Dr. Milaresis and her staff are always helpful and responsive. Dr M. is honest and you feel assured with the treatment that your pet needs wouldn’t be anything unnecessary, never do you feel pushed into treatments you aren’t sure of. That’s important. We have had two animals we had to put down and although it is NEVER an easy ordeal the Doctor and her staff showed great care.

Really thankful I found this place. My little German Shepherd pup needed a procedure done and they did a really good job. They were very sweet and patient with her. Dr K is great.

Best veterinarian this side of the island! Dr. M is very informative and helpful. Staff is friendly and treats you like family. They really seem to care about your pets. Prices are fair.

So grateful that Surf Paws was able to fit us in on short notice! My pup was very sick and Dr. M saw her right away and got her started on fluids and meds. We’ve taken two of our rescue kittens here - great service and very kind and helpful staff. It’s kind of hard to find, you gotta go around to the side facing Keahole Street after parking.

We found Dr. M at Surf Paws the first time when our dog needed surgery. It was a stressful and emotional event, but they handled everything amazingly and treated us like family. We wouldn't go anywhere else now and trust them for everything our dog needs. Dr. M and her team are always kind and professional & don't judge if you aren't the perfect pet owner ;)

This was our first time at Surf Paws. We have been to other Vets for our other dogs but decided with our new puppy we would try Surf Paws. It was our puppy's first visit. We were warmly welcomed. The staff was super friendly and extremely helpful with all the questions we had. The Veterinarian was very thorough and gave us insight to the breed of dog we have. She answered all of our questions, and with her advice on training we left feeling very comfortable and excited for this new adventure ahead with our puppy Bailey. I highly recommend Surf Paws and look forward to our future visits.

The staff there was just super friendly and gentle with my dog even if she is a Pitt/ bulldog mix…. Usually people aren’t so quick to approach her and they aren’t so gentle with her either. I had spent so much money throughout the past few years on trying to find a vet with answers and a solution for her nuisance allergy issues. From changing her diet, walking route, bedding detergent, shampoos, aloe, sprays, steroids, testing, some bs injections for environmental allergies? All I got before was “we can run a test…” “get blood samples…” “another prescription of steroids…” all stupid selfish solutions to make money and not help my dog and I figure out what the real problem is - finally a family friend referred me to surf paws and I swear my first visit there was the best $3-400 I ever spent in my life. She stopped shaking her head, they fully cleaned her ears out, the prescription medication seems to be helping to relieve her of all the itching and yeast that plagued us for so long! I love this place and will never go back to the previous clinics .

This is a terrific place. Dr. M provides excellent care and is very personable. The staff is attentive and accommodating. They were very helpful when our last dog died (RIP), and have been great with our new dog since he was a puppy. He loves going to cisit the vet, believe it or not! The location is also convenient, and is practically across the street from a dog park.

Excellent, caring practice. I just moved here and needed to find a new vet in my area. They got me right in and each member of the staff took their time to warmly greet my dog and me. I didn't feel rushed and the vet gave me time to ask questions. Lovely practice. Glad to feel I have a group I can trust with my dog and it's conveniently located as well.

Surf Paws is the best! I’ve been to all 3 vets in Hawaii Kai, and surf paws is our favorite. The most affordable and great care! I have been wanting to get my cat’s teeth cleaned for a while now, and got a quote (from another local vet) for $1600!! I couldn’t believe it - just for a standard cleaning (no known dental issues/bad teeth). I’ve heard pet teeth care can easily cost that much. I asked surf paws, and was very pleasantly surprised to be quoted for about $400. The procedure was quick and easy, and they called (twice!) the following day to check and see how kitty was doing. Can’t ask for better than that! Thanks, surf paws!

The veterinarians really listen to your concerns and want to help your pet feel better. I have only had amazingly positive experiences at Surf Paws.

I can't say enough about them. Everyone there is very caring and compassionate and knowledgeable. They follow up with phone calls after every visit and learn each pet's name. I recently had to put my very senior dog down after excellent care by Dr. Joe and Sarah. Everyone at the hospital signed a beautiful sympathy card and each had a special message about my pup. I still have four kitties at home and will bring all of them here for care! I highly recommend Surf Paws!

Always get good pleasant service. Our dogs are happy and healthy. They clip nails, give prescriptions, give shots, etc. I like taking our dogs here.
