We have two Dobermans that love going and the staff does great with them

These people never answer their phones. If you want to inquire about boarding your dog, especially during the busy holiday season. Go in to talk to them. You will never receive a call back. Not even sure why they have a message system.

Very courteous and friendly. Treated my dog very well.

Very nice place and the lady that owns it is wonderful. The dogs she breeds are incredible!

I just picked up my two dogs this morning after boarding them for the weekend and everything was so easy. Making reservations, checking in, picking up my dogs - the staff make it super easy. Plus, I never have to worry about my dogs while they’re here. It was my Lab’s first time being boarded and he had such a great experience I know it will be no problem bringing him back next time I have to board them. I can’t recommend Gem Crest enough. The tour I took when I first found them was really what sold me. The facility is clean, well maintained, and all the dogs I saw were obviously healthy and well cared for. They really treat your pups like their own and we won’t be going anywhere else!

Only place I trust with my dog when we go out of town. Very friendly staff who genuinely love animals. Highly recommended.

My dog goes into the kennel and comes out in the same condition. Edited 05/11/2021: My 13 year old dog got kennel cough from here, docked 3 stars for lack of cleanliness and being stuck with a $154 vet bill.

Our 7 month old lab and boarder collie loves Gem Crest Kennels. When we are away we know he is safe and well taken care of. He even gets one on one play time. 5 star recommendation!

I had never boarded a pet before, always had a sitter come to the house a couple of times a day. Sometimes my Mom would stay and take care of all of my pets. It was easy for her when I had my Black Labrador who was a mellow, well seasoned dog. Now that I have a young, energetic German Shepherd Dog who needs lots of structure and discipline, he's too much for her to handle. A good friend told me about Gem Crest Kennels several years ago. She said it was the best place to leave your dog when going out of town. I followed her tip and I believe it is the best. I haven't boarded anywhere else, but I can say for sure that the staff is professional, knowledgeable, patient, personable and a seem to really like animals. The safety of your animal is their first concern and they accommodate most wishes (within reason, I'm sure). My dog always comes home happy and I don't worry about him while I'm away. P. S. The groomers dona great job, too.

My pup loves Gem Crest. He can’t wait to get out of the car and is always happy to go off to his kennel. I’ve left him at Gem Crest for periods up to 2 weeks and he’s always come home happy and healthy and clean. When I had to leave him with (a non-contagious) ear issue, they cleaned his ears and put in drops daily and when I called to check on him they were very reassuring. I’ve been a Gem Crest client since the early 80s...all my dogs have been happy there, and so have I.

We have border our pets here for the last 15 years. They have always taken wonderful care of our babies and we wouldn't go anywhere else to board our pets!
