Google needs to allow negative stars. This location is exhausting (much like every other Banfield)....not sure why every time you call you are put on a 10 minute hold....in addition to that, they have veterinarians that "call out" often which slows things down as well and forces them to reschedule people. Not sure they realize (or care) that they are dealing with peoples pets here so its not ideal to have to move appointments around if they really need to be seen. Is there not an office manager or someone that cares about service around? I've taken my pet here for years and rarely have an enjoyable experience. Currently on hold with a different location. 10 minutes and counting....pathetic.

I love doctor Greggs at this location. But I called 20 minuets before closing because I keep getting vaccine reminders for my dog that passed away. I was placed on hold and left on hold until AFTER CLOSE when after being on an extended hold I hung up and tried to call again I was sent to the voice-mail. I work in veterinary medicine and it's just unprofessional. All I wanted was to stop getting vaccine reminders for my deceased pet.

This was the worst place I have ever been too. They refused treating my dog, because I had no appointment. And not soon after that my dog passed away. I won't take any of my dogs to them. I have a video of my encounter with this horrible business I would love to share it. This star is on here because I had to put it.

I set an appointment for my dog a month in advance so that my pup wouldn’t have to be dropped off and I could stay with her because she has some anxiety issues. Once I arrived they told me it would be at least an hour before she could get seen and they wanted me to just leave her. My appointment was at 2. They called and told me to come back around 5 to get her which was bad enough because it was 3 hours later but once I arrived I had to wait another 3 hours for her and was the last one there as they had closed. My vet was rushing and didn’t even have any information about my dog. I was furious about the whole thing and my dog was traumatized. Do yourself a favor and go to a REAL vet and not this turn and burn facility that doesn’t care about your animal.

Been on hold trying to make an appointment for over 25 minutes. They push the wellness plan and it’s a good value but I can’t ever use it because it is like pulling teeth to speak to someone to make an appointment.

My fur baby has to go to boarding school on Friday and his vaccine report was not updated properly. I spoke to Victoria and she fixed everything right away! Amazing customer service! I wish I could speak with her every time! Victoria thank you caring for our fur babies the way you do!

My dog has been going to this location for about 2 -3 years. Things have been pretty good up until my appt yesterday. I dropped my dog off yesterday morning for his normal comprehensive exam. I left some notes for the doctor upon drop off for concerns I had for my dog. I was called that afternoon around 3:30 pm saying he was ready for pick up. I got there around 4:30, paid and waited for my dog to come out. I had no problem waiting, however after 40 mins of waiting and seeing people that came to pick up after me getting their dogs and talking to the doctor, I went back to the front desk to see if maybe they forgot about getting mine. The front desk lady said I notified them you were here a while ago, let me go back and get him. She brought him right out. I told her I was hoping to speak to the doctor about concerns I had on my dog that I left notes on that morning. She went to the back and came out and dryly said the doctor can’t talk to you now, you’ll have to wait for a while. I was puzzled. For one, I had literally waited over 40 mins, and secondly, I literally watched the doctor come out and talk to each and every individual picking up their pups since I had been sitting in the lobby area. She was so nice to them, very attentive, which made me more patient to wait the 40 mins in the first place. I could not understand what made my pick up any different. The office closed at 5 and we were well beyond that time. I asked if she could call me perhaps. The front desk lady said yes and of course, I haven’t heard back. I get that it gets busy, but the level of customer service yesterday made me feel a certain way. I will say I never had that there before, always good experiences in the past. It just made me question why I was not given the same level of customer service as the other people I seen picking up. I honestly think it was an honest mistake that I waited there that long, and I get it, close to closing hours, mistakes happen. But the interaction for me for just asking the status of my dog after waiting 40 mins, and then being shunned by the doctor made me upset. All it takes is 1 rude experience. My dog will not be going back to that location.

