We tried several dog daycares in the area - Dropped our good boy off for a couple of hours, and without fail his tail was low, and he wasn't happy when we picked him up. A few times, he'd been kept in a relatively small cage the whole time. Then we tried Barks. You can see your dog online during play time, and they are very careful about ensuring all shots are up to date, and the dogs are monitored. Fletcher was always thrilled to be dropped off, and thrilled to be picked up. They are so fabulous that when we moved to another state, we drove hours out of our way, many times, to take him to Barks to stay for a few days. None better.

We booked our German Shepherd 3 months ahead for a wees stay. Went & did the tour of the facility & like the people & place. Our 9 year old dog past the assessment test with flying colors & they assured us the space was available. 1 month later they cancelled us saying the floor was being redone the week of our stay & refused to let us talk to management about the situation. Very unprofessional!

Our pooches, Nori and Mila, love coming to Barks for daycare. The staff is friendly, caring, and attentive. I have boarded my dogs here without any issue. A great, clean place for pups. Thank you!

We use barks doggie daycare at least once a month for our two dogs. Both love going so that theytry can play with the other dogs. My only complaint is that they do not answer their phone 90% of the time. You have to leave a message and usually someone will call you back. The fact that they have a web cam so that you can view your dog in real time is comforting.

We absolutely love Barks. Have been a regular ient for several years. Never had a single issue. Don't know whatcwe would do without them! Our girl has such a good time.

My fur baby loves Bark. As soon as I say, its time to go to doggy daycare, he runs to the front door. The staff is awesome and they love my baby. And when I picked him up he is tired.

Tested nearly every other dog sitter in the Savannah area. Dropped Dawg off, and picked him up 2 - 3 hours later. When I picked him up from EVERY other place, he was scared and deeply unhappy. Been going to Barks for over two years now. He still loves it. Happy Dawg every single visit!

I do training here and Jenn is amazing. The areas where the dogs daycare and board are always clean and the whole place smells amazing! The staff are awesome and super friendly.

Barks takes such amazing care of my two golden retrievers, Bella and Daphne. They love daycare, and are both involved in training, which has worked wonders. I go out of town a lot for work, and I trust them to be boarded at Barks whenever I have to be away.

We love Barks ❤️! Our energetic Aussie loves to go to day care and play. The training classes with Trainer Jen are wonderful. All the employees I’ve worked with are professional, kind, and caring to both their human and canine customers. The Barks facility is immaculately clean and fresh. Truly an amazing place!

I am revising my rating from 5 to 2 due to recent events. I had scheduled to have my dog boarded for our trip 12/26-12/30. After making the reservation and paying I received a call. They called to say they aren’t open on the day I need. There was nothing posted when scheduling on the website. It allowed me to schedule and pay. Now the only way I can board my dog there for this trip is to drop him off 2 days in advance, not spending Christmas with him, and paying for time I don’t need. Because of this and how my dog is, skidding due to a previous owner, I have no other boarding options and have had to cancel my trip. This trip was a large part of my daughters Christmas and now we are scrambling to figure out how to make it up. The only reason it’s not a 1 star is because they do provide a good service when it’s available.

Our 90 pound Lab loves Barks and really doesn't want to come home. We have to spell Barks in front of him so he doesn't get so excited. Folks there are so nice and really take an interest in him. They also make sure that shots are up to date. Great place.

Emily groomed our dog and it was the first time ever taking our dog to a groomer and she did a great job and our dog looked super cute, we will definitely be back to see her again!

I've been taking my dog there for months and the staff has always been outstanding with him. When he sees them, he almost forgets about me. He loves Barks and so do I.

We love leaving our pup at Barks for day care and boarding. No matter the duration of time we know our little one is in good hands. However, there is a little room for improvement. I feel like I am never able to get ahold with anyone over the phone and the online webcam is in desperate need of updating. The camera system is poor picture quality and very choppy. With modern day home monitoring cameras there is no reason for the live streaming quality to be so bad. With that said I still recommend and will be returning to Barks for future boarding.

The worst service I've ever experienced and just a total bad vibe from the dog sitters there. Called to set up a temperament test for my two dogs and told them I needed to board for the 4th of July weekend. As I was on the phone, the girl I was in the middle of giving information to, interrupts me twice by yelling about how her pens didn't work. Super rude. But, I brushed it off. When I dropped my dogs off for the temperament test and came to pick them up, they couldn't even find my dog nor even knew who he was. Huge red flag. Took them 10 minutes to bring him up front. If something were to happen to him, they would have no clue who he was right away or even know who to call. Really gave me an uneasy feeling about his safety at barks. Also, I reminded them for the 2nd time that I needed to board for the 4th of July weekend. The person at the desk wrote it on a sticky note and we left. I never recieved any sort of welcoming packet or fourm with information about boarding or even a confirmation on my boarding reservation. So I call back to confirm for the 3rd time a day later because i have yet to receive receive anything. They still didn't have my reservation down!! So a couple days before I was suppose to drop them off for boarding I decided to call. I had questions on boarding them. What do and dont I bring with them. Things that should've been explained to me. I call 4 times withing a 45 minute period and NOBODY ANSWERS! Another huge red flag. Wheres the staff?? I even tried to look at the webcam, (which I had to get the info from a friend who boards there,) of course it doesnt work. Finally do my 5th phone call to them when I finally get someone to answer. When she picks up the phone, she just says, "hello?" In a very stressed voice. "Hello?" So unprofessional. I ask her, "... is this barks." She then goes, "yeah. Sorry. We're busy." I just tell her I had a question about boarding since I was never told or given anything regarding boarding. She says again, "yeah. Sorry. Like I said we're really busy." So I said screw it and hung up, Canceled my reservations, and made other plans. They made it a stressful experience for me and I will never consider bringing my dogs around that staff. If handling a doggy day care stresses them out enough to where they cant so their job properly, I definitely dont want my dogs around them. I really wish I didn't have this experience because the concept is great and location is very convenient. The staff just completely ruined it for me. I'd give zero stars if I could.

This place is great. They have open play and sleep for the puppers so they're never in a cage during their extended stays. A great place to bring your dog for the day or overnight. Highly recommend.
