I have so many critical family issues going on at the moment, but I had to take time to say I was so impressed with the kindness and immediate care and appointment I was able to receive for my pet when I found out we had an growing tumor to remove urgently in my beloved dog's mouth. I could not have asked for better care. I was really concerned before my dog's surgery. But they helped me prepare for the things I needed to do, before and after surgery! They are a smoothly operated business, which means they can take time to tall to you about every step and every consideration. And they listen when you talk about your pet's needs. Thank goodness they did. Because we never would have known how urgent the situation was without their dental knowledge and many years of dental and oral surgery experience. My dog's dental surgery was so beautifully performed. I was given so much exact detail of what to expect and what to do to give my dog the most pain free comforting care post surgery. Your sweet pet will be very well cared for medically and emotionally. They are a TOP NOTCH organization all around! Thank you Dr. Mees, Jessica and Patricia!!! Here's hoping we get only good results from the biopsy!!!

Recently moved to the area and both my cats needed major dental surgery. Jessica is awesome! So helpful and kind and she truly cares about your pet! Dr. Mees is simply fantastic and of course the rest of her team. Thank you for giving my boys back their health and happiness! We are very fortunate to have found such a wonderful, caring place to take care of them! -CJ

If one of your four legged family members needs dental care, LOOK NO FURTHER!! We were referred by our regular vet when our sweet boy Morris had some major issues with his teeth. After dental x-ray at the regular vet, what we thought could …

My little dachshund got into a fight with my brother-in-law's Rhodesian Ridgeback. Of course MooMoo got the worst of it. We rushed him to this emergency vet clinic at about 11 pm. The they did X-rays and examined him and found that he had a broken mandible, multiple facial fractures, and puncture wounds. He needed surgery, and she explained to me that they were fully booked up for the next day but that they would squeeze him in since we were from out of town. The vet was amazing. She explained everything in detail, she was very patient, and she was very sympathetic. The girl at the front desk was also just as wonderful. The cost was what I would expect from an emergency clinic. They performed surgery the next day, and when we picked him the surgeon explained everything thoroughly, just as the vet did the night before. They saved my little guy's life, and I am so grateful. Plus they treated me with empathy and respect which is what I needed at that time. I would highly recommend this place if you're in need of an emergency vet. I've been to some that haven't been understanding and this nice. Plus, the surgery price was way more reasonable than I expected.

My 11yr old Shih Tzu has suffered with a disease called CUPS for years. My own fears delayed his treatment. My only regret is not seeing Dr Mees sooner. My boy needed two procedures and I noticed a ton of improvement after the 1st. He had the 2nd today, and Im 100% positive his quality of life will even be better! He barks now, plays more and is overall the dog he was before getting CUPS. Dr Mees and her team were informative, and patient with me, and took such good care of my furbaby. I highly recommend especially if you have a smaller pet with oral issues. Thank you again!

Absolutely wonderful staff willing to go out if their way to help. The wait list is quite lengthy, but they do the consultation AND surgery in the same day. The doctor is fantastic. It is well worth the wait. My little dog had 8 teeth pulled and she is feeling IMMENSELY better. The services are reasonably priced too. Thank AVDS, you are fabulous!

Not long ago our vet recommended teeth cleaning for our 3 year old boxer, Fabio. Since we treat him like a child we decided to take him to a dentist. What a wonderful discovery it was when I called Atlanta Veterinary Dental Service and spoke with Jessica. Not only was she very pleasant but knowledgeable and helpful. When we arrived at the office Dr. Mees examined Fabio and immediately noticed that he has several extra teeth, also a few bottom teeth missing but assured us that this is a common issue with this breed. I felt extremely confident to leave Fabio in her hands. Although he doesn’t need any additional care I believe that a yearly visit is necessary for him. When we came to pick him up Jennifer, a veterinary nurse, clearly explained the X-rays and educated us about Fabio’s future mouth hygiene. She even took a photo of him recuperating covered with a plush blue blanket. A know Fabio will miss them and come for a visit before his next appointment.

These guys are great. Our poor dog was having teeth extracted by another veterinary clinic and they broke his jaw in the process. The folks at AVDS met with him us soon as they could, and provided great care to our poor dog. He's doing great now (2 weeks later), and we have AVDS to thank.

Dr. Mees and her staff were so wonderful and so easy to work with. They took such good care of my kitty, who had a congenital problem that no one thought could be fixed. Joey is so happy and healthy, and I am so much better educated on dental health. All my pets have benefitted really! Thank you Dr. Mees!
