I'm the type of person who would barely write a review - I've probably written fewer than 3 reviews online. However, this hospital's service is so exceptional that I hope more people visit this place. I had always taken my first kitty to this vet, and always pleased with their service. Recently I had a puppy who's suffering from diarrhea and vomiting for days, and after taking her to another vet closer to my new home, her condition got worse but that vet said they were not able to see my puppy today and suggested going to ER (it was noon when I called). Then I called Spalding Animal Hospital and they had availabilities to see my puppy, and also gave my puppy the treatment that she needed today. Their xray service was also more affordable than the one quoted at the other vet. I'm so thankful for Spalding Animal Hospital and even though I'm not in the area anymore, I will take all of my pets to this hospital from now on. Dr. Stephanie Fernandez was very knowledgable and caring and I'm so thankful for her today.

I've been going to Spalding for years. Recently my 13yr old dog began having heart problems and all 3 doctors, especially Dr Robertson, worked tirelessly and updated me every day for a week trying to get us into a specialist. They were finally able to do an emergency ultrasound as she was going into heart failure and get her on the right medicines. She was like a new dog a week later and continues to improve. I'm so thankful for her wonderful doctors.

Great techs who are knowledgeable and calm in the face of a pet "emergency" - Dr and techs took care of my dog quickly and luckily it wasn't a real emergency!

When my cat was sick on a Saturday, I called about 11:30 and they refused to let me bring her in. Not compassionate at all.

I switched my dog to this vet after recently moving to this area and they’re great! So far he’s been there for his annual check-up and also when he got sick. They made a stressful time easy and calm, and made it apparent that they really cared about him. They were completely transparent with everything when he was sick (what they thought could be the problem, possible solutions, their personal take on it, the cost of everything, etc), and they were more than willing to talk everything out with me and keep me updated. The real value of a vet is how they handle the situation when you’re dog is sick, and they completely knocked it out of the park for me!

So I recently switched to this vet office after a bad experience with another one in town and I am SO grateful that I did! They were able to get both my pups in as new patients almost right away for their wellness exam, and Dr. Robertson was SO thorough and answered all of my questions and concerns without ever making me feel rushed. On top of that, one of my dogs got very sick today and they were able to see him same-day, kept him for a few hours and after fluids, running some scans to rule out anything scary, and the proper meds, when we picked him up he was his spunky self again. I am beyond grateful they were able to see my baby on such a short notice and took such amazing care of him. I am so relieved to have found a vet that I can rely on and truly cares for the animals they treat.

Chico likes it there. They have helped with his allergies and have given us good recommendations to specialists when he needed them for an emergency situation and also for surgery to remove multiple lipomas.

I don’t think that you understand how much you appreciate the job of a veterinarian until you reach a life or death situation with your dog. The doctors at Spalding animal Hospital literally saved my five month old puppy, Miller’s, life. He had been very sick for a few days and previous hospitals said that the x-rays were nothing to worry about but when they x-rayed my puppy at Spalding they knew something was definitely wrong. They took him immediately into surgery and if it weren’t for that my puppy would have not been alive today. Thank you so much, Spalding Animal Hopsital. I can not thank you all Anouilh. I am so grateful.

We had an emergency for our 12 year old dog on Saturday. They took great care of her even though they were not her primary vet AND truly impressed my wife with their great care for our little dog. Definitely recommend them.

Great place to take your pets. Dr. Paola was amazing when my cat got sick. She tried everything to safe her. She was very compassionate and understanding and even reduced some of out fees. I like the honesty, I always know upfront what is being done and all the charges that I will have to pay. Would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Got a quick appointment. The vet was very thorough and informative. Not a bad experience, but I have to deduct a star for the receptionist that literally hung up on me while I was still speaking and then wouldn’t answer the phone when I called back.

Both Dr. Stylings are AMAZING! Can’t say enough about them and their great staff. Their facility and top notch. We left our old veterinarian office and followed Dr. Matt Styling to this new awesome practice. He’s watched our dog since she was a puppy.

Dr. Matt is great. One of my dogs is fearful around men. He was gentle and patient with him. Always seen on time and they have always fit me in at the last minute. I have 5 dogs so cost is important to me. I have been at ease at the cost, even with surgeries and procedures I had to have done. Dr. Matt has called personally to check on my pets. I have been going there for about 5 years. As far as office staff, I only prefer to interact with Britni the vet tech, who is amazing, as well as, Nita, at the front desk and the other vet tech, Jared, I think is his name. They are kind, friendly, professional and always try to help get something resolved in a timely manner.

