If I could give this business more stars, I would! Highly recommend this business especially for those who may fly from Guam going back to the mainland. Tails of Hawaii was very responsive, accommodating and easy to work with too. We had only a few days to make the necessary adjustments to be able to support our pet flying out from Guam to Honolulu via United and Tails of Hawaii came through in a clutch! They assisted with all the necessary paperwork that would be required to ensure our pet would be able to go through the HNL airport quarantine without any issues. Though Tails of Hawaii closes at 630PM and our flight arrived after closing, the airport quarantine held onto our pet overnight until Tails of Hawaii was promptly able to pick up our pet the following morning and take him to their facility until it was time for their connecting flight. We also received photo updates via text message up until they were dropped off for their flight to the mainland. We were in constant contact days before the flight, throughout the flight and once they arrived at their final destination. A great deal of stress was alleviated working with the team at Tails of Hawaii. Only caveat I have is the registration interface on the website. There are some tricks to it, especially if you will not have a follow on address for picking up your pet but the team will easily help navigate you through the process. Would gladly utilize and work with this team in the future!

We went through a very challenging move to Las Vegas and were having a hard time finding a way to ship our pet chickens. Tail Movers found airfare (which we were unable to do) and even held our chickens overnight and got them checked into the airport and everything! They were all super nice and excited to meet our chickens I really trust them with our beloved pets. I would highly recommend to anyone making a move to the mainland who doesn't want to have to worry about extra details of shipping your pets that cannot be brought on the airline with you.

Did well and got the dogs booked in less than 24 hours. Both pets arrived safe and healthy. $$$$

Our pup always has a good time here and comes home ready for a long nap! The fun reports with pictures and a message about what your pet did that day are very worth it.

A little pricey but they took care of everything. They booked the flight for my snub nosed dog, made reservations for him at the end location as we were not takin go the same flight.

This company is 5 stars +. They took excellent care of our fur baby during our transition. He flew into LAX right after us and we was able to pick him up enroute to hotel. Thank you again, will be tell all of our military friends and battles about your team. ????

Tails of Hawaii was the connecting contact when we brought our dogs from DFW to Maui. Their service was truly 5 stars. Our dogs well being was put first. One of our dogs is not friendly with strangers but was able to trust Erica with giving him ice and calming him down during his stop in HNL. Dogs can sense good people and Tails of Hawaii has them! Thank you Tails of Hawaii!

This place beats the competition. My 1yr old pit puppy has been to other doggie daycare and Tails of Hawaii is on point with keeping all the dogs they have in their care SAFE and mentally and physically engaged. They offer so much extra services its a One-stop shop for many owners. They have swim days, grooming services, vet visits, teeth cleaning, snack/meal purchases. I highly reccomended this place!

We have 2 dogs and today was their first visit for 4 hours. It was the meet and greet. The staff have all been very kind, informative, caring and friendly. I am excited to bring our fur babies to stay at Tails of Hawaii. It seems like they will be cared for very well. I look forward to a great relationship with this company . I am impressed with the fact that it’s not just them sitting in a crate but there are activities for them too.

Tails of Hawaii is AMAZING!! They are on top of everything.. We moved to Maui 2 yrs ago and have 2 dogs (1pit mix and 1 American Pitbull). We were able to get one of our dogs over without any issue but the other one was a whole nother story. I went through EVERY airline and ways to get him here and every time I got shut down.... Until I found Tails of Hawaii!! I was so nervous about the trip and any possibility of something going wrong. Heather was so helpful and patient and made sure our dog Dirty was well taken care of!! Thank you so much for getting our family together again ♥️♥️

Riley, our groomer is fantastic! She is so good with our toy poodle and he always come out looking amazing. Unfortunately front desk service is less than stellar. Call backs, consistency of service, and just common sense things make getting our dog in for appointments very difficult.

Heather's team does a great job. They are responsive, professional, upbeat and positive and a great value!! It's a joy to do business with her in this industry. Tails of Hawaii is a great partner!

Very responsive to emails and provided a quote quickly when under a time crunch. Prices were a bit high so if you can coordinate your pets' move yourself you'll save a couple thousand bucks or so. I would recommend their services when moving to the island vice from because Hawaii's quarantine/inport requirements for pets can be complicated and result in unnecessary costs/time delays if not done to the T.

Moving two large dogs to Hawaii is no easy task. Many thanks to Heather, as she has made my dogs journey from the mainland to Hawaii a smooth experience during the pandemic. She truly cares about what you and your pets need and went above and beyond to make sure my dogs were cared for every step of the way. She comes highly recommended and anyone would be lucky to have her as their dog liaison.

Heather was a delight from start to finish! She made everything so simple & she was such a pleasure to work with! When we encountered problems with a pilot possessing a bigger than life itself ego, which in turn made our lives & my dogs lives turn upside down, Heather came to our rescue! We received our dogs in LAX with 14 minutes to spare before closing! I love Tailmovers, especially Heather!

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!! I only went with them because they are IPATA certified for international pet export. BEWARE: They are unresponsive (require multiple follow ups and never follow through when they say they will), rude, terrible at finalizing details when asked repeatedly, and kept upping our bill. They changed our quote 3 times over 5 days...the last time being when our pet had already checked in at their facility for his flight. We ended up paying $700 more than what we had agreed to when we embarked on this journey. When we tried to complain to Heather (our coordinator and coincidentally the owner of TOH), she threatened to cancel the rest of our pet's trip and either leave him in LAX where we could 'figure it out' or send him back to Hawaii. We endured so much stress and anxiety in dealing with this company - I wouldn’t wish this service upon my worst enemies. If you truly cherish your furry companion (and your own sanity), my suggestion is that you look for other options.

My yorkie terrier Koa had a wonderful Valentine's weekendat Tails of Hawaii with lots of other dogs his size the people who works there are so good with the dogs. friendly and well kept rooms , clean ...thank you for keeping my koa safe Tails of Hawaii .

The staff works so hard to meet our needs and is always friendly and accommodating! When I’m traveling I have full trust that my boy is in great hands! We have been using "Tails of Hawaii" since they first opened their doors in Waipio. They have been nothing but kind and loving to our Chihuahuas and GSDs, making sure each one was taken care of individually. Their web cam allows us (fur parents) a look into their day. I would recommend them to anyone who needs boarding or daycare.

I just took my labradoodle there for a bath. They were very sweet to him and we were in and out in an hour. Haven't tried their daycare services but I had a great experience with grooming.

They are very kind and skilled at what they do...they protect the dogs and at the same time provide safe stimulation and fun. My 3 pugs love going to visit and have been going for over 4 years now. They carefully screen the behaviors of new dogs along with proper vaccinations to protect all.

Sad that they just closed the Waipio location. That was the one I was most familiar with. Work at a local vet clinic and have really never heard of any any serious problems with their protocols or handling of dogs. Great place for my foster puppy to get out her energy.

Mimi has never allowed me to trim her nails. Initially, I took her to Petco and paid approx. $25 for trim and file. Here at Tails of Hawaii, it’s $10 plus tax for a trim and file. Groomers are always good to her, so much so that she is always excited when I park, and she goes willingly with the groomer. The Mapunapuna is close to home. A great deal & awesome service!

Always helpful and cheerful, the staff is terrific. I often forget to make regular appointments for our pet’s nail trim and don’t remember until the last minute—but they always manage to squeeze me in without hassle. Talk about reasonable pricing, too! No need to look elsewhere, especially with my difficult doggy when it comes to his nails!! Thank you, ToH!!!
