This place is amazing. Have been taking our dogs there for years. Our oldest dog just passed and they sent us a card, with everyone writing sweet messages. It means more to me then they know.

Have always had a great experience with my dogs check ups. Keep to schedule with appointments. Make quick visits for allergy shots. We’re in and out and seem to really care about the animals.

They do not answer phones, emails or voicemails. They do not return contact.

Good customer service so far. They’ve done a great job treating and taking care of our two cats. The only complaint I have is that their phone line only seems to work half the time. Sometimes my call will go through but the other half, I get a busy signal (no voicemail) or an error message saying my call can’t be completed. Sometimes it just sounds like my call got disconnected altogether. Not sure what the issue is, but I’d like for them to fix it soon!

Dr. Ponce takes such good care of my Killer. She doesn’t let his little vicious 3lb chihuahua self imitate her. She also makes sure you understand everything that is going on and that is going to happen. I 100% recommend Windy Hill Vet!!!!!

How are you going to have a sign on your door saying please stay in your car and call the office and we will come grab your pet for your visit and not answer your phone? We had an appointment scheduled at 4 and waited in the parking lot for 30 minutes calling over and over only to get a busy signal and voicemail. We noticed one other car in the parking lot so you couldn’t have been that busy and a tech walked past our car and did not acknowledge us. Luckily my cat doesn’t have anything severely wrong with her but this is unacceptable.

Another review said the exact same thing but... They are great for scheduled routine visits. When it comes to emergencies, they seem to not care at all. My dog threw up all through out the night and then started throwing up blood in the morning and they could not fit her in to there schedule and asked if I wanted to set up an appointment a week and a half away. I ended up taking her to Blue Pearl vet since it was a Saturday and then, Monday, my dog was starting to get sick again. Called. They didn’t even answer. We ended up switching to Tree House animal clinic and they fit her in the same day and took excellent care of her!

I would never bring my pet here after the way I was treated on the phone.

What can I say, I love this place. My baby Georgia suffers from anxiety, stress and she is aggressive. Even though all that, they make her feel so comfortable here. Dr. Rottersman and her team are the best. They take care of our pets, understand our concerns and always take the right decisions. 100% recommended.

Updating my post to add more info: Can't say enough good things about Dr. Hunter and the staff. Very accommodating, knowledgeable, and friendly. Truly thankful for all they have done for our crazy dogs!!

Dr. Rottersman and her staff are the absolute BEST. I visited a few practices before I made the switch in 2016 - and I couldn’t be more thankful every time I walk through their doors. Dr. R is extremely knowledgeable, patient and thorough. She never makes you feel rushed and she takes the time to answer each and every question with expertise and confidence. I moved a few years back and still make the trip to their office for all four of my pups (about 30 minutes one way) because her staff is just that GREAT. For me, my pets are a part of my family. Caring for your pets can be expensive (especially when unexpected things occur) and their prices are very reasonable. I can't recommend Dr. R and her staff enough!

If you are looking for a veterinary clinic that provides quality care both during regularly scheduled appointments and potential emergency situations, this is NOT the place for you. My husband and I recently moved to the area and have been looking for a vet that we feel like genuinely cares about the well being our our two dogs. Price is one factor we evaluate, but level of care is what we value most. We have had two appointments with Dr. Ponce at Windy Hill Vet and during the appointments have felt that our concerns (allergies & general questions) have been addressed and adequate service has been provided. HOWEVER, today I contacted Windy Hill Vet to speak with Dr. Ponce because our Labrador ate an entire bag of dog food and was exhibiting signs of severe bloat and lethargy. I was told by one of the receptionists who said she spoke with Dr. Ponce, that the doctor was double booked and would not see our dog. Furthermore, there was no inquiry about her symptoms, there was no offer to get her an appointment with another doctor at the clinic, there was no offer to refer her to a doctor at a different clinic, there was no level of care or concern given. Period. I was completely dismissed and told if I “really felt” it was an emergency I could “consider” taking her to an emergency vet clinic (and of course, pay double the price of a normal vet). I am so thankful that I went with my gut and got her in with a completely new vet (who was also booked for the day). This vet, who wasn’t even our dog’s primary, got her in within an hour of us calling and gave our girl the care and attention she deserved, even with a full schedule. She was diagnosed with extreme dehydration and bloating which could have been deadly, had I acted as passively as the technician that took my call. If you are looking to establish a relationship with a vet that provides peace of mind that your animal will be given the highest level of care (even when you may not have called 3 weeks in advance to get an appointment), I warn you- this is not the place for you. Cumberland Animal Clinic and Cobb Parkway Emergency & Referral came through for our family when we needed it most and we couldn’t be more grateful.

