Great place to take your fur baby. Very friendly, caring, and compassionate workers. Customer service excellent.

Horrible experience. They left my cat in a small crate for 6 hours and still did not examine her. On her spaying they argued that she was pregnant and she has never been around mother cat. This is the most incompetent, neglectful and most expensive vet I’ve ever been to. If you love your pet do not go here

For the second time in the last three weeks I was able to a sick dog seen and treated same day. I was very happy with the staff and the Dr. The prices are very reasonable and the whole staff is very helpful.

I am mostly using the grooming salon and have not moved my Standard Poodles vet records to Old Capital yet. That is seriously on the agenda though as I am quite happy with what I have experienced so far and since purchasing my home their location is more convenient.

We’ve been using Old capital pet care since we moved to Milledgeville two years ago. The vet and her staff are wonderful people. They’ve taken care of my pets through some very major injuries and day-to-day management of health. There are groomers co-located with Old capitol Pet Care and they are also a wonderful bunch. Natalie and her staff keep my Boykins looking good and next week they’re going to meet my new baby Bassett. I highly recommend this Business because they’re kind, caring, and priced at the right level for services provided.

We take our fur babies to see Dr. Smith. They are always nice to us, even when very busy. The wait is usually not too long. Several times, we had to take in Rusty with his stomach issues or his IBS, they get him back on track with care, concern, meds. We love this vet!

We love this place! We’re never here very long. It’s not a long wait to be seen and we are normally leaving within 10 mins! Staff is very friendly!

Took in a mix we rescued found out pointer mix also took our rescued chi mix for nails ... Was able to speak with vet and everyone was so nice

Don't ever take your animals here bc my mom and papa went here and i was at school my dog was prgnet and could not give birth when they went there they toke her back and told my mom and papa that she needed to be seen asap but they couldn't see her bc they was booked so my mom and papa left the reciptness followed them out and looked at my mom and told my mom that it was her fault that she was in this situation bc she wasn't spade so dont ever take your pet there they are messed up and just remember crama is a B****

If I could give no stars I would. I brought my tea cup chihuahua here because she was pregnant and couldn't give birth to the rest of her pup's, after taking us to the back they look at my dog and tell me she needs a emergency c section and she needs it now, then tells me that I need to take her elsewhere because they were booked for the day. The receptionist was the rudest person I have ever met in my entire life, she looks at me and tells me that it's my fault my dog is going through this because she isn't spade. What kind of place turns down an animal when in need of emergency surgery? This place. Do not take your animals here! Go to the Milledgeville animal hospital ,they were amazing and took Layla straight back!

A hawk was stranded in the middle of the road in pouring rain! I stopped for assistance! When we went back the hawk wasn't there. Hopefully it was in shock and was able to fly away safely. Thank you for caring!

No waiting around in a veterinary office that looks like the bar scene from the first star wars movie. They keep your appointment and are always one time and courteous. Great staff that knows there stuff.

Found this adorable little girl while visiting family in Georgia and I called Old Capital Pet Care because they were the closest. The lady (Peggy) I spoke with was super friendly and said to bring her in and they would make sure she finds her a good home. I hope she finds a loving family for this cute little pup.

I used Dr. Smith years ago,really liked how she took care of my schnauzer I adopted a a silky terrier so she's going to take care of her for me and I really like how thorough she is and everybody was nice and polite after all those years

Not my choice place to take my pet but is just okay

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE FOR GROOMING ! I have a Maltipom named Rocky and I wanted him to be groomed there and he needed a trim because his coat was starting to become matted a little bit. She asked how much did I wanted trimmed and I told her “an inch” and she said okay. She gave my dog back and he was COMPLETELY SHAVED OFF! She didn’t let me know that there was a possibility that she was going to do that I just came to get my dog and found out then that they shaved him. They didn’t even cut his nails at all and I asked if they brushed his teeth and she said “you have to do that at home we don’t do that here” and on top of that I had to spend $38 for the “grooming” I’ll never go back there again!

Do not go here!! The staff is rude and unprofessional. They have no sympathy for new pet parents and only care about the money. I was very disrespected today and talked down to by the front office receptionist. They overcharged me on medicine for my puppy and pressured me to get it or else I was a bad dog parent. Please go to Heart of GA instead, the wait can be long, but it is a million times better than Old Capitol. I am not usually one to judge a place too hard on reviews, but please take my post seriously.
