Great place to do a self wash on your furry pal.

They clipped my dogs cuticle and didn't apologize or try to make it any better and acted like it wasn’t a big deal Don’t come here unless you want them to physically harm your animals

I dropped off my cat to get his nails trimmed and he came back with two nails cut directly at the root. He was bleeding for two days. After I called them to explain the situation they put me on the line with the lady who cut his nails who claimed that it wasn’t her fault and his nail “exploded.” When I asked for a manager I was told she was out of town, and I did not get in contact with her for a week and a half after the incident. I was offered no apology or acknowledgement of the mistake and the staff and managers were extremely unprofessional and lacked adequate training. I highly advise against bringing your pet to this place.

I took my husky to be deshedded and bathed here for the first time a week ago. I was looking for a new groomer & a friend suggested them and spoke highly. The customer service when I got inside was very iffy and just not decent at all from the front desk. I picked up my dog when she was done and noticed she was just acting a bit off. Very tired & just seemingly sad. I just took it as her being tired but give it a few days & I’m petting my dog and notice a scab on her back. I can only assume they were brushing her extremely rough and not paying any mind to how they were treating her. To top it off, when I was picking her up the way that they were talking to her in an attempt to get her to follow was just not comforting at all. Disappointed that I didn’t see the red flags when I first went to drop her off & just turn around to walk out the door. I’d rather drive 30-40 minutes to go back to my old groomer.

This was my first time I took my 2 dogs to Fur Frenzy for grooming. They were looking pretty rough when I dropped them off and in much need of hair cuts. They did a wonderful job grooming them! Best hair cuts they have ever had! One of my dogs is 13 years old so I have many cuts to compare to. ????

Only gave one star because zero isn’t an option. Dropped off a cat for an appointment at 2:00 to get a flea bath and groomed, and at 7:00 that evening decided to go physically to the store to see why she wasn’t done yet. The owner informed that the cat hadn’t even been started, and made excuses as to why she hadn’t bathed the cat five hours after the set appointment time. Not only did the owner not bathe the cat, she also left the cat sitting in her small carrier for the entire day, obviously not even giving the cat access to litter. The store is entirely unprofessional every time I have been inside, and the staff being unable to complete their jobs at the agreed upon time ensures that I will not return, and will advise anyone I know to steer clear.

My first visit went smoothly. The staff were friendly and my dog appeared to have a good time. He came home smelling clean.

Our first time bringing my kitten didn’t go well, they sent her home hours later still soaked from her bath, the owners employee who is very sweet was talked to like trash due to confusion at the register. I looked past it thinking maybe she was just having a bad day. This was a 4 hour appointment. This time we dropped her off at 2 and 5 hours later no bath, she sat in her small carrier for 5 hours no food, no water and no litter?!?! That is neglect!!! My kitten and her carrier are completely drenched in urine which leaves me no choice but to replace it. We flea bombed our home, and got the chihuahua bathed as well we prepared all day for their arrival thinking we’d be flea free tonight. I am sick to my stomach. If you have to choose between handling it yourself or coming here I recommend DIY. So disappointed.

We have been taken our dogs here on beach and camping weekends for years for doggie day care. Now when we do college visits. But this was the first time we got our dogs baths there. Our 13 year old beagle Danny got his first professional grooming of his entire life. We were worried how he’d take it. But he came out feeling and looking great and three full weeks later he’s still silky. And the shedding is way reduced. We live in Northern Virginia and Fur Frenzy is the only Doggie Day care our pets have ever been to. And we will be driving them back soon for another day while their parents go to ODU football without worrying about them

I hope I am getting my groomer's name correct as she did one of the best jobs I have seen. I have been bringing dogs for grooming for years to several places. As in most cases, you find someone and their work is amazing but as life goes sometimes that person moves on. Lee Anne did not only exactly what I wanted but far exceeded my expectations without being able to speak direct with me. My dog looks like a pup again, everyone has been stopping us and he has a bounce in his step probably due to her expert deshedding, clipping and more. I could tell she took time without just grabbing an electric shaver to save time. Anyone can do that. I am truly grateful for her and her obvious talent. I hope to have a relationship with her for years to come. The industry needs more Ike her. Most sincerely, Barbara D'Ambrosio And Magnum!

We're always pleased with the grooming and care. Our only complaint is their fine estimates, normally not a big issue unless you have something planned that day.

Made an appointment for 2pm to have my cat bathed, groomed, and nails clipped…. 4 hours later still waiting for them to finish. To top it off, they wouldn’t bath or groom him so waited for 4 hours for them to only clip a few nails. Will not return here with my other two cats.

UPDATE: The owner reached out to ensure my dog was OK and all costs related to injury were taken care of. I appreciate the responsiveness, thank you! The staff is welcoming and friendly. I chose Fur Frenzy for grooming services because I like the opportunity for socialization in a monitored environment before and after grooming or other services, and it’s a convenient location. During our last visit, my anxious dog was muzzled for nail trimming and ripped a nail out completely by snagging it, exposing the quick. I cannot be upset at the incident because accidents happen, but I am displeased with the way the situation was handled - no one told me about the injury until I came to pick him up, the wound was open, exposed, and bleeding, and the explanation of what happened was nonchalant with severity of injury downplayed as common. I called back next day to get a better understanding of the details of what happened to prepare for a vet appointment, and was told a different story than the day prior. My dog is on antibiotics to prevent bone infection, pain medication, unable to walk, and wearing a cone until nail growth appears. I’m writing this review with hopes to prevent similar situations from occurring in the future.

