Not to sure about the negative reviews but we just moved here and Dr. Keith and Cassandra are amazing. My pit bull has gone to multiple vets over 3 years and nobody had ever given him ANYTHING that worked for his ear infections, he’s been on multiple antibiotics and nothing helped. Moved to Savannah and decided to try them out because of their new client first visit discount and after a few days on this new antibiotic and antibiotic drops his ear looks amazing and isn’t swollen at all. It’s like I have a puppy sgain he’s got so much energy now. Thank you Westside ❤️ Turner definitely thanks you

I recently moved to Savannah and they had a special for new comers which was ideal for me and Sweetie Pie. I loved that the visit was in person with your pet and the Dr. Purcell was very loving and helpful with the needs for Sweetie Pie my Cairn Terrier mix. The staff was helpful with all my questions too. Thank you for welcoming us to Savannah! I highly recommend the Westside Animal Hospital.

Always a positive experience at Westside Animal Hospital. The doctor and his assistants are very considerate and show personal concern for our pets. Our aging dog was diagnosed with arthritus, just like me!! And he was given medications to help with pain.

Dr. Purcell and staff are professional, good to our dog, Sophie, and we go back frequently for things like bath, nail trims, and regular check ups. They work with your budget and give you options for pet treatment. Our dog is very healthy! Thank you Westside AH!

I just recently relocated into the area and called a few places about wellness exams and boarding. I came across this animal hospital and thankful I did. The staff is extremely informative and friendly. The vet was very welcoming and made sure to answer all my questions and gave my dog affordable care. The boarding is probably the best rate in the area. I would only trust to leave my pets overnight at a vet. Highly recommend this office in you live in the area.

This place is completely awesome!!! Our Izzy was sick and they helped us get through it...after we had to euthanize her we had her privately cremated and it was truly a sad time...they sent us an awesome keepsake to always remember her by...She will always be in our hearts. Thank you Westside!!!!! You guys are the best!!!!

I really wish I could give zero stars. Will NEVER take another one of my animals back here and I work in the animal industry and am going to tell everyone this. So careless and all at the cost of my four year old cat.

Friendly, efficient staff! My Fur Baby was in good hands with the Westside staff. COVID restrictions prevented me from going in to the office for the appointment, but I'm glad the staff is taking this seriously. I almost took one star off because, unfortunately, new patients aren't seen on weekends. A minor inconvenience, though, because they made up for it by making the stool sample so easy to return.

My doggy received a thorough exam by wonderful staff and doctor. I highly recommend Westside Animal Hospital.

Ripoff & hes been in trouble b4! Our 15 yr old blind sr was crated 8 hrs becoz they had cheap grooming equipment!! Rescue groups I know go elsewhere. U SHOULD TOO IF U LUV PETS! I have 10 furbabies & REFUSE 2 TAKE MY PETS HERE AGAIN. Been in rescue for 32 years. Hes bad!

Love the staff and Doc! He helped our dog back on track from severe allergies that other docs missed. Now that our dog is older, he takes special attention to detail with him. I appreciate his devotion to the practice and his love for animals!

Great staff, very kind and helpful. Most vets I've gone to charge exorbitant prices and then add on additional fees and procedures... Westside is extremely upfront with giving a quote and going over any additional costs throughout the appointment. They're great people and I'm very happy using them for our pets!

Very pleased with the diagnosis of our Gracie. Dr was thorough and did not suggest extra unnecessary tests. Was very satisfied with all the staff. My Gracie is doing very well. Highly recommend.

I'm disappointed with this office. We took our puppy here 3 times, 2 for vaccinations and 1 to get spayed. I made the appointment for them to spay and microchip at the same time while she was under anesthesia, per the nurse's recommendation. They didn't microchip her because they "forgot to write it down." I spoke with someone on the phone about this who was rude and less than helpful. I also just found out that this vet was arrested and charged for animal cruelty, which is extremely unsettling. This was not disclosed. Additionally, the actual facility isn't great. The walls are paper thin, so during one of our appointments, we literally listened to the vet convincing a family to put their dog down, which I feel like is very personal and they probably didn't want the people in the next room listening to this. Overall, the communication is poor. The staff are generally unhelpful. The backstory of the vet is upsetting. I would not recommend going here. Do more research than I did.

Everyone there is so nice. Dr is amazing and listens to needs. Even though he's been doing this a while you can tell he's still passionate and cares for animals.

Very caring toward animals, complete exams

Great place everybody there welcome you all the time and took care of my buddy's dog with much care and never got mad at me for being late several times worked with me and had a great amount of understanding. I think I may bring my babies there!!

I loved this place that took very good care of our new Kitty. The doctor and staff were very knowledgeable and professional.

The nurses are very friendly and thourogh. The vet is kind but honest and speaks in a very professional mannor about options risks and treatments. I recommend this vet highly if you can handle the truth and for me that's the kind of doctor I want on applejax and my team

Dr. Purcell and team are wonderful! Been bringing my kitties here for more than 5 years. They always remember us and are helpful in reminders for medications and treatments.

Though the wait was long, the reason I gave four stars, the staff was very professional and very friendly with my dog. They took care of her like no other Vet I've been too. I will definitely be using these guys again.

They truly care about your pets

We did an initial visit with both our cats. The doctor was very thorough and explained to us their medical condition thoroughly. The staff obviously love their jobs, and really understand and respect their clients and their precious animals.

We were on a road trip from Massachusetts when our 13-year-old long-haired Chihuahua became very ill. Luckily, we found Westside Animal Hospital, Dr. Purcell and his staff. When I called the office to ask for help, my fears and anxieties were quickly put at ease. They took great care of our “old little girl” and took a lot of time with us, explaining the test results and the medications she needed. Never once making us feel foolish for worrying so much about our dogs prognosis. We also received several calls to follow up on her recovery. We highly recommend Westside Animal Hospital. We are very grateful-Robin & Walt.
