Dr Wolfe and his staff are kind, caring people. I am so thankful we discovered this wonderful vet!! We spent Christmas Eve and day in Savannah at the emergency vet. When I called Dr Wolfe for follow-up appointment, the staff were so kind to let me go ahead and bring Necco for a drop-off appointment. Even though it was early and the staff were already busy, Dr Wolfe went ahead and looked at Necco. He was very attentive to my comments and showed concern for Necco. He told me to leave Necco and that he would take care of him. I came back to pick Necco up that afternoon and not only did Dr Wolfe remove the 2 bleeding skin lesions, he removed all of them that would eventually become an issue. We are so thankful for Dr Wolfe and his staff. Since moving to his business 6 months ago, we have had nothing but positive experiences.

This guy was rude and condescending. He couldn’t get past that I didnt remember the month my dog got his rabies shot and began lecturing me on pet ownership. I’m not going to pay exorbitant prices to experience that.

I don’t even know where to begin. I have never in my life met a man with such an ego and as much condescension as I did coming here. I came because my dog was loosing a lot of weight and I felt needed more medication for her pain management, as well as she was breathing weird and labored. The whole time I’m talking to this man, it’s as if he’s hardly listening to a thing I say. He finds nothing wrong with her, claims her breathing is fine, gives me new medication and sends us on our way, tells me she’s fine, her boniness is normal. Mind you she’s lost two pounds in the past month and she’s only three, has had a hard time eating. No tests and no x-rays were done. To be fair, she did just have blood work done about two weeks ago, but with the effort it was taking her to catch her breath one would think common sense would say she would at least need a chest x-ray. Over the week her breathing got even worse and I had to rush her to the emergency vet in Savannah. My dog is now currently in an oxygen chamber fighting for her life, with a horrible prognosis. If I could give a worse rating I would, I do not recommend this place, and I honestly don’t see how it has the reviews it does. *update* my dog passed away last night.

My Jay boy loves his visits to University Animal Hospital ❤️. He never really liked vet visits, but ever since i switched over you University, he truly can’t wait to go. Highly recommend Dr. Wolfe as well.

Brought my dog here due to my normal vet not having any available appointments and I needed to get him in. Dr. Wolfe saw him and treated us like we were family. I will be taking all my dogs here from now on!

Dr. Wolfe is very professional and compassionate.. does not sugar coat anything and does not recommend products or tests that are not necessary. Prices are fair and competitive! I definitely recommend going to University Animal Hospital.

Could not ask for a better veterinarian for my fur babies. Dr Wolfe and his staff always go above and beyond for my pets. Very thorough and addresses each concern that I may have.

Vet was curt and condescending. Didn't get a full exam because the vet had to leave, but was still charged the full exam fee. Was not allowed to go to an exam room with my pet. I had other concerns but was unable to get them addressed.

Wonderful service very professional always wouldn't go anywhere else.

Absolutely the best and most caring Vet in town.

They don't let anyone inside with pet they send tech out to get them. Then the dr comes out after done with pet gives you information about your pet. Dr answered all my questions and girls at window they are very kind and they also answered my questions. I would and have told others about the hospital. Lady ran up to window saying they had emergency they took dog right back and dr came back out and spoke with them. These two had exam n shots.

Great and caring service... Not out to just run up a bill, but actually care about making your animals well.

Beware of this place because they are quick to run your bill up and rip you off. I took my dog there to get eye surgery and to be neutered after a previous vet told me he needed surgery on his eyes. Well I get there and Dr. Wolfe tells me that my dog did not need eye surgery and didn't know why another vet told me otherwise. I thought then that Dr. Wolfe was trustworthy and looking out for our best interest but apparently I was wrong. I get there to pick my dog up after his neuter and Dr. Wolfe had my bill ran up with added services that he performed that he DID NOT ask for permission to do. I personally feel that he wanted to still make the money that he would've made for doing the eye surgery. It is absolutely wrong and unprofessional to charge someone for services that they did not ask for and then not even take the charges off for their mistake. I will not be doing business with them again or recommending anybody to them. If you do use them be prepared for your bill to be incredibly high.

I love the veterinarian Dr.Wolfe. The customer service with the front desk isn't the greatest. My dog is almost 2 years old, and his picture still hasn't been updated to a current photo, not even on his shot record card. The groomers questioned if it's really him that his current shot card represents. Very disappointed..

These people really take care of our pets. They love animals and it shows.
