Animal Kingdom Pet Resort Savannah, Georgia

We travel full time in our RV, so our dog has experienced quite a few doggy daycare stays. While we at CreekFire RV Resort, we took her several times to Animal Kingdom. She always came home tuckered out and ready for a rest, but the biggest reason I know she loved her time here was because she was beyond excited driving up to the entrance! Millie jumped and barked and wagged her tail all the way down the driveway. I've never seen her so happy to go to daycare!

Even after all of the negative things I have heard about this place I wanted to give them a chance. Huge mistake!! My poor dog was completely traumatized when I got her back. I will never leave my dog at another pet resort! Horrible experience!!!

Our family had a hospitalization emergency and had to cancel. We lost our deposit which I completely understand. They then charged us the full amount of the stay without notice. Completely disappointed with how they handled the situation. They have lost all future business from us and everyone that I know.

Love taking my sweet pup to Animal Kingdom. She gets so excited every morning because she knows she’s headed to daycare! The staff is so sweet and very personable. They communicate very well and I love that they take such great care of my baby!

I am recently new to this facility; however, I am beyond happy with choosing Animal Kingdom Pet Resort. The owners are extremely responsive and quick to answer any questions I may have. I really appreciate that they take the time to brief me on my dog’s behavior that day at daycare. If you want your fur babies to have a good place to go while you’re away, I definitely recommend animal kingdom pet resort!

Maddie our 14 month old Standard Poodle stayed at Animal Kingdom today. They were great!!!!! They were diligent about making sure her vaccinations were current which made us feel she was going to a safe and healthy place. She was very happy when we picked her and we could tell she had had a great day of play with other dogs. They even gave us a summary of her behavior and suggestions on making her next stay at dog day care even better. We will use them again next year when we visit Savanna'

I really don't know but hear good things

While I have not personally used the services of this facility, nor do I personally know the owners of this business, I have been in the pet industry in our town for 20 years and base my review on the reputation and feedback from my clientele who have used this business for their daycare and boarding services over the last 10 years. They are the only business I refer to for these services. The owners have a long history of dedicating their lives to the well-being and security of our pet community! With that said, all reviews depict my opinion, apart from one negative review by a Matthew Sardis. The superiority complex personality disorder of Mr. Sardis is well known in our community and many local businesses refrain from engaging with him, so I implore those who are reading reviews in an attempt to find highly regarded services, to read his reviews, but interpret his "complaints" are based on refusal of service by the business and his insistence that he just wants to engage in debate for the purpose of engaging in attention. The staff at Animal Kingdom are vigilante at protecting all the pets in their care, even to the point of protecting "you" from irresponsible pet parents who may decide you are the next target. If you are looking for daycare or boarding, I highly recommend this business and staff.....enjoy your time away! Your pet will be very well cared for!

Great service! Really care about the dogs!

We were looking for a place to board our dog for an upcoming trip and throughout the summer. Animal Kingdom was recommended by a friend so we went here first. I’m glad there are people who enjoy utilizing this facility, I do not count myself among them. Liked: -Cheapest in area -Closest to our house -Complimentary bath after 3 day stay Didn’t like: -No tour on initial visit -Wanted dog to come in for extra days so she wasn’t nervous before boarding (glowing temperament test results with no such requests at two other providers) -Plays fast and loose with your credit card without signed agreement -Staff not as friendly as other providers -Tried to make a proper introduction between staff and my dog and was told it’s just easier if I just leave which visibly caused distress (other providers have assumed I know my dog better than they do or minimally indulged my request) -Facility is much smaller and not as clean as others The price difference between here and one of the most expensive in town was $35 for a 4 day trip. The savings did not outweigh the negatives for us. Edit for owners response: Her response exemplifies a lot of what I don't like about her business practices. She does not seem to be open to feedback or different ways of conducting business as she considers herself to be an expert. In my opinion, the best businesses are those who learn from the feedback they are given and adjust. The consistency of issues found in reviews across platforms and her consistently defensive stance suggest that it is her way or the highway. In the end, there are other facilities who are more professional, clean, and have closer controls on their use of credit cards. These facilities will not require you to spend additional money to make your non-aggressive dog "less nervous" and I recommend you go to one of those instead, even at the cost of some time and a higher daily rate.

