I took my 6 month old standard poodle here after a big tummy upset. The team is definitely an all star team. From the moment you walk in, everyone is so kind. They fit us in the morning of and the doctor set him on a treatment plan that got him back to normal. Yes, it was pricey, but this is a medical facility and totally worth the expense.

We’ve been bringing our cats here for 6 years and the costs have risen astronomically while they continually push unnecessary medicines. They told us they were giving my cat a three month round of flea treatments. They really signed us up for never ending $40 per month flea and tick treatment that an elderly, indoor only cat does not need. Then gave us grief over trying to cancel it long after the fleas were gone. After a year of surprise charges and upselling like a used car salesman, we’ve decided to just find another vet. There are many vets in the area and I strongly suggest you look elsewhere for appropriate treatment.

The receptionist here is the worst!! I had to return home to get my wallet and when I returned I was about 7 minutes late for a 9:30 appointment. The rude receptionist went out of her way to mention this numerous times. I have three dogs that will no longer be returning to this place. The Owner/Vet never reached out to see why I left the day of the appointment. Bentley, Chaz and Ollie Will not return!!

Extremely pricey .. check for billing surprises . My dog’s routine visit cost more than $700 . For a similar visit in another clinic we paid $250 . We would not visit this clinic again .

The Sandy Springs Animal Hospital took great care of my dog Myers. He’s dealing with a collapsing trachea due to old age. The doctors were able to help us find treatment options to make his life a little bit easier. All of the doctors and technicians are so nice! I highly recommend them as a vet!

Everyone I encountered today was very kind and caring. They made a plan and gave me options for my 20 yo cat. I will definitely return for my veterinarian needs.

Dr. Hunter is fabulous! She really took her time to explain everything that I needed to know. The staff was kind and easily accessible. Dr. Hunter was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and had such wonderful customer service. I feel great knowing that such a kind vet is just around the corner from me! They even sent us home with a gift bag full of goodies since it was our first visit. Thank you so much Dr. Hunter and VCA staff!

I cannot recommend this location enough! Dr Hunter is wonderful and is always willing to answer my endless questions as a new dog owner. Dr. Hunter has helped me learn a lot of techniques for dealing with frustrating puppy behaviors. She and the team have provided my pup with excellent care for her routine vaccines and when we had to take her today because she was sick.

Today was the last straw. They got us there by 9 am for a grooming that they lost the reservation for. The patronizing receptionist blamed us. We found someone great instead.

Updated 2019: I have to lower this a star, as they've managed to royally mess up my prescriptions for preventative medication. I was going through Chewy for the longest time, and without notice they've stopped taking Chewy's calls. This is fine, as I understand that this is a lot of call to manage, but they gave no notice. I only found out because I had an appointment with my dog, and I brought it up to them. Because of that, my cats are now behind on their Revolution. I'm trying to get my dog's heart worm prevention in time, but it's looking like that might be a bit behind now too. I'd buy it straight from them, but I've compared costs, and they charge about 2x the price of what Chewy charges. Still a great vet, but wish they had better communication through all of this. Original 2017: Everyone at Sandy Springs Animal Clinic cares for your pet like their own. We had a sickly cat who would end up here quite often. Dr. Joseph and Dr. Powell made sure to call us for regular check-ins, and they were always happy to answer every question we had. When our cat passed, Dr. Joseph was very supportive, and let us take everything at our own pace. Now, as we’ve just adopted to kittens, we know we wouldn’t go anywhere else for their care. I’d highly recommend this vet to anyone. They are the best.

My cats don't care for car trips so I wanted a vet that wasn't too far away. I saw that they had really great reviews so I checked them out. The staff was really helpful and seemed interested in helping me take proper care of my cats by answering all of my questions and concerns. They also offer grooming for cats which I plan to use in the future. Overall, I would recommend if you live nearby.

I’m so happy we found Dr. Muller and this clinic. Dr. Joseph is great as well. They’ve been completely transparent with everything and truly have a love for animals.

