We have always had a wonderful experience here with our fur baby, Chloe. The entire staff is so helpful and friendly to both us and Chloe for anything from regular check ups to mini emergencies.

Dr. Zoe is great and really listens. I have been going to Hometown for 3 years and have had an excellent experience. There have been a few times when I’ve needed an appointment right away and they were able to accommodate.

Avoid at all costs. As you walk in, you're greeted by an intense smell of dog and cat urine. Dr. Baxter was openly hostile, pushy and immediately began upselling and trying to use fear to get the okay for additional costly procedures. It was quite something to witness a "doctor" expose herself as a depraved high-pressure salesman. The price tag was outrageous as well. Really baffling that a place like this can stay open and have any positive reviews at all.

Really great vet. They keep us on top of annual check-ups/vaccines and worked hard to squeeze us in when we had an emergency.

They are all very kind, and sincere, as well as extremely professional and friendly. We couldn't feel any luckier that we found this fabulous staff. Very kind staff. Always willing to work with my whole pack, two of which have their issues being rescues. They will do whatever makes the pet comfortable, not whats convenient for them. Always accommodating, helpful and kind.

Holy smokes! I just love these guys SO much! It can be really hard to find a vet for your fur-babies, but I feel like I have hit the jackpot with them! There staff is amazing and you can tell that they all genuinely love each and every animal that comes through their clinic. Dr. Baxter is so knowledgeable and keeps you in the loop, every step of the way! I have a 7 year old golden retriever and he loves going to the vet! He recently had a cracked tooth that was looking a little infected and I called Hometown Animal Clinic to see if I could establish care with them and they were able to get him in for an exam IMMEDIATELY! They also work with ScratchPay, which was a life savor! Bottom line, if you are looking for a vet for your fur baby, look no further! You just found them!

If you have a flat face dog this may not be the place to start. If you have westvet level money start there so you don't spend $$$ on unnecessary diagnostics.

Hands down best vet we could ask for. All the staff is so friendly and caring. They explain things very well and always let us know everything that goes on with our dogs. Our pups love them all! Our previous vet kind of talked down to us but Dr Baxter is always is so kind and informative, and always makes sure all of our questions are answered. They truly treat our pups like their own. SO glad we chose them for our vet, we know our pups are always in such good hands with them. Highly recommend! :)

Dr. Baxter and her staff have always taken extra care of my dog! She is diabetic and they always help me to understand what she needs. They always help me get her in when it's a quick notice. It's a relief to have them care for her. Thank you very much

We are new to this Vet Clinic but they left me impressed! The staff was very friendly and the vet was exceptional. She was thorough and really helpful. Great bedside manner. We are going to tryout their grooming service for one of our strong willed poodles. I expect it to be an equally positive experience.

The staff was great, Dr baxter went out of her way to care for our sick luna. She even took her home at night to give her around the clock care. I mean who does that?? Dr. Baxter did everything she could .Unfortunately luna she didn't make it. But she gave us options and made it a little less painful. I'm grateful for hometown...

My older dog had a cough. Even though they were booked they fit us in. The Vet eased my mind. She explained everything thoughly.

I literally drove from Twin Falls to Boise just because their rating was so high. Very professional and kind staff. This was the first time I left my cat alone with someone I didn’t know and due to COVID I couldn’t stay with him. I was very impressed with the service and knowledge they had they called me every step of the way and made sure I was ok with everything. I will definitely recommend them to anyone who has a pet and I am willing to travel back up if I need to! Love the staff!

Dr. Baxter and team are incredible. They fit me in in spite of a packed schedule and I was not an existing customer. They were informed, patient, kind and thorough. Truly care about the health and wellbeing of my doggy. They have earned our business from here on out. Best vet experience I have ever had.

This place is absolutely amazing. We recently moved from you guessed it SoCal and needed a new vet for our baby boy. He’s a Lhasa Apso mix about 16 years old. In California it seemed we left paying over 1000 bucks every visit. With an array of medications that he supposedly needed. One vet even said we should just put him down (never went back there). We found hometown animal clinic off a quick google search and called to make him an appointment. The staff was so professional, polite, and overall just very happy. Not something I ever experienced back home. We took him in the following week for a senior check up. What do ya know he comes back with a clean bill of health, doesn’t need any medications, not even an ear infection!! I just paid over 1000 dollars for a senior check up in SoCal and left hometown paying not even a fraction of that. The veterinarian called me a day later for a follow up and was so sweet and caring. I could feel her kindness over the phone literally. Overall I would highly recommend Hometown Animal clinic to all my friends and family!

I take my German Shepherd to see Dr. Baxter and she is amazing. I give her and the rest of the team my highest recommendation.
