First of all my husband and i have always had an amazing experience every time we bring in our babies, the techs and drs are amazing but there seems to always be a problem with one of the ladies that works behind the desk! her name is Jeri she is very rude and unprofessional like im ruining her day by bringing in my animals or asking her questions. One day i saw a lady crying in front saying jeri was rude and hurt her feelings… if anyone comes in maybe just safe to avoid going to her with any questions or anything

I live in hinesville. My husband and I drove all the way to savannah to drop of our dogs for boarding for the weekend. We get all the way there, and they tell us our dogs are not vaccinated. This is not what the records say at our vet. They never let me know ahead of time that we needed vaccine. I will not use them for boarding again

So nice and I was able to get a new patient appt same day! They know how to treat the stubborn Savannah fleas, and worked with my budget to get my dog the care she needed. Everyone from the reception to Dr. Woehrmann in the exam room was kind to me and my dog. I won’t go anywhere else from now on!

My 20 year old dachshund was very ill and I honestly thought it was “time”. Dr Sparks and the staff at VCA went above and beyond to help my old guy and he is well on his way to recovery. I cannot say enough about the entire staff there. They truly care about animals and it shows. Through the years they continue to impress me with their outstanding care. My old man Deiter is alive because of them!

Dr.Woehrmann and the entire staff here are amazing from receptionist to technician. They are always kind and patient with my pup Chaplin, even though he is difficult and misbehaves every visit.( he is over 100 Lbs and not very social ) They understand that Chaplin is a member of my family and provide him with the best care possible. Thank you VCA team.

if you would like to be ghosted in your moment of need this is the vets office for you. i brought my dog, who has been a patient of theirs before, in because he was coughing up blood. they insisted that he would need to be sedated to be examined, which i was skeptical about since he was 16 years old and sedation is risky. they sent me to an emergency vet who examined him without issue or sedation and found a tumor in his throat. they recommended euthanasia and i opted to wait for VCA to reopen the next day to make the appointment with them as they are who he has been seen by before and i wanted him to be comfortable. I called at 8:30am, almost as soon as they opened, and was left on hold for so long it transferred me to voicemail. i explained the situation and let them know the emergency vet had also sent over his chart with all this information. they never called me back. i called two more times in a panic because his condition worsened through the day and each time i was told they'd call me back in just a few minutes with information and they never did. a full day has passed and my poor dog is still in pain and coughing blood and they have not returned my calls. while i liked them when i first brought him, they clearly cannot be counted on for a serious situation. would not recommend for anything more than a simple checkup. To Update: The manager called me several days later to ask me if I would still like my dog to be seen. At this point he had passed away. I expressed my anger and was met with uncertainty and defensiveness from them as to how this lapse happened. Today, a month later, they called me Again to "return my call about my dog." He passed away a month ago, which they should already know. When I tried to explain this to Dr Sparks on the phone I was interrupted and told "that was handled on our end" and yet she insisted she was returning my call about my dog, who has been dead for a month. Wholly unprofessional.

I am giving a one-star review for the friendliness of the nurses, but my recent experiences have been unpleasant to put in kindly. My 18-year-old cat has been coming here for 7 years. She developed a limp and her veterinarian was unable to determine the cause, so she referred her to an orthopedic surgeon. After two “examinations" with our vet from VCA and one "examination" by the surgeon at the second location, they claimed they would need to do additional leg x-rays and perhaps a CT scan if they couldn’t determine the cause. I asked both clinics if they examined her pads and claws as I believed that was the issue. I was told she was too combative to examine and I suggested slightly sedating her to do so. They claimed they couldn’t sedate her because they wouldn’t be able to determine the source of the pain, which directly contradicts their previous statements. I was presented with a quote for $2,800 for the diagnosis. This did not include aftercare or surgery. At this point, I had already spent a total of $850 between both clinics with no diagnosis. After taking her home and examining her paw myself, without the use of sedatives I might add, it was discovered that two of her claws were severely infected. This should have taken an experienced, or inexperienced, professional minutes to determine. The physicians are either inept or didn't care enough to properly examine my injured 18-year-old feline that simply needed a heavy dose of antibiotics. The quality of service has tremendously decreased over the years and as a result, I will not be returning.

This veterinarian office is very fair priced. I though the dog was pregnant, and the vet included an ultrasound in the visit the first time; then I went back again for an x ray, and the costs is a third of a price than other vets. I called around because I’m new in town, and we’ve been to three different vets, not including the humane society for shots. When we first moved here the dog had diarrhea, and the doctor at vca told me right away it was the Blue Buffalo. I switched foods’ brand and voila! That’s why I went back and I have a feeling this will be my go to place. Affordable, knowledgeable doctors, and excellent costumer service from beginning to end. Thank you from ???? Dulce the Goldendoole, and myself!

