VCA Webb Animal Hospital Rincon, Georgia

We've been taking our dog to this clinic for years, and steadily the service has gotten worse over time. Their treatment of animals has become infuriating, and I'm recommending people go anywhere else. The staff show very little care towards the animals they treat. - They send 10+ year old dogs home immediately after surgery instead of keeping them overnight even though older dogs have the highest risk of complications. - They make the stitches so tight that they rip open when the animal moves a little too much. Our dog ended up with a major infection because of this and had to suffer weeks after yet another surgery to fix the issue. - They don't take dogs outside when they need to use the bathroom, instead the dogs have to hold it until they can't anymore. After picking up our dog after her surgery yesterday, she peed herself as soon as we got outside. Because of how she's stitched up, she can also barely lay down because it causes her so much pain.

Just called for appt because my cat is congested and wheezing. Earliest appt is october 12th almost a month away. Sounds like you don't have time for my best friend or just don't care. You should always have an appointment available for emergency illness. I will be looking for a vet that understands upper respiratory can't wait a month. You just lost all 7 of my pets. Yes I am angry while typing this.

I always reccomend Webb to my friends and family! Been going here for years and am always happy with the treatment my fur babies get!!

Recently moved to Georgia, my dog nitro needed emergency surgery to remove a foreign body and VCA took him right in. Very informative staff and nurturing towards my dog. Highly recommend!

My babies love Dr. Foglia!! She was with me and my Peanut during a very difficult time. Some of the staff are great! Some, not as I would expect in an animal care environment. I know everyone can't be like Dr. Foglia, but it would be great if they at least tried.

My daughter's dog was attacked by a wild boar (that she had tracked down and cornered), and was gravely injured. She somehow survived and made it home. After having her stabilized at Savannah Emergency, she was transferred to Webbs for further treatment. She had surgery and hospitalization for wound management for over a month, as well as revisions, clean outs an unexpected jaw repair. All of the staff at Webb have been absolutely skilled, caring, professional, attentive and every other adjective I can think of. Zoey is still fighting to recover, but is actually happy to go into the clinic everytime to see "her friends", which is a testament to her having been treated with love and gentleness. Thank you, Webb staff, for saving her.

We took our 3 feral cats there to be neutered. One of our cats, Scary, bit one of the techs and had to stay there for 10 days. They called me every day to let me know he was ok! He gets scared very easily, hence the name! One of the other cats, Spooky, had an infected foot and they took awesome care of him to get it well. I wouldn't take my animals any where else.

I love this place. Been going to webbs for 7 years now. They take really good care of my babies. Anytime I have a problem they are quick to resolve the issue such as emergency calls. I just recently had to bring one of my babies in and it was an after hours visit but they explained that it would be after hours and gave me the prices of the appointment before I arrived. I wouldn't carry my babies anywhere else. I also recommend everyone else to them because I'm always a satisfied momma

We love going to webbs. If they can help you over the phone they will. My mom first started taking her babies here. So naturally when I got our first baby my mom said ,we going to webbs. We have been going there for more than 35 years. Would not go anywhere else. Dr.joe is great. There is a lady that helps him and she is so super sweet with our babies. Each time we have gotten a new pet,they go see dr.joe. I highly recommend this place.

Took my healthy American Bulldog to get spayed she was there 8 hrs. The spay went good and they seem to have taken real good care of her. But a couple days later she starts to cough like she had something in her throat we took her there as a walk in 1hr half wait told she kennel cough that there had been alot going around but tested her to see and gave meds and we went home. She got it from there I have NO doubt we live on completely fence in 5 acres and haven't been anywhere. So then my other two dogs get it , one is a elderly dog. It has been a mess, and my sister is a vet tech in SC she said its from not correctly cleaning of the kennels. So then we are told it was Canine influenza thats what the test showed . Just beware if your dog gets sick and was healthy and you go here, Among the money we had to pay out. And I never thought I would Say this about Webbs.

I can't say enough about this animal hospital/family to my fur babies. I never had a vet know my animals so well, medically, behaviorally, and personally. It's been a hard time during covid, and they have been nothing but kind, and supportive.They really treat us like family. Medically, everyone knows their field well, and genuinely enjoys it. They work very hard, and I am very thankful to have them in our pets lives.

Just moved to Georgia and our dog needed his weight checked in order to get correct dose of his heartworm/flea/tick meds. All of the staff were very friendly and professional and gave me great information on their services in order to make informed decisions for our fur baby's continuing care. I would highly recommend them.

Webbs Animal Clinic has helped me so much in being a great pet parent. With extended hours and fantastic personnel they have gone above and beyond the call when it came to making sure my fur babies were going to be safe, healthy, and happy. They have been an amazing group to work with and I am proud to call them my pets primary care doctors. The team here is unmatched anywhere else in south GA and if you are looking for a good place to take your fur babies I advise coming here.

For vet care, I give it an 5. Dr. Foglia and Dr. Emily are amazing and very attentive to my dogs needs. The front desk and medical staff are very gentle and get a 5 as well .For boarding however, only a 2. My fur baby had a serious eye infection and no one in boarding noticed...even though his eye was matted and draining and he "supposedly" received extra play time every day. You asked....I answered

I have used Webb for years now and they helped me with spaying and neutering many of the feral cats that are living in the woods out here in the country. Its such a relief to have such great people helping animals out that have been dis-guarded by owners or that have been bred in the wild. Its wonderful to see people stand up to help care for the helpless. I highly recommend them and, if need be, will be going back.

I read a previous review about the unfriendliness of some off the staff. Well I cannot say that I experienced any of that..everyone from the entrance to the exit was very pleasant. I even told them I will write a review. I was satisfied. Way to go Webb Animal Clinic!!!

This is the best vet I have ever had for my animals. They are the only place I trust to board my dogs when we go on 2 week vacations. They let them out to play with other dogs their temperament and size. They definitely get to know your animals!! The care is also amazing! They make sure too remind you when your animals need shots. The pet desk app they have is also really helpful when making appointments

We got the curb side service. They took our dog and did what usually take hours did it in a hour. We were able to go take care of other things and Webb let us know that she was about finished to come back to get her. Very convenient! The lady that took care of our family was very friendly and efficient. Love this!

We have a 16-year-old special needs dog. The folks at Webb animal clinic were able to work us in even though they were clearly very very busy with regular appointments (and playing catch up following the reopening after the Covid shut down). We are here visiting with a family member who brings his dog to Webb Animal Clinic. We were told that they are very high quality care and service providers. They are indeed fantastic. You are lucky to have them in your community!

I went without an appointment, it was a minor emergency. They told me by phone that they will do their best to take a look at my dog, and they did. They were awesome, very nice and kind all the time. They are being very cautious with this Covid-19 situation taking all of the appropriate measures, which is great! They took great care of my dog and I was very happy with the service. I just moved to the area, and I’m very pleased to have find such a good facility and personnel to take great care of my baby. Totally recommended.