Update 09/30/2019 Thank you to VCA for making good and refunding me a portion of my bill I felt I was over charged on! Truly appreciated! ???????????????? Anyone else go there and feel like they were more interested in just up selling you services then actually helping your dog/pet? I went yesterday, had a few questions on what is going on with her, the only ones they seemed to answer were the ones they tried up selling me on. The new Vet there is terrible at social cues. I am so frustrated with them right now and disgusted. I will NEVER go back there again. I feel so taken advantage of. UGH I told the Vet she had yeast in her ear, she insisted on testing it and yup it was yeast, so $73 additional to tell me what I already knew! ???? She tests a nodule to see if it’s a cyst or not and nothing calf out, so instead of trying to get something and looking at it under the microscope they did nothing but try and sell me additional services. That was another $73. Then instead of listening to why I’m there including reasons my dog could be having bowel movement issues she’s trying to sell me on shots! I told her I’d take care of it next month, but she just kept insisting and lecturing me! I’m so disgusted with them and if I could give them 0 or negative stars I would!

I couldn't recommend Dr. Muller and staff more. We recently thought my dog had bone cancer, and Dr. Muller delivered the news kindly but direct, showing me the xray's and helping me figure out next steps. She called over to Blue Pearl and helped me get an appointment quickly for Oncology. Thankfully - it isn't bone cancer after more xrays and just a torn ligament! Dr. Muller called me a few days after we went to Blue Pearl to check in and see how Riley was doing. She expressed extreme happiness and elation when I told her the good news. I really have never had a veterinarian be as compassionate about my animals, but also thoughtful with the resources we have. I'm so happy we found this clinic and Dr. Muller!!

I’ve brought my dog here for about 5 years now. Vet services are always great and staff is very attentive to her needs. I really appreciate the fact that they respect that not all animals love all people and THAT’S OK!! Rue is scared of men and this office is sure to make sure female staff are available for appointments. This way vet visits don’t have to be traumatic, and we’re really grateful for that.

I have been to several vets due to moving. I took my dog Piper to get a routine check up and Dr. Joseph is the best vet I’ve ever worked with. She is kind and attentive and took great care of my baby. I highly recommend this her. ❤️

I had a great experience with Dr. Muller at my first visit to the VCA with my cat. She answered all my questions and gave me price options for labs to run for my cat. She even called me personally with lab results! The office staff are warm, friendly, and helpful too!

I went to this Place of business VCA in Sandy Springs last year August 2018 . I had just moved to Sandy Springs and needed my Westie Highlander(10yrs old) shot to up to date. I was asked all kind tests and insurance plans offer for my dog. I feel this place of business care about animal. Great!! Beginning of Summer of 2019 I bought my Westie Highlander(11yrs old) for shot needed to be up to date. I was offer another care and tests for dog. I was thankful!! Fall 2019 My Westie Highlander 11yrs yrs 10 months become ill having seizures on a Monday I called my VCA help for my Westie I was short on financial fund until I got paid in 2 days of that week I called them for help for my sick dog . I was told I would have pay for today appt not in 2 days The manager told the receptionist to tell me that they couldn’t help me with my sick dog with paying I tried wait 2 days Wednesday so I could pay for my apt for my dog. Tuesday morning I bought my dog bleeding and having seizures at my Vet VCA examining room. I told the dr on duty my situation about my dog is sick and can’t pay until tomorrow for my dog to care for I was told let give your dog medicine so it will help him with the seizures. I thank her. I was told my dog needs all kind of test to be taken to find out why he is have seizures. I told I decided to put him to sleep instead . But I can pay until tomorrow for him to be put down. I felt some arrangement cause have been done . I thought MISSIONS at VCA animal hospital was to help animals no matter what. I felt hurt and scared for my dog. I am so sorry dogs and other animals can’t talk maybe then they would help them because they explained. I was question so you can pay tomorrow. They were thinking but saying ok we will help you out I called a family to send me the money right away . The staff at the desk that day was so cold customer service . She was asking questions about what I wanted after he was put down. I have sign paperwork in the examining room my decision. I just want pay for my bill and leave the place of business. I will get another dog but will not bring my puppy to them. Heartless!!

I've been using SSAC for two and a half years. Until now, I've been satisfied, but they now have a paper only prescription policy. They will no longer fax prescriptions to online pharmacies, requiring pet owners to mail scripts unless it is for their "favored" pharmacy (more expensive). They grudgingly agreed to faxing a one time only prescription and then it was for NO REFILLS. It seems they are trying to make things as difficult as possible for their clients. Time to look for another vet. Update: Despite the comment left here by SSAC management to contact them, I sent an email saying they were welcome to call and talk to me, which never happened. Of course, they could have used the contact information they already had if they were sincere about addressing my concerns. I think their recent acquisition by VCA (massive corporate entity) has changed their values.

I brought my elderly cat here, the doctors at this clinic were more interested in gouging me for money than they were in taking care of my sick pet. Would never come here again, would not recommend.
