I had to ship my dog 3 weeks early to the island. The entire three weeks was full of panic hoping whoever was taking care of her was being nice to her. Once I picked her up and met Mallory and Dawn I immediately felt at ease and peaceful. My big girl was so good. I worried she would lose weight from the stress and anxiety and not eating. But she was as healthy as can be. And loved being pet by the staff. They were so friendly and forthcoming with information over the phone and in person. I will 100% be hiring them again and 100% recommend this establishment to anybody on the island in need of boarding. I am so pleased with this kennel.

If you have military privileges, this place is great to kennel your pets!! Affordable, and the workers are so friendly!! I love taking my pets here, so do my friends.

This will be the frost and last time -PCSing. Several ladies told me this is a great place. They have used many times. Slots fill up fast so if you know you are going on vacation or pcsing get there fast.

Dropped off our 2 pets, a 14 month old German Shepherd and a 12 year old cockapoo on 9 December. No health issues ever presented with either dog, both dogs had been housed here before. Received a phone call around 1500 on Thursday evening, the 12th of December that our German Shepherd had received a scratch on his nose due to trying to get at the dog in the kennel next to his and that they had been fighting. No other mentions of issues at that time, no concern or mention of further need for treatment simply an informative call. Received a phone call at 0700 on Friday morning that our 14 month German Shepherd was found dead. Was informed by the manager of the kennel that called that they would be paying for a necropsy to determine cause of death. Receive a text message an hour later from the manager, that they could not pay for the necropsy, but would take us to whatever facility we'd like to dispose of the remains/perform necropsy if we choose to do so at our cost. The misinformation after relaying our healthy german shepherd had died while in their care was unfortunate at that point. The kennel not having anyone on duty through the night to keep watch of the dogs is another issue of angst. The necropsy revealed a mesentric torsion was the cause of death. This can be treated if recognized and caught. Due to the time to death from beginning of this issue, and the time of the phone call you can easily assume the dog was already in stress and need of help whenever they had initially noticed something wrong with him. No follow up was done though, and again not having staff there overnight led to our pup dying in extreme, recognizable pain and alone. I have zero doubt in my mind whatsoever that our dog would still be alive if he had been at a different kennel and that's my fault. I will live with that choice for a long time.

Customer service is 2nd to none! The facility is always clean and the caretakers are amazing. I'm always very comfortable with my pets being there. They are very attentive and care for my pets like they are their own.

Reasonably priced, staff is always super friendly. They remembered our dog from almost 2 years ago. Love that they let the dogs out to interact with each other. When we drive up, our dogs are always super excited, as soon as we pull down the driveway they start getting excited. We've been able to get last minute reservations with no problems.

The safest and cleanness pet boarding house in town. I m not sure they take non-DOD pets, but definitely your pets are in good hand if you are PCS in or out. Very friendly staffs and very good environment for the pets.

The MWR pet kennels are truly the best here on Oahu. All the staff know my dogs by name and are always cheerful and accommodating. Whenever my husband and I leave the island, we rest easy knowing our pets are in good hands. Beyond the great attitude of the staff, it is affordable and convenient. I highly recommend boarding here.

Amazing pet care. The employees show true connection with my dogs every time I bring them. You can make reservations within a 3 month window, and the rates are reasonable. I have been using this kennel since we first moved here in 201. We're back now, and this is still my go to kennel! I highly recommend it!

The facility is nothing fancy, but the staff are fantastic. Staff are kind and helpful, and get to know the dogs and people. Our pet enjoyed her stay and came back to us happy and tired.

This place in unbelievable. Our Canine came down with a sickness two months ago. We informed the kennel immediately since we all ready made reservations. They stated that all they would need is a letter from the vet saying that he was healthy and that he was CLEARED to board. So we ran to the vet multiple times (which costs time and money) and received the letter with a fact sheet on the sickness. The letter from the vet stated that he was clear and healthy to board. I submitted the letter to the kennel and they stated that they would get back to us. We received a phone call the day before we are to go on vacation telling us that they would not take the dog. We did what they told us to do, and they still did not accept our dog. Now we are scrambling to find another kennel to take our dog to. Completely unsatisfactory. Will not use again. By the way the dog is healthy and has no sign of sickness. Nobody at the kennel check him out, not the manager and not the supervisor.