My mom brought in my dog over the weekend for a bath and when she brought him home he smelt amazing and he was so clean ! He was extremely happy and very playful I love the idea of having all the friendly dogs play together. Most places never got him cleaned and he never smelt this good after being bathed. I will remain taking him back everyone is extremely friendly and this place is just amazing.

The lady at the desk was very nice and helped me with my large dog get in the tub! I was not thrilled that they water down the shampoo and conditioner. I almost used a whole bottle to get a little bit of a lather on his coat. He still smelt a little after his bath. They provide shampoo, conditioner, eye wash, ear wash, a ton of sent sprays, brushes, towels, and blow drier. I did like the blow drier! Nice quality and I was able to fully blowdry my dog in half the time it normally takes me at tractor supply.

Our Akita has been groomed at Fur Frenzy for the past nine years. It is an experience she loves and I wouldn’t take her anywhere else.

I didn't know my already fluffy dog could get that much fluffier! Staff was very patient even though my doggo was a handful.

I could only give 5 stars because 10 isn’t an option. Seriously never disappointed with Kira and her SHED team. Charlie is a handful in the car so having an experienced mobile groomer is a must for us. He also hates water and hates having his feet touched but they do a fantastic job calming his fears and completing his groom in record time. I would never even consider another groomer at this point!

I scheduled an appointment for my cat and my dog about two weeks in advanced. Marked it on my calendar for 3pm. I received a reminder call one day prior, and the person I spoke with said it was for a 2 o’clock appointment. I specifically remember picking the 3 o’clock time slot at time of scheduling because I had to work until 1pm and needed time to go home and get the animals ready to go. She said it wasn’t a problem and that I could come in at 3. Took them in today at 2:45, and the lady at the front desk said it would be “one hour, 46 hours,” so I was confused and asked her to repeat that and she said 4 to 6 hours. I wish that I had known at time of scheduling that it would take so long, because I would have made other arrangements seeing as I had plans that evening that I ended up having to cancel. We called the spa around 7pm, 4 hours after their appointment time and were advised that our cat was finished, but they had not started on our dog yet and it would be about an hour. We live about 20 minutes away so we decided to head up there at 8. I went inside and was then told that they still had not started on my dog’s hair cut. He had already been bathed or else I would have just taken him and left, so I said I would just wait in my car. Finally, about an hour later, they called me and said he was finished. I went inside to get him and the owner of the spa apologized, stated that they were running behind today and that I had showed up late for my appointment. I definitely did not, whoever made my reservation obviously put me down for the wrong time. I specifically said 3PM. Anyway, they did a good job on my dog, but my cat, a long haired Persian, looks very choppy and he was still wet. I do not like the fact that my animals were essentially sitting in a strange environment for 4+ hours before they were even serviced. They are either severely understaffed or they are over-booking themselves. Unfortunately I will not be returning.

We love bringing our Hound Mix, Luna here. She gets to socialize with other friendly dogs as she waits for her turn to be groomed. When we pick her up she is so happy, clean, and smells AMAZING! We will continue bringing our girl here! Thank you to the staff for being so sweet and loving to our girl. Highly recommend this place!

All three of our dogs look immaculate every time we take them here. Some of these “negative” reviews on here about the time it takes to groom animals are ridiculous. Not all animals stay still and some are flat out violent. This of course, impacts the amount of time spent on the animal. If you want your animal done in an hour, which is unreasonable, then look elsewhere. But you’ll definitely get what you pay for. These groomers put up with a lot and very much deliver an awesome outcome. We always get what we pay for here and it’s nothing but top notch quality.

Took our cat in for nail trim and caps. They handled him perfectly and were very efficient. Excellent customer service in my opinion as well.

Cleaned my axel here in the self serve. Clean area, nice welcoming staff and they have some nice fragrances after their bath! Definitely smells like dog in there when you walk in tho I got little overwhelmed for a second.

I would like to make a suggestion for your on line booking option. If you are booked a month out you should probably block the current month dates out from being selected. This would save time on the clients end as well as yours. I tried booking an appointment for my pets next week and the system let me select a date a time. If that date and time was not available then that date should have been blocked from letting me select it. I did see some message about booking an appointment on line is not a guarantee until confirmed by the company but why offer that service if it’s not reliable? Perhaps take the option completely away and have clients call instead. Especially if it takes 8 to 9 hours for someone to reach out and state and I quote “um unfortunately we are booked with the mobile the next available would be September 13 so if you want to make an appointment for that far out you can give me a call back” end quote. The tone left on the voicemail was in my opinion, uncaring and I pretty much felt as if they could care less for new business. Mind you when I booked the appointment it was August 8th and yes September 13 is a bit far out. However, If I knew you were booked while using your on line booking option or received a call back in a timely manner then I would have been able to call another groomer and find an appointment that wasn’t so far out on the same day. The day was wasted because I didn’t receive a call until 8 pm that evening. As I stated it’s just a suggestion. Have a good day.
