Family Pet Hospital Woodstock, Georgia

I visited Family Pet Hospital today with my boyfriend and we were so lucky to have them. Recently, we have adopted a 1 year old cat and noticed some swelling in right leg! We called our primary care doctor for our other cat and they were very short and not helpful. As soon as we got in contact with the Family Pet Hospital, they were helpful from beginning to end. Brittany and Bella were extremely informative and left us feel reassured that our sweet boy would be okay! Thank you to the doctors and staff for all your help. See you guys soon!!

Everyone here was super nice and took care of my baby good. They discussed the payments with me to see if it was all good. 100% Reccomend !

My cat had an accident. They were able to see him within the hour to examine. The Dr. and staff were excellent and very caring. I will become a regular at this vet!

As far as boarding your pet with them, they will over charge and charge for services they did not perform. Retrieving your pet from them is like a Benny Hill comedy. No one there knows where anything is or who did what to which dog. Make a list or take a picture of the items you bring in with your dog, otherwise you will never get them back and they will say you never brought the items in. After 2 trips there, the items were magically found. If you value your pet, do not board them here.

Took my kitten to get her stitches out. The three nurses that were there were unable to finish the job and told me I had to wait to pick her up. Once I came back later that day to pick up the kitten the staff tried to blame it on me saying i kept the stitches in the cat too long. However the day I came was the day I was told to come back from the staff…. Very unprofessional, very young staff. The male vet doctor doesn’t speak clear English. I would never recommend this veterinarian office to family or friends

If I didn't get a second opinion my cat would be dead. I took my cat here on Saturday night in an emergency situation, she was vomiting blood and her face was swelling. She had mild cold symptoms on Friday and was given one dose of azithromycin. Saturday she started going down hill so fast that we took her in Saturday night (since my vet was closed). I brought in the pills she took, I have them detailed information about symptoms, I asked repeatedly if she could be having an allergic reaction to them. After running two complete blood panels and then taking x-rays (they thought she had something stuck in her nose) the Dr. sent me home with a $1000 bill and 2 cans of wet food. No diagnosis. Dr. Thulluri was the attending vet, he suggested it was a virus or maybe poison, he didn't know, but he was glad they did the x-ray to find out it was a stick up her nose. He told me to give her the second dose of antibiotics originally prescribed by my vet, because, that definitely didn't cause her face to swell, stomach lining to thicken, and blood vomiting. Luckily, I listened to my intuition and syringe fed my cat small doses of water and food and did home care until Monday when I could take her back to my vet. They immediately diagnosed her as having a severe allergic reaction to the antibiotics! I asked Dr. Thulluri over and over again if that was the cause, this pill was the only thing that had changed from Friday to Saturday and I was assured by him that it was impossible. I feel like I was robbed shamelessly by this clinic, Dr. Thulluri had absolutely no idea what he was doing. He saw a scared cat mom and took complete advantage of me for their financial gain. If you love your animal DO NOT COME HERE.

Great Vet and friendly staff. Dr. Skees has been treating our pets for many years. I highly recommend him!

Dr. T’s diagnosis and treatment plan got our dog back to her old self again, and his explanations of test results made sense. This office is not as corporate as some other places and didn’t upsell a bunch of services. The staff cares, and the calming fish tank in the lounge was appreciated. We will return.

Family pet they treat our dog with love. He likes going there.

My Rocky is a very healthy dog. He's never been to the doctor outside of his annual exam and shots. On Sunday, Rocky became very sick. He was constantly vomiting, and had diarrhea with a lot of blood in it. I called Family Pet Hospital, and they told me to bring him in. He was treated, given medication, and I brought him home. I couldn't get Rocky to eat or take the medicine, so his condition didn't get any better. By Tuesday, I called them again, they told me to bring him in right away. They admitted Rocky, said he would be there 3 days. After 2 days, Rocky was better and ready to go home. He's been home a day now, and is doing great. The staff has been so great answering any questions I have. The Dr's were great too. My special thanks to Dr. Skees

Blown away! The vets and staff are absolutely amazing. They care more than any other vet I have been to. I am so thankful for making the change for my older golden. I will never go anywhere else. Brittany at the front goes above and beyond. So thankful for this pet hospital!!

