DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE! My 9 year old precious shitzu was in distress and choking so we brought her here for help and they turned us away because they are not taking new customers. They did not even try to look at her for one second and gave us another place to go as if we would even have that kind of time.

Pretty limited service plus consistently long wait times, even with an appointment, make this a less than ideal option. Milledgeville is a tiny town though so given the limited options it may be the best you can do without an hour plus drive. To be fair, they are usually fast when they finally get to you but getting to that point is a marathon of waiting. For routine vet services like shots, teeth cleaning, heart worm checks, etc this is a good option but if you know you need something more advanced you might want to consider driving to Atlanta or Warner Robins from the get go.

Terrible experience at this place. Never take your sick dog to them. I took my baby on a Monday who was very ill. Doctors said they needed to do surgery to see exactly what was wrong. I was told that the surgery would happen on Wednesday if needed and Wednesday comes and no doctor was in the office and they closed early at 12. Went on Thursday expecting my dog to get the surgery she needed and was told the doctor is out Thursday and Friday. Went back on Friday and was told the surgery doctor would be back on Tuesday. In the meantime my dog health has declined and she has been kept in a small cage and only let out twice a day. No one was sympathetic to me or my dog the entire time. I reasonable level of care was shown or expressed. When I asked on Friday about why they still can’t tell me what’s wrong with dog or why she hasn’t been seen and why I was given false information about when the surgery would take place it was demanded that I come pick up my dog immediately. I made it clear my biggest concern was if my dog would survive until Tuesday but no care or remorse was shown. Terrible animal hospital I will never return I advise anyone to take this serious if u care about your pet don’t choose this place.

They were nice every time I've been in the office but when I called to ask what type flea meds they gave my dog and that I needed to bring him in for his shots, the little fella told me they weren't taking any new patients. Now I just asked him what meds I got for my dog, wouldn't that tell you I'm an existing client? I would think so, and I told him as much, I wasn't a new client. He said if it's been such and such amount of time, you're considered a new client. Now I'm sorry but sounds like a bunch of bull#@&+ to me. So, needless to say I will be finding me a new vet, not bc if what they told me but for throwing away clients they already had. I think it's wrong. The clients that are established with them are the ones to keep, and tell the actual new clients they aren't taking any new ones. Sorry this just upsets me.

They truly care and try and make things a little less stressful on pets and their owners. Been using them for years and have had so many bad experiences at other places. Thanks animal hospital.

They always take great care of my kitties!

Took my 11 year old Chihuahua as she wasn't doing well... Dr Smith checked her and glucose was 674 started her on Insulin ... Today took her back for week check up and down to 123 ... She's acting well awake more and adjusted very well to new food and shots again thank you very much to Dr. Smith and her crew if not for you all don't know how outcome would have been

Really great people work there, doctors know what they're doing, they've solved a problem that another vet hasn't solved. They're really trying to help, not like other vets in town who just try to pull money out of people. I highly recommend.

This is the best place for all of your animals. I haven't been disappointed. They are very fair priced and treat you and your babies like family. Couldn't think of going anywhere else ????

Found my mom’s cat this morning and she has been injured. They worked us in even though the vet was only taking appointments. The experience was wonderful from the start. The office staff was very friendly! The vet and vet techs were so understanding and reassuring. One even gave my mom a tissue because she became emotional. Will be bringing all of my animals here!

All of the staff and Dr .council and Dr. Cutsforth was very good to me when I had my baby Jake was up there about two weeks All together and they let me come up there and visit with him and when I had to have broth of my babies put to sleep everyone was just so caring and I will be back to see them again my babies that had to be put to sleep was puppup and Jake and I will always be thankful for what they did for my babies thank you all at the animal hospital for everything

They took great care of my dog. His shots are all completed. I go and get his 3 in one pills for heart worms etc once a month for preventive care.

They are the best!!! Highly recommend
