For years I have used this facility for a variety of their services and I have to make the decision to no longer. The staff is completely incapable of customer service and knowledge. I find them rude and not being honest with the quality of care. I'm not sure if it's a day care or animal facility at times. I find this to be an unsafe place for my dog. On two separate occasions I have heard staff talking about other staff and clients while waiting to be helped. Those behind the desk are often sitting and not attentive to customers in the lobby. Their website directs you to a viagra page and you can never get through on the phones. On the occasions I have gotten through, I get a "bye bye" at the end of my call. When you walk through the door it smells like urine and my dog has come home several times smelling of a fishy smell. Most recently I have made it known that my dog has urinated for minutes after being picked up and is not calm after a full day of day care. The lobby has holes in the ceiling and when it rains water is leaking into buckets. I am afraid to know what it's like where my dog stays. I wish the old owners were still there, they actually cared and were professional.

Loved the service here. Grooming was fast and dogs well taken cared for. They even gave them cute bowties after.

It's okay but a few of the lady's that worked there did not have a mask. It's okay for the price, when I picked up my pup she was soaked! The lady's had to dry her off. It took 10 minutes to do that and finally they did. Once she came home she was sick. 35.50 for a day including a bath and they get to play with other dogs. Those are the only reason why there is 3 stars.

I was looking for an obedience class for my beagle Ernesto and I was referred to Gwen Mowerey at Shipp's corner. Ernesto went for six classes and he did amazing. Gwen gave me amazing techniques to use so that he would walk better on a leash, not run to the door or jump all over is brother. We were so pleased with how the training went. Ernesto also got to socialize with the other dogs and is ready for doggie daycare! I would definitely recommend Gwen if your dog needs any type of training.

I took my Aussie here as a desperate, last minute, resort for a grooming appointment because my former groomer recently moved. I was skeptical after reading the reviews about the poor customer service in the past. The current groomer was a referral from my old groomer who was her assistant. She’s super nice but I’m starting to wonder if she was the one who groomed him or if someone else did, even though we double checked multiple times since she’s groomed my dog before. I made it clear I only wanted his feet, back of the legs, and rear end TRIMMED/shaped. When i picked him up i noticed they completely clipped his feathered ear hair which i personally love. Even though this was only our first time, I think we will be looking around before returning. :(

We always take our dog here when we travel. Love that she gets her walks and that they accommodate her old pup hips with soft padding and a bed!

I would not trust this place to care for my pets again. We experienced issue with poor customer service and apathetic attitude from the staff with the check-in/check-out process including a miscommunication of time frame. My confirmation email stated pick up was between noon and 2pm - however I received a phone call at noon from Shipp’s Corner saying we were late and needed to pick up asap to prevent them charging another day. When I said I had an email with a different time they told me I was wrong. One of my dogs was returned to us covered in feces and had a bright red/irritated eye. The manager stated that they hadn’t noticed his condition and that when they are busy they can’t be expected to pay close attention to the condition of each dog. They clearly do not care about the animals that stay with them and do not treat your pets as their own. I waited to post this review to give the managers/owner time to rectify the situation but all I was offered was excuses and a free bath. I immediately had to bathe both dogs after pick up so a bath is not needed at this point and I would not take my pets here again even for a free bath. Beware of the false advertising on the website which states boarded dogs will receive a rinse the day of pick up. When I asked why this service was not provided to my dogs the manager admitted that they do not have rights to their website and do not give that service despite what the website states. I’m not sure what other information on the site is not accurate. If you’re looking for a place you can trust with your pets this is not it.

I took my dog to Shipps Corner because he is old and he always seemed the worse for wear when I would pick him up at other places. They took such good care of my old boy here and I got to check in on him while I was gone with an app that connected me to a camera right outside his kennel. I will definitely be taking Hermes her again.

My dogs always get a very good haircut/groom here. Prices pretty high though.

When picking up our family members after spending 75 a night, one of them was covered in feces and all the activities promised where not given.

Great place to board your pet! Staff are friendly and helpful and you can also drop off your dog for doggie daycare for they day and they can make lots of new friends, definitely recommend!

Diesel loves it there and the staff is fantastic. He loves playing with all his doggy buddies! Prices are very reasonable.

We come here for the dock diving competitions. The site has competitions with AKC North American Diving Dogs. These events are an amazing way to have fun with your furry family members, if they like the water. We have been coming here for years, the community is very supportive, and easy to join in. The are even Try It times between competition waves so you can see if your dog is interested in playing the games. It's a great community, and a relaxing and fun way to spend the weekend!

My puppy got bit in the neck by one of the employees pit bull which wasn't supposed to be there. My dog had to get two surgeries to repair damaged vessels. The staff is great but management and owners are awful. Sterling Meadows is the place to go!!

Seen many employees chasing dogs they have accidentally let out. Nice people working there, but not very responsible.

No One called me got there for a haircut only last time it was 25.00 said other groomer left now they want 65.oo are you crazy especially when I only received one phone call to confirm appt and bring in her shot papers very piss that was wrong could have text me or left voice mail this morning what's wrong with people NO consideration will tell my friends how they treated me.

BEWARE.....My Dog went here, He was groomed and also received Kennel Cough. I called them and it was confirmed that at least 3 other dogs had gotten sick from this busniess. It cost 93 for the grooming and 95 for the vet bill and they did not even offer to refund a portion of the grooming bill knowing that my dog bacame sick from being taken there. I wish that I could give negative stars Ridiculous....
