Courthouse Veterinary ...were AWESOME !!! I am a breeder of teacup Yorkies and my female yorkie just gave birth to her first litter...2 dark brown and gold pups. I called around to several vets in the Virginia Beach area to have to pups examined...all the vets were booked and were unable to fit us in...everything was on short notice. I'm mean short notice... Courthouse Veterinary's staff were wonderful. I called them up explained my situation to them and they scheduled us immediately. I felt welcomed, safe and my little tea cup yorkie family received the love and the medical attention they needed. The vet staff noticed I was by myself that morning and carrying a huge crate with the mommy and the 2 pups. So a staff member was so kind to help me bring all my belongings out to my vehicle. I have set up another follow-up appointment with this awesome vet and his loving staff. I was so impressed by the professionalism and quality of care given to my little family ...I called my mom and my best friend to tell them about my new vet's service... This is something I do not usually do. So THANK YOU Courthouse Veterinary Clinic for the care you gave to my family and I.

Was the only vet available for an emergency jaw surgery the Friday before a 3-day weekend. Not to mention was very reasonable on how much it was to cost. A true blessing!

It was my first time here because we had to put our beautiful 15 yr old black lab down. My boyfriends mom has been coming here for awhile. She has nothing but good things to say about this place. They took good care of our Lilly girl. It's unfortunate that she had to be put down but she lived a full life and isn't suffering anymore. Great customer service.

Dr. Watson and his staff go above and beyond to take care of your fur babies. Mine was in the hospital and before I could call for a follow up they were calling me. They really care!!!

This vet helped my grandparents dog for 15 years, knew her by name and were always so kind. Even though our lab is gone, we will always remember how amazing she was treated at this vet.

Dr Watson has been my Vet since I worked with him at his previous hospital. He is the most amazing animal guru out there. My dogs absolutely love him. I have had a few aggressive dogs, but with him they became calm and collective. They definitely are not the cheapest, but I would never want to base the care of my kids off price. Without Dr watson and his staff, my youngest/newest pup would have died. Best Dr and Staff in the area. I drive 30-45 min to go to this clinic. Thank you for all you do!!

I cannot compliment this vet practice enough! Dr. Watson and Dr. Thomas have both been so kind, very informative, great communication and knowledge. Explained everything clearly and answered any question I’ve had. Their staff is great. I have talked w everyone in that office and each has been so sweet, I’ve had no issues. They were upfront with cost prior to doing anything. We have had our dog Cody in there several times and he has been well taken care of. No complaints. We will definitely be continuing his care here. We had taken him somewhere else before, had several issues. So very happy to have found Cody a new home :) thank you all for the TLC he has received!!!

Amazing Service! Couldn’t get an appointment at our previous vet. Called Courthouse Veterinary Clinic on Friday, had an appointment for Monday!!! The staff here is super friendly, quick to respond, and easy to work with. They took great care of my 11 year old Labrador Retriever mix and he loved them too!

I used this hospital for all my animals when Dr Bret and Dr Bret we’re here. I stayed after they sold until... I made an appt to have my 17 year old Shep mix euthanized. Our appt was at 5:00, we arrived at 4:50 and stood out side with her for 15 or 20 minutes. When we finally got inside we sat in the lobby for 10 minutes or more before they put us in a room. When the Dr and his assistant came in they told us they were going to take our girl to the back to put an iv in her foot. They said they used the iv line to make it easier for the pet and the animal. I was not happy with them taking her out of the room but what do you do? I worked at a vet hsp for 18 years and not once did we ever make a client wait that long for a room. And we never took the pet out of the room or put an iv in them. Needless to say it was not a good experience. Lucky we paid before they put us in a room. The only good thing out of this whole experience was they did let my family go out the back door. Once upon a time I loved this place and recommended it to any and every body. My pets loved the Dr’s Brett and the staff, we never had any issues until that day. Every person has an opinion and can choose who what when or where. And I choose not to use this hospital any longer.

Dr Watson is the only vet we see now. He is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He treats your pet like it is his pet and doesn't steer you wrong. They are also very compassionate when it comes time to make that ever so difficult decision. I can't say enough good things. Thank you.

I couldn't have been happier with the awesome service provided by Dr. Watson, Ashley and Joan. This morning, Saturday I was frantic to find a Vet for my dog who had scratched herself raw due to allergies. She was even crying. I called several and no one could see her. I got Ashley on the phone...she said they were closing in and hour and were full today. Then she said, please hold on. She came back and said how soon can you be here? I was shocked!! I rushed over there and waited a little bit. Our Lexie was so raw, it made me sad. After getting home with all her medication and her 2 infections, just hours later she was already feeling better. I couldn't be happier. She' actually sleeping comfortably and hardly any scratching. Thank you Dr Watson. We will be coming here from now on. So appreciative of great service!!

Dr. Watson and his staff are absolutely wonderful! We took our pitbull there for surgery about 6 months ago, we were not established patients at that time, but they made us feel like she was part of their family. We are notified of everything involved in their care and when ever there are questions they are answered in a thoughtful way and we never feel like we are being rushed. After taking our pitbull, we decided to also move our senior dog into Dr. Watson’s care. Our first visit was about a month ago and even though it’s about a 45 minute drive for us we won’t consider taking our dogs anywhere else.

Expensive$$$ Good people, but shop around if you are looking for basic services. They are professional and courteous.

Dr. Watson and associates have taken great care of our two senior canines. They have provided our little fuzees with their well care visits. Importantly, they are also there when our pets suddenly fall ill and need immediate medical assistance. Dr. Watson and staff are very kind and caring. Today, we were tasked with seeking their assistance for our 17 year old puppy, to help him cross over due to his declining health. Fortunately, we were able to get an appointment last moment. We were kindly taken in and able to say goodbye to our little JoJo with a loving and caring staff. Utmost consideration and medical attention was provided to us when it was needed the most, we are grateful. Thank you.