I’m new to Atlanta but not to band field. This was one of thee worst experiences EVER. One nurse vet in particular was not friendly AT All and seemed as if she did not want to be there. Her energy she gave off was so terrible that I actually did not want to leave my dog there let alone have her touch my dog. I insisted I speak w the vet but she said I would not be able to and that she was thee “Vet Nurse” so I could just tell her what the problem is w my dog. I did so and honestly did not wAnt to leave my dog but the next availability isn’t until August 18th. I never write reviews that how disgusted I am. You need happy people at the front desk. I will never bring my dog to this location ever again.

Straight trying to upsell unneeded treatments. Said my dog never had a rabies vaccine while she has a rabies vaccine tag around her neck. Wanted to sell me a preventive treatment for heart worms but said she already had them. Someone please explain that to me. Never going to return to any Banfield locations

My dog was seen for a glucose curve that was not handled properly by the doctor on duty. His insulin dose was changed 2 times in day. Is this location so busy that it cannot handle it's pet volume and makes sure to overcharge patients? This is unacceptable. I was charged $201.89 out of pocket even with the Special Care plan of $56.00 a month and a 20% discount. The manager refused to come to the phone and sent word that she cannot do anything about this.

I did not take my doggie there, but I found 2 doggies running free on P'tree Dunwoody Rd/Roswell Rd with only the vet name and rabies tag. I called and they were able to track down the owner and we reunited them! Thank God the doggies were safe!

I will never visit this location or suggest this place to anyone. I made my appointment 2 weeks prior and was put down as a drop off which was never explained to me at all and was also an extra charge. They also wanted to add extra charges such as a charge for not having a wellness plan which was an extra $30!! This info was also not given to me when I made the appointment. Overall, watch out for this place..they try to tack on extra charges and they lack communication!!

This Banfield is HORRIBLE! They never have availability and they are not consistent across the board. They are only 10 minutes from me and I opt to drive 30 minutes to another Banfield because the service is much better.

Banfield isn’t necessarily getting this review, but STEPHANIE (spelling) is! Her customer service is through the roof and her ability to work with my fur baby was phenomenal (he can be a handful ????)! To Banfield: she is absolutely hands down the best employee you have!!!

I've been taking my cat Bonnie here since she was 13-weeks old. A good friend of mine recommended Dr. Z. Since he has moved locations, I've been seeing Dr. Barnes and she is fantastic as well. I've never had any problems. Note to everyone leaving bad reviews due to covid protocols: all you have to do is call when you arrive in the parking lot and they'll tell you when to walk up to the door to drop off your pet. I admit corporate and the website could do a better job explaining this, it was a little confusing at first. But I don't see this as being an issue with the staff at all. They're just trying to keep themselves and US safe!! I was there today for a regular comprehensive exam and some vaccines. A few hours later, my cat couldn't stop vomiting. I called as I was instructed to do so and they told me to come back in. They treated her and she's doing fine now. My main reason for writing this review is to commend Maury who was SO sweet and did such a good job putting me at ease when I was (internally) FREAKING OUT. They seemed pretty busy (Friday) but I felt that Maury really cared about helping me which meant so much! Maury: I hope you see this! Thank you! I hope you get that vacation soon - YOU DESERVE IT!

My Cooper loved Dawn. We are new to the area and she made us feel confident that our little man was in good hands. She explained everything that needed to be addressed and gave him extra love and attention. Thank you! We will be back to see Dawn!

I have never had a bad experience with Banfield but since the covid and safety protocol the drop off and pickup is awful. The wait time is much longer to drop off and today 10/29/2020 During drop off appointment the vet tech slipped on the single leash and proceeded to walk inside but let the leash drop and my dog began running up the busy intersection Cumberland blvd. I think a better protocol should be put in place, Instead of outside but inside the lobby because this could have ended tragically. Please retrain and hold the tech accountable for this terrible accident. Everyone make sure your fur baby is safely leashed for drop off and pickup.

Banfield did a wonderful job. I forgot the Dr. Name but she told me exactly what was going on with my Rosco leg. I will definitely recommend this facility.