The staff has been great with our dog, which has aggression to new people that try to touch him. They have answered all questions we have concerning him with the expected knowledge you would you want them to have. The only issue somewhat major issue we have had is them mistyping his chip info so he was in there system twice. This has since been corrected and things have been good since. They have also implemented, form what I can see, a good procedure amidst this pandemic. They are all wearing mask and come to the car after checking in your dog and I never see any dogs cross paths. This makes me feel as comfortable as I can in going for his vet visit without me or my fiance in the building with him.

I have called this hospital on many OCCASIONS And this is my cats vet where I primarily take him ( BUT NEVER AGAIN ) and I may call to ask about a concern for my pet and what I should do for him if something is going on and these people never ever reach back to me not a single time I cannot stand this veterinary hospital because my pet could literally be dying and this place could give a F and will tell you they will call you back and NEVER EVER do it thanks for absolutely nothing I will never ever take another animal here ever again because they really don’t care about animals and this place is never busy it’s almost always dead it’s absolutely ridiculous how many times I have called this place on different occasions and not once have they ever called me back in regards to my pets health when I asked them a question and I am not even the type of person who would even call the vet unless something SERIOUS WAS GOING on nine times out of 10 if I’m calling a vet obviously it must be serious and I DO NOT appreciate how they dismiss my concerns by telling me oh they’ll call me back or they will have someone call me. HORRIBLE STAFF half of them don’t even know what they’re talking about either or doing and are almost always CLUELESS you would think to hire people who know something about medicine or Animals to work in an Animal HOSPITAL. also while I’m here let’s mention how I took my cat here for a yearly check up and they gave him a shot of some sort and a day later he got a huge lump on his leg and I’m sure it was a infection because I am a RN I ended up treating him because I took him back again and I had them look at his arm and they had no idea what it was but I’m pretty sure it was infected from wherever they gave him the shot or whatever it was maybe he had allergic reaction I don’t know but it happened after they gave him whatever vaccine they did and they prescribe me some medication to give to him which did absolutely NOTHING it was just a waste of money and time moral of the story is I ended up treating him with amoxicillin and the lump went down And even after I mentioned I would never bring my animal here again I called them explaining my frustration and my reasoning behind the review because After all my cat was STILL SICK and this is (WAS) the only vet I had taken him to in the past year and one of the Practitioners who works there (FINALLY) got on the phone but not to answer my question But to get jazzy with me because of This Review. It’s the AUDACITY FOR ME... if you were just going to answer the phone and have an attitude and try to talk to me crazy... believing you’re actually doing something then you might as well have just told me you were going to call me back LIKE USUAL or better off hanging up in my face but the fact that you went out your way to get on the phone to try to talk to me crazy it’s very unprofessional and really disgusting and actually very VERY embarrassing. What professional does this??and I quote this man said to me “ if you don’t trust us and don’t like us I think you should take your pet to go get treated else where” and click that is when I hung up because what was the purpose of that you must think you really did something by saying that to me you are lucky that I actually care about my life, career and MORALS because if I was a nasty person Id had every right to go up there and cause a scene because that was so disrespectful and really gross, I think this is enough. I hope anyone who reads this stands clear of this place. this is the last thing I will say about this veterinarian clinic I wish you the worst like I said it’s not busy here anyway so hopefully you all will run out of money and close down ????

The vets take their time to listen to you and talk to you about how your pet is doing and what they need, and that's important.

I LOVE this vet clinic! Started taking our two dogs and one massive cat here two years ago when we moved down the street. They almost always have appointments available the next day; the staff is super friendly and will remember your pets from the last time you brought them in; very reasonable prices (only $20 for nail trim on a very finicky puppy who is always waaaaaay too excited to see her friends at the vet to hold still for her manicure); and the vets are all very knowledgeable as gentle with my pets. HIGHLY recommend! 14/10 will visit again!

Kind people. Not my usual vet, but were able to get me in quickly after my dog was attacked. Would go back in a heartbeat!

I came at a time where life is hard. COVID crisis has fully emerged. My dog is 13yrs old and I had to rush her in with extreme pain. She was a NEW patient. Not only were they able to see her quickly, but her diagnosis was also fast. I was able to start her treatment immediately. This post is to THANK Dr. Steyling for his recommendations and treatment plan. Although I could not go in the office to be with my suffering pup (pandemic y’all), he spent ample time going over everything on the phone with me and answering all my questions. The staff was super friendly and helpful with my girl. I am forever grateful.

Theu are so kind and helpful. Very good at communicating and my dog loved going there. He always comes out smiling and excited. The pricing was very reasonable as well.
