Idaho Equine Hospital Nampa, Idaho

My horses have gone here for their purchese exams, teeth, Osphos shots and now strangls. Every person we have encountered from the receptionist, to the dentist, to the vets have been professional, caring, and not pushy about pushing the budget. They took excellent care of our horses. I love how willing they are to answer questions and explain everything they are doing along the way. We are greatful to have such an amazing equine vet in the valley. We will never go anywhere else.

Dr. Brinkerhoff saved my boy's eye, consulted with a specialist when needed, put up with my questions and rollercoaster of emotions, and did it all with honesty and a smile. I am eternally grateful.

Dr.Cooper, was so precise sewing up Gus. Never did find what he caught his eye on. But Idaho Equine was open on a Sunday, and Dr.Cooper was so nice and easy to talk to. Thanks Idaho Equine for being there when I needed you.

We raise alpacas, sweet valley alpacas in boise , and I can't say enough good things about Doctor liz Scott and her current assistant Chandler. They truly care for your animals like they are their own. The whole entire office staff is very pleasant and easy to work with. The employees and facility is a wonderfull asset for our community.

Idaho Equine is one of the best equine hospitals on the west coast. If you have a problem with your horse, they will do their best to fix it. They are knowledgeable and have always produced a plan which has kept my horses working at their job and at the top of their game.

Amazing. Even after xrays were taken, the horse was determined to be put down, then he went to the surgeon and asked for the second opinion at which there was no way to save the horse. They are very humane and caring.

They are amazing! They were able to get my pony in on extremely short notice. I needed a health certificate to move him out of state. They went out of their way for me & I really appreciated it!

They were so helpful and got us in right away. We were given a very clear and understandable diagnosis for our horse with a rare eye injury. They were able to coordinate with an opthamologist and get him healing.

Took our mare there for rear leg treatment. Dr. Knox met us in the parking lot and introduced himself. Evaluated our horse, talked about the treatment. Then did shock wave. The people were very nice and helpful. It was our first time there. Lee in the office was great. Thank you Idaho Equine for helping our mare.

Over this past year I have had some unfortunate illness with 3 of my boys.. my mustang Levi had carcinoma cancer of the eye, my Belgium draft, Teddy I had just rescued has severe tendon and bone damage and my Palomino Dusty I just lost to a tear in his small intestines. These people at the Idaho equine hospital are the most amazing and compassionate people. They give you 100%. Although I lost Levi and Dusty I can move forward knowing they had the most amazing care ( Dr Pete & Dr Robin), but it didn’t stop there...the staff, the assistants, front desk, stall cleaners, each and everyone of them wear smiles and genuinely care for our babies. Vet Liz examined my Fox trotter mare who had vague symptoms. Recommended a few tests. Followed up with results and treatment suggestions in a timely manner.
