We’ve lived in a lot of places with our dog and this is the best vet we’ve been to by far. All of the vets, techs, and staff are kind and professional, and the vets go above and beyond to communicate the different treatment options and costs. Thanks for always taking such good care of our pup!!

Traveling from Florida w/ my 2 dogs. My black German Shepard developed gastrointestinal symptoms and needed to be examined and treated right away. The local vet where I was staying in Moran,WY was closed. The nearest veterinarian was 85 miles away in Jackson. After speaking w/ the office staff, they said to bring her in and Dr. Carleton would see her. An hour and 45 minutes later we arrived at Jackson Animal Hospital and Carter, my Shepard was examined and treatment administered. I'm so grateful of Dr. Carleton and her office staff for seeing us. Knowing my dog's condition is being treated and health intact, we can continue on adventure.

We were traveling through Jackson Hole and our dog was very ill. The staff and the vet were very understanding and went above and beyond our expectations.

I wish I could do much more than just give 5 stars. I've had a huge emergency which lead me to rush to Salt Lake. Everyone called to check up on both chloe and myself. Definitely felt the love and care throughout this difficult last couple days.

We were traveling when our 1 yo doodle became ill. We were able to get him in on a Saturday and by that afternoon he was recovering from surgery...having removed 2 good-sized rocks from his digestive system. His care and follow-up by Dr Joe and the staff have been outstanding and our dog is making a speedy recovery.

The team is incredible at Jackson Animal Hospital. Over the past few years, our 3 dogs have been taken care of by Dr. Carleton. She is very compassionate and super smart. We always feel our pups are in safe hand's when we drop them off. All of the staff are so friendly and accommodating. It's easy to tell they truly care for the health and safety of our community's pets. We can't recommend highly enough and very appreciate of their services!

I highly recommend Jackson Animal Hospital. After seeing many vets due to living in different places and having a dog with challenging health problems, Dr. Carleton is the best vet I've been to. Three years ago I came to Jackson Animal Hospital at a loss for how to help my dog live a good quality life. Dr. Carleton tried everything she could to make his life comfortable including helping me to make the decision to end his suffering this year. He also broke his leg (two metatarsal bones) and she immediately took him in diagnosed him and set his leg with the consult of veterinarian orthopedic surgeon. She truly cares about what is best for the animal, looking at the whole picture. She is genuinely kind, knowledgeable, passionate, and humble.

I’m extremely particular with my choice in docs for our pets. However, in this instance, I didn’t have time to read reviews, talk with locals, and choose. Within 2 hours of moving to Jackson (and at 10pm), one of our dogs fell ill. We had no choice but to call whoever was open. Within 20 minutes of onset he was in surgery. Upon admittance Dr. Eva Denka was quick, decisive, and clear on diagnosis, surgery range of cost and outcomes. They literally had minutes to save him. The surgery went great and when I picked our pup up - I knew I had found our new vet; from the techs to the docs, everyone was amazing! Jackson Animal Hospital quickly earned our future business, trust and respect.

All 3 of my dogs are seen at Jackson Animal Hospital- all of the staff go above and beyond for my pets every time we come in, whether for an emergency or their yearly checkups. All of the doctors and staff are always friendly, caring, and helpful. I can't recommend highly enough!

Fantastic clinic all around: doctors, vet techs, and front desk all care and are passionate about animals. Dr Heather saved the lives of two of my cats (early diagnosis of pancreatitis and cancer) through her recognition of subtle signs other vets missed. She and Dr. Joe are easy to talk to, knowledgeable and just plain gifted. I also value that Heather donates her expertise and resources to run free spay and neuter clinics where the need is the greatest. Even though I don't like to take animals to the vet, knowing they are going to this clinic, I feel confident and comfortable that they are receiving the best care.

This vet clinic is excellent. Thorough, respectful, compassionate animal lovers, they all treat our pets as we do - like family. They are truly interested in serving the community with the animal’s best interest always at the forefront of any decisions or suggestions made. Dr. Carleton is not one of those vets who is out to gouge a client to sell them products or services that are not necessary. Plus, when two of my dogs have had to be put to sleep over the years, I was offered different options with full explanation of the benefits and drawbacks for each, and when the final decision was made, there was complete support and empathy. I wouldn’t take my dogs or my cat anywhere else. Complete trust in them all.

Couldn't imagine a more supportive and caring staff. They treat your animals like their own and take incredible care of them. Extremely knowledgeable staff who truly have your and your pets best interest in mind. Dr. Joe is amazing and always goes the extra mile! Highly recommend.

Jackson Animal Hospital and their staff is amazing. Dr Wienman and Dr Carleton are always wonderfully attentive and straightforward. The technicians and front desk are also great and provide great customer service. It can be scary to have to take your pet to the vet and they are always comforting and professional. We passed through Jackson on our way to Yellowstone and needed some emergency pet care. I called and explained our situation and they were able to get us in in the same day. The staff was professional, kind, and our visit was quick. We were/are so grateful for the professionalism and kindness of Jackson Animal Hospital and if we lived here we would make it our go-to place for our boxer boys. Thank you so much!

Putting our dog down was one of the hardest things we've had to do yet, but Dr. Carlson helped us make the best decision given our situation, shared her extensive knowledge and showed nothing but compassion for not only us, but for our pup as well. I won't take any future pets anywhere else. The whole team made the experience bearable, they are awesome.

The whole staff is warm, kind, and incredibly loving. They treat my dog as their own. Everyone goes above and beyond. The office visit was wonderful, but the heart connection comes through in the follow-up. They don't just leave a message, they want to hear how the patient is doing. Thank you!
