OUTSTANDING vet clinic with very reasonable prices for everything between a puppy's first shots to fixing broken bones. I will stop short of recommending the place because I dont want the place to get any busier! There can be a wait if you're a walk-in but its something I dont mind at all when the bill is like 1/4 of what the bill can be elsewhere (VCA). They do volume there, which is the reason for their significantly lower prices. *I LOVE BLUE CROSS ANIMAL HOSPITAL*

So i was reading the reveiws and was a little worried about all the bad reviews of the front desk receptionist. I dont know who these people talked to but i just called and she was AMAZING knowledgable and suuuuuper sweet. Do not listen to those reviews the receptionist is amazing. They do have appts but they are pretty booked out.

I love coming to vet place.. the worker are very nice and pieces not that high like it u go to other vet office u be pay I lot of money ... I went there for a full check up and get some meds too I pay like around $200. Not bad ???? I know other place cost way more then that .. great T...

I can afford this place. They really were nice and understanding when I had to put my dog to sleep. I bring all my animals here.

I have taken both of my dogs here since birth. The staff is always attentative, and welcoming. They are very busy, but always do there best to keep things moving at a good pace. They provide a full range of services, and now have an app which is very informative, and also has a loyalty points program.

Just called 7/30/19 @ 11:30 the clerk or the person answered the phone is not polite. She made me feel that I'm an inconvenience to what ever she was doing. She need to be more compassionate and more personable. I'm not calling there for fun I need help. Maybe do more paper work rather than answer the phone would work best..

I switched from a different clinic to BCAH months ago and it has saved me a lot of money for both my cats. The doctor is very knowledgeable and the staff is compassionate. They juggle the phones and the reception area amazingly well and I give them props for doing so. It is not easy to do what they do and so efficiently. Go prepared with questions for the doctor about your animal so you can make the most out of your visit. You do have to be a bit patient to wait your turn, but it is worth it. If you can not make an appointment opt for a walk in appointment. Just call in the morning to inform them & they will pull the chart. They can also give you an idea about what the ideal time would be to bring in your animal on a walk in basis.

I called to inquire about cost of treatment in order to fly domestically with Delta Airlines with my puppy and the receptionist has to be the most special person I have EVER spoken too! She kept telling me what I needed when I have Delta’s specific requirements. Your employees represent your company so hire capable ones!! This receptionist needs training on basic speaking skills, phone skills, and customer service. Wow she couldn’t answer any of my questions, couldn’t break down charges of services I needed, couldn’t take my name and number down in case there was a cancellation so I could come in sooner. Yes your service fees maybe less expensive, but that doesn’t help when your employees can’t close the deal or even set up an appointment to get the business in the door. I only gave them 1 star because I had too to leave a review or else I would’ve gave them a negative -5 stars!

Ad says open at 8Am. Takes walk-ins . Got there with a sick cat at 8:15 no doctor till after 10AM. Sat there for​ four hours no help at all. Finally made a couple of calls and found someone across the street who took her immediately. Use to use Blue Cross for years before moving neighbor islands. Office very dirty now. Will never go back.

1st The employees at the front desk were very rude. They did not explain the process well at all. I was told once I arrived and checked in to check back in one hour to see where my pet was in line. When doing so I was told to check back on another hour. After speaking in length with the initial employee over the phone she told me to try back in 30 mins. I said ok but since I was parked at a "meter" just outside, I walked back into the lobby I suppose unoticed by the initial employee and what quickly became known as a very unprofessional female veterinarian. They discussed my concern and then the veterinarian loudly said oh well "They can wait their turn"... ***Now lets be clear... I had no problem waiting once I found out the prophet procedure. But to walk in on that type of response from what is supposed to be a professional is rather appalling. I expect that from the help. 2nd There is not adequate parking for u to have to continue to wait for hours at the time. You continue to feed a meter 3rd The sanitation of the place is extremely poor. It smells when you walk in and there is pet hair everywhere. Its constantly landing on my face and body while sitting here... **** None of the employees seem to want to be at work. They all seem very bitter as if they are being forced to work here. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS DUMP TO ANYONE!!! Im sure there are much better places on the island. I only brought this pet here for a friend to get a travel certificate she had already pre paid for prior to leaving the island. Ill gladly pay for customer service ANY DAY and u won't get any of that here for sure!

Yes, its old but dont judge a book by its cover. I've been to many different pet clinics/vets. No one has cared for my pitbull the way they thoroughly do. My dog experienced horror stories from other vets that blue cross help me manage. I regret taking convinence over driving to town and doing a walk it. But now I know. I never have a problem with any staff, always treated me and my dog perfectly.

They seem to genuinely love animals here. I brought in a feral cat with a cut and they took me in even though walk-in time was over. They are very decently priced too. Definitely will be back.

Parking is impossible but the staff is really compassionate and allows you to buy flea control medication for your animals one pill at a time for those under strict budget.

DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE. My dog had a health condition they said was nothing. By the time we took her in for a second opinion with another vet, it was already too late for them to do anything. My dog died because of the Blue Cross. What's worse is that they had the tenacity to charge us for doing absolutely nothing. It's been over five years and I still hate them. DO NOT COME HERE.

It is a clinic and waits may be long but the staff are caring and great at what they do and they try and keep costs down.

Prices are great, the nurses are so sweet, and my pets LOVE Dr. Jayne! Even my two moody pets will sit still for her. I won't go anywhere else.

Our experiences here have always been wonderful. The front office girls are efficient and friendly. Dr. Jayne is caring, honest, experienced, efficient and very knowledgeable. It is so nice to be able to trust her with our Service Dog. Mahalo Dr. Jayne and staff!

I worked here in the early-mid 80s. It was always more reasonably priced, and lower-tech than most. However, it doesn't take a lot of "tech" to board a dog or a cat. In my time there, the animals were always treated well, bedding changed daily or more often if needed, special diets followed, whole place mopped down with disinfectant daily, kennels hosed down, etc. It's in an old funky 1930s or maybe even 1920s building, but it was clean.

Fair and good service. They go through appointments fast, and so the cutsie animal talk and tenderness is missing from doctors. I don't care, because I'm sure my cats don't like needles in their neck or thermometers in the butt either way (baby talk to the animal or not). The counter staff is super helpful and very eager to give you info that you need!

Blue cross is the worst too many bad experiences, this is the last for me,seeya!! ,blue cross is so run down and understaff its pitiful,i guess you get what uou pay for.