Great experience. I have a peculiar dog and they have been great. He has stayed 2 different time for extended stays with no issues. Very nice staff!!

Our dog (a cavachon) loves this place. We've been using daycare and boarding for almost 2 years now. We've never had any issues with the place or staff.

Very rude staff!! Charged me without service and then charged me again. I do not recommend trusting the staff with your credit card information. They also hung up on me during a conversation due to them not wanting to give money back.

Absolutely the best daycare we have experienced. They are so attentive and loving towards all dogs they have. My Kona learned how to socialize there, I always knew she was safe and well being taken care of. She was always so happy to get there and so nice and tired from playing when we picked her up. I would recommend Animal Kingdom to everyone!

I think it’s sad when people try to ruin someone’s business that they’ve never even used. The owners are very upfront with what needs to be done before your pet can stay and if your pet doesn’t fit the bill then that’s not their fault. They’re only protecting yours, mine, and other’s animals! My family has used this Pet Resort many times and we’ve never had an issue. Their helpful, and they love their jobs! They care about your animals as if they were their own. The negative reviews here are from “friends” of people that didn’t get everything handed to them on a silver platter. We love Animal Kingdom Pet Resort and will recommend them to anyone!

Animal Kingdom has taken care of 3 of my furbabies while we were stationed at Hunter. We used daycare, boarding, and grooming services. We were ALWAYS treated with respect and we recommended them to everyone we knew. We moved to Fort Rucker and did not know any boarding services there. So...we drove 6 hours back to Animal Kingdom to board our babies when we went on vacation. It was a peace of mind and my babies did so well with them. If we could take Animal Kingdom with us everywhere we get stationed we totally would!! The owners are so sweet and care deeply for the dogs they serve. When one of my dogs passed away they reached out to us and let us know they were sorry for our loss. They have always shown us safety is first, which is important to us. Dogs can be unpredictable but their knowledge of behaviour is key to keeping all the dogs safe. I miss this place and the owners. Highly recommend their services!

My chocolate lab has stayed at Animal Kingdom numerous times over the past two years. They were originally referred to me by my dog’s vet. My dog was recovering from surgery and needed to be boarded. The vet felt that Animal Kingdom would properly care for my dog in cleaning his wound and giving him his medicine. We have been using them ever since that initial boarding. My dog seems to enjoy his time at Animal Kingdom. He is always nice and clean when I pick him up. We have had nothing but positive experiences with Animal Kingdom.

Best staff so friendly and truly care about your furry kid. I highly suggest this place. I am very pleased with the services we have received there. I wish I could pick them up and move them with us to Fort Rucker, AL. BEST PLACE EVER!

Very unprofessional organization. We took our kennel trained dog there over Christmas weekend. When we went to pick him up Monday morning we were informed that he peed in the cage every time he was put in there, and that he cried the entire time when left alone. If that was the case why weren't we informed during the stay? He has never peed in the cage before. They also called us at 10am on Monday (we had to pick him by 12pm that day) asking if we could come to pick him now because they had other dogs coming in. So just because they overbooked we have to change our plans to get him earlier than what we were told, and what we paid for? Our dog also smelled horrible when we picked him up. He was neglected and not treated like he should've been. I will never be taking our dog there again, and I'll be sure to tell as many people as possible about our experience. Very disappointed and upset about the money wasted and the way our family member was treated.

Service, staff and facilities are awesome.

My dogs have been going to the Animal Kingdom Pet Resort for over 5 years and have always loved it. The facilities are well kept and I had no worries when out of town because I knew they were in good hands. The grooming is awesome too!

Awesome staff and service! This is the only place that I trust with my two dogs. The owners go above and beyond to make sure that our pets are comfortable when we go on vacation. I have a yorkie with a specal diet and they cater to her every need. The staff gives plenty of attention and affection to our babies during their stay. Their prices are also really reasonable and they are very careful about making sure all animals are properly vaccinated before accepting them.