The receptionist kept hanging up on us. We wanted to bring in an our injured animal but we were put on hold and eventually just hung up on every time. Updating my review: The manager reached out to me to make things right and I am so impressed. I have never experienced a company care to this level. I will definitely continue to bring my pets to VCA.

From start to finish, this place is the best! Kate got us scheduled quickly and was very helpful. Kaitlin and Jeri were quick and very polite, and not with just me, but everyone they spoke with who passed through the lobby and on the phone. Lexi was extremely sweet and gentle with both of my pets. She explained everything in great detail so I would be completely informed. Dr. Crider put together a plan for both of my pets and explained everything so I wouldn't have any questions. Lexi went over everything again to make sure that I understood all of the instructions and future care options.

We looked all over Pooler savannah area and lucky was pointed to them by the humane society. We sadly had to put our cat to rest but they worked with us every step of the way. I've never seen a nice vet office. I've lived in the carolinas most of my life. I will be telling everyone about them.

They are the bomb! They do treat your fur babies like their own! They follow up on your babies to make sure they are ok. Their facilities are spotless and they have a fenced in area where your babies can go potty away from traffic. Big thing is they dont try to sell you stuff you don't need. I highly reccomend them and we have 3 fur babies (dogs) we take there. And prices are reasonable. Plus they explain things in understandable terms!

I cannot praise Dr. Woehrmann enough, such a great vet! However, after years, I think it’s time to move on to another vet. I believe, because of covid, everything is done outside, but the phone number is a pain: you call and sit on hold and wait outside forever. I just recently spayed my cat (a second cat spayed at VCA, 5 years apart) and shelled out a fortune. How am I able to adopt a cat for a $100 fee including spaying, deworming, first round vaccinations at a shelter, but almost $500 for a spaying at VCA? This time around, I paid extra for some vaccines she was due for, but still! Now instead of being given this paperwork in a comfortable setting with an explanation to every listed “fee” a tech rushes out to your car and speaks vet gibberish while you’re trying to hold your animal in the car, decide on a whim what you want done (and what you can afford), all while adding the sums up in your head bc they, of course, only have some printed out sheet. The most frustrating part was picking her up, the vets voicemail was “cut off” so I never received word my cat was okay and ready to go. Thankfully I called right before they closed, to which I assured them I would be able to arrive ASAP, but that it would be past closing hours. “No problem, just call the office.” So what happened when I called? Your prompted to leave a voicemail and hope you’re called back THE NEXT DAY. Luckily I walked up to the office and a lovely tech named Grace was so incredibly helpful. No thanks to the surly nurse behind the desk. Not only did she act like I ruined their “very busy day” for wanting to pick up my cat, but then when I tried to use a coupon paid credit card by VCA (with NO EXPIRATION) written twice all over the card, she got herself all worked up. If y’all pass these out to your clients, maybe let the tech behind the desk know? She looked at the card like I handed her a dirty kleenex. Then after calling a VET over to help her with this ‘insane phenomena of a discount’- you could see even on the vets face, it was a quick fix. Not to mention, she wasn’t any nicer to the sweet tech Grace- who eventually brought my cat to me. Long story short: the vets and vet techs are awesome, but the service and prices are garbage. I’ve found 2 other vets already priced much more appropriately, but until I take my cat (and hopefully soon a kitten) I won’t know how their service or vets are! I’m hoping the city has some better options!

The office was very pleasant and they were able to see me immediately. Very clear information regarding care options and pricing. Cared for my little Striper as much as possible and made us both comfortable. They follow all Covid periodical

They are awesome. We had to put our sweet boy to sleep and they were so caring. They made sure that we as well as my dog was comfortable. They gave him some forbidden foods, he had his own blanket. They let us take all the time we needed and did not rush us at all.. Even when he was gone they handled him and us with care. The atmosphere of the room was very calming. Even before we had to make this decision Dr Crider took very good care of him. She tried everything she could to make him better. Because of her we got an extra 4 months with our baby. I would recommend them to everyone.

We just moved here from Kentucky and had no idea where to use for great care in Savannah. We took both our German Shepherds here Saturday and I have to say we were very impressed!!! The staff was very nice and you can tell they genuinely care! We was also very surprised at the price after everything thing they done. We expected it to cost much more! This just checks one more box of things we love about our new town. Thank you guys and we look forward to having our babies pampered at VCA for all future needs.

I took my cat to VCA because I was worried another vet had misdiagnosed her (turns out they did misdiagnose her). VCA quickly diagnosed her with the correct illness (which left untreated would have been very bad for her!!) and treated her promptly. I was also able to go in and explain my cats condition which helped me feel heard and understood (all while still saying Covid safe) I am so glad I took my cat here cause I can sleep easy tonight knowing my cat got the treatment she needed and deserves. VCA will be my cats vet from now on. Dr sparks is awesome
