situation.

I appreciate the responsiveness of the Alta staff from their receptionist who worked to get my dog in on a cancellation and then made it happen with a drop off visit. The vet called me to discuss the findings and discuss a treatment plan, which was done with professionalism and reasonable consideration of cost trade offs.

When the dog is excited to see the building you are warmed because of your ???? positive experience even when they are sick.

Dr. Nickisch and Dr. Burman have been my families go to veterinarian's for 20+ yrs. My family pets have become their family pets. They get to know you and your pet and your needs. I recommend them to all!!!

So rude I didnt make it past the receptionist. Im just trying to find someone to see my 18 year old Cat and she was so rude she wouldn't even give me 2 seconds. No heart and no grace!! I'm horrified this is who we are now! Worst place I've lived in my entire life! Update: I can't believe the fake generated bs response your staff has given. #1 I wont be back because I never got past the rude staff to begin with. Please stop replying with lies. You have never seen my family and never will! This is a terrible practice and it's even worse that you can get back online and lie to try to make yourselves sound good!! So now your rude, arrogant and liars!! This place is sickening!