Have been dog sitting for my friend who’s in Italy , somehow he cut his paw badly and it’s requiring stitches, sedation antibiotics, they took him in immediately and are working with us on the bill …. Awesome place would definitely recommend

We took our pup, Adalynn, there tonight & the experience was absolutely amazing. Our sweet girl was very sick, & even with covid, they let us right in & took our baby back immediately getting her on fluids. The staff just LOVED on her, took turns holding & sitting with her in the back. One didn’t want to let her go! It was so sweet. To go into an ER with your pup is not at all fun but they really went above & beyond. The place is so clean & polished. It’s funny, I feel like a lot of vets over do it with decor (they are remodeling) BUT honestly they could keep it exactly how it is & I don’t even mind! Where it counts is the people & doctors! From the first phone call they were amazing & there was NO wait! Which is just life saving when it’s your dog, you want in immediately. So thankful to everyone there & we will always go back if needed!!!

Came back from vacation to find a kitty health emergency. Called on Sunday AM and was offered an immediate appointment. Appeared 15 minutes early and kitty was seen immediately. One hour from walking in the door, two injections received and blood panel (with no issues) was completed. Kind, super professional staff. Reasonable fees. Thank you for the excellent experience!! ❤️❤️❤️

Charged me $1096 for treating a bite wound, and when I decided not to use their services they charged me $75 for an exam fee. The vet tech took my dog to the back as soon as I started filling out paperwork, and I was separated from her the entire time. They did not even shave any hair around the wound to examine the cut properly, which makes me wonder if they even examined her at all. I took her to another vet in Kennesaw and they charged me $160 for the services, including medicine. I was able to accompany my pet while discussing the options. If you love your dog and also value your hard earned money, don’t go here. Edit (in response to owner reply): That’s because my last name has changed since I first visited this vet (which charged $450 for my other dog’s yearly checkup)

Thank you for working with my budget. I know that Scarlet is in good hands every time she is there. We are so thankful for all of you.

Had to use their services late on a Saturday night, and a difficult choice had to be made, they were very kind and professional.

I found this clinic a year ago. We had excellent experiences with this clinic. We were served by a very professional and kind doctor and a very experienced team. I suggest you to use the experiences of this clinic. blessings and wishing the best Simba & Maya’s family ❤️

So many good things to say about this office! The first being that they have secured a future as our vet and a vet we will GLADLY recommend to anyone that needs vet care. Frelinda in the office was the first to greet us, and while she was busy, she made it extremely easy to get checked in and comfortable. The next thing I can say is that Sarah and Hayden were amazing with the animals I saw, and with my baby. Sarah took my report, listened in, and took my boy back to see the doctor. Dr. Thulluri is a phenomenal vet! He worked with me so I could get the treatment needed for my dog. I'm on day 2 since seeing them and my dog's symptoms have gotten much better already. I ended up having some questions that they had no issue answering on the phone for me. This office is the place to go if you need vet care! I won't be looking for another vet, they live up to their name!

Very thankful for their hours of business! We found ourselves in a pickle, and they were able to help us on short notice. The service was excellent (our pup approved) and good value. Friendly and professional; would highly recommend.

My new puppy Butter ate a bird and they were very quick and responsive to her needs. Reasonable prices and very fair.

Hours are wrong.. tried to show up at 11pm and they were closed, please fix this.

I have decided to bring all my pets hear. This place has not only helped me when I needed it most but they have bent over backwards to make me and my pets feel like there part of the family. I would recommend them to anybody looking for a new place to take your pets. It has been a truly wonderful experience so far bringing my dogs to family Pet Hospital on hwy 92 in woodstock. They really are the best!! No where else will you find a better pet hospital that cares for your baby!! It was on a Sunday it was an emergency and needed attention immediately!! my cat his name is Kai. He wasn’t eating or drinking water and couldn’t Urinate and defecate. He had blockage and needed urgent surgery. Dr. T did everything needed to save my Kai!! My Kai is getting better day by day!! Family Pet Hospital treated our baby Like family ! They went above and beyond to help him. Very kind and very informative all the time. 10/10 I will recommend to everyone !! Professional and friendly staff !! Thank You Again Dr. Thulluri !!

My dauchund was having trouble using her back legs in alot of pain. This vets office was very helpful treated my esa like she was my child. They have an amazing payment plan option to help your pet. I would definitely recommend these folks

Had the best experience at this vet! We needed to get our pup Luke in for a quick vaccine update and they were able to get us in on Easter fast and quickly. the staff and vet were all so friendly and helpful as well! I really appreciate them getting us in and would highly recommend going there to get you babies treated!

My wife and I took our dog to Family Pet Hospital and are very glad we did. He was barely able to stand or walk and shaking from hip pain. The doctor and staff treated our baby as if he was their own. They were very kind and kept us informed continuously. Look at reviews when taking your furry child to any vet and remember you won't be in there with them. It's your child, pay attention to the reviews. I'm glad we did. Shelton's mom & dad