My cat, Myrtle, has to get regular ultrasounds and the vet I work for doesn't offer in house ultrasounds. When I asked around for recommendations, Windy Hill Veterinary Hospital was highly recommended. I first brought Myrtle to Windy Hill around April/May of this year and have been going about every month or two. The first few visits, we saw Dr. Hunter. The last few, we have seen Dr. Ponce. Both are excellent, knowledgeable, kind doctors, who I strongly recommend. They are also good with my Myrtle. With doctors other than the ones I work with, she usually gets a feline herpes flare up(triggered by stress). She has never had a flare up after a visit here. Their support staff is also amazing. I think the thing that supports my claim most is I never feel nervous about bringing Myrtle here and trust both the doctors we have seen and the supportive staff to appropriately handle her without my assistance. I am extremely overprotective of Myrtle due to the severity of the illnesses she has been through while also being immunocompromised, so this means a lot! Something also important to note is they are ranked Cat Friendly by the AAFP, which cat owners know is important! All this being said, I highly recommend Windy Hill Veterinary Hospital, especially Dr. Ponce and Dr. Hunter! Thanks, you all! We will see you all sometime soon!

My toy poodle hurt her leg badly while visiting from Chicago. Called to see if someone could take a look at her before we traveled home that evening. Was placed on hold for several minutes then, when we explained the situation 1) they didn’t ask a single question about her injury 2) said their next available appt wasn’t until Oct and 3) didn’t suggest another location since they were unable to accommodate. Thankfully, the very next vet we called with high reviews on Paces Ferry asked a few questions and agreed to squeeze my poor girl in that very afternoon.

My pets have been seeing Dr Rottersman for more then 20 years. I drive more then 30 miles one way. I have nothing but the utmost confidence in Dr Rottersman’s diagnosis and treatment of my pets.

Was super excited to bring my dog here, as it was close to my home and had good reviews. Too bad my dog was never seen because the lady scheduled my appointment wrong and she never apologized or took ownership for doing so nor did anyone there make an attempt to accommodate my dog. I confirmed with the lady several times while on phone the date and time. I keep a strict schedule; I record dates both electronically and in a written planner. I scheduled my whole day around making sure I got to this appointment because of concerns about my dog’s eyes. Mind you Bailey (believe that’s her name) finally called me back (while I’m still sitting in their parking lot in disbelief of the whole situation) and she says, “you were scheduled for Monday December 7th @ 4PM. First off, in my profession Monday is the most hectic day for me, so no chance I would ever schedule anything on a Monday, especially towards end of the year. I felt push to the side like my business wasn’t even wanted and no concern about my dog well-being.

If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. Everyone in this office truly cares about your pet. We had only come here for the first time in January to do standard checkups for our 2 cats. Last Thursday, one of my cats became very ill and we showed up right as they opened without an appointment. They took us back immediately and we saw the vet, Stephanie Foster, within a few minutes. She knew very quickly that my cats condition was more severe than they were equipped to handle and referred us to go to a nearby emergency vet but still got started with scans and bloodwork. Later that day, they called to check up on us and again the following day. Stephanie has personally called us multiple times after finding out we were unable to save our cat. She has showed us such compassion and care, we are so happy to have chosen this practice.

I relocated to the Marietta area last year with an older kitty who has a number of issues. I was really concerned about finding a quality vet to replace his last one. After trying a few other locations, we landed here and I couldn't be happier. All of the staff are so understanding, comforting, and caring - towards the animals AND the humans! They go out of their way to ensure you are well-informed about what's going on & all of your options. As long as we're here, this is our vet.

I can not say enough great things about this place!! Everyone I have met/talked on the phone with has been so friendly and knowledgeable. We took in a stray cat earlier this year and finally got him to trust us to take him to the vet - I was VERY nervous because he is so skittish and scared of everything. Dr. Ponce was so great with him and has such a calm and relaxed demeanor that eased my nerves and my cat's! AND CALLIE - she is so amazing and I can not thank her enough for treating my kitty with such love and warmth. I moved away from this vet but I will continue to make the longer commute because of how great the service is. Love you guys!! Rachael

The people here are amazing. They're genuine and caring and clearly have my pets best interests in mind. I recently had to put my cat down and not only did they help me through the decision, but made the process as painless as possible. They fit me in on a day where they were completely booked and just did everything right. I'm a customer for life.
