I have been taking all my dogs to Montrose for 30 years now and have always received excellent care from Kerry Webster and the staff at the clinic. They are all friendly, caring and exceptionally well qualified. My four legged pets are my best friends so I will only take them where I am confident they will receive outstanding care. I would like to amend this review as recently I had a very unprofessional and unsatisfactory experience at Montrose. I took one of my labs in for annual shots. I was not able to be with my dog due to COVID regulations and when they brought her out, the bill was above $2000. They took the liberty of performing other treatments without my knowledge or approval and that were not necessary at this time. There was no communication regarding the added treatments or if they were even required. The new owner can hardly be described as a caring pet business owner. After being one of the first "patients" when Montrose opened, I was sincerely disappointed.

The staff at Montrose was very helpful and professional in getting two dogs in for shots. In order to be groomed, they needed shots on short notice. Montrose had one opening and worked us in. Thanks guys!

Our aging Golden Retriever boarded at Montrose for the first time last week. When we picked him up from Montrose on Saturday he was the calmest and happiest he’s ever been after boarding. He even turned around and snuggled Abbey as she brought him to the car where, previously, he couldn’t get into the car quick enough and sulked for the rest of the day. Thank you very much for taking such good care of Oakley!!!!!

I have been going to Montrose for my animals since Randall Bondurant opened the doors. They have continued to provide the best care to all of my animals (there have been quite a few!). When boarding, they show each animal attention and affection and even give you a report card to tell you how your pet did. (Thank you Bernie!) Their medical treatment of my animals has been both caring and extraordinary in going the extra mile. There are not enough good words to express how I feel about this practice. Having just moved and with another vet clinic in my back yard (literally), I will still drive half an hour each way to go to Montrose.

Our 14 year old cavapoo has been going to Montrose for 5 years now… last night and today Ginger has been having diarrhea and vomiting and now blood is in her stool. We have been boarding her there a min 10 times a year and full time patient or Montrose, even a few surgeries. Thought we were part of the Friendly neighborhood Vet Family and when a older dog patient of theirs is having issues like this they would want to see them. Instead I get “we are booked and won’t be able to see her till Friday just give her some bland food and cut back on her water consumption”… that’s it. Clearly it’s all about the business… and not about the caring for our/your family pet! Atleast it was in this case. Disappointing.

I had a wonderful experience at Montrose Animal Hospital yesterday. When I suspected my 14 year old Doberman was experiencing a Urinary Tract Infection, and the vet I had been going to was fully booked, I decided to take her to be seen at Montrose. The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming, from checking in at the front desk to leaving after the appointment. The Vet and both Vet Techs who cared for my dog displayed tremendous, genuine compassion and care for her and consideration for my feelings during an appointment to discuss a stressful health issue she may be experiencing. They went above and beyond to examine her thoroughly and shared abdominal images with me so I could see what they were seeing and explained the treatment options to me. I will continue to come to Montrose and would highly recommend them.

This place is incredible. They listen to all of your concerns and answer all of your questions. They always make time for you. My previous vet turned me away multiple times when urgent issues came up and montrose always got me in. The care they give is top notch and I know my pet is getting the absolute best when he’s there. So grateful to them. Thank you!!!!

We bring our dog Ollie here for grooming with Kristen and she is awesome. We tried a few others around here and they were disappointing. Kristen takes her time with Ollie and gives him a great schnauzer cut.

Montrose was able to get my puppy in for an appointment quickly for an ear infection. I received timely and clear communication about her treatment plan. My puppy was cared for and treated in an outstanding manner.

Jax and Marty recently stayed at Montrose "Day Spa with Sleep Overs" for 9 days while we were on vacation. Both our boys were healthy and happy upon our return. I have the utmost confidence that they were treated well while there and will use Montrose again when needed.

WE HAD A GREAT ONE YEAR CHECK UP FOR OUR PUPPY WITH DR WEBSTER. THE FRONT DESK STAFF WERE QUICK TO CHECK US IN, THE TECH CAME OUT RIGHT AWAY TO BRING HER BACK AND DR WEBSTER WAS THOROUGH, KNOWLEDGABLE AND SO POLITE AND ENTHUSIASTIC.

I am beyond impressed with the quality of care my dog received and how kind and informative the staff and vet were about everything. My dog accidentally ate 2 grapes this morning and he was taken care of immediately. Thank you!

The staff are all very kind, BUT unlike better vets I've used, push test after test, even tests that don't seem to bear on the symptoms. I guess East Cobb folks will not bat an eye at thousands of dollars spent that don't seem to lead to results. And when the tests are in, push sending the tests outside for further evaluation and cost. Aren't they capable of reading an xray in house? And if not, why did I just spend $400!? They never could diagnose poor Fanny. RIP my sweet girl.

We moved to Marietta Ga in mid December from California. Our aging Jack Russell Buddy had been diagnosed with a soft tissue sarcoma under is tail. We opted to wait until we got to GA to have it removed. Our new neighbor referred us to Montrose Animal Hospital. Dr. Mary Matthews removed the mass the day after Christmas. Buddy had some minor incision setbacks during the healing process and both Dr. Webster and Dr. Matthews provided amazing work to get Buddy back and on the road to normal in 2 weeks. The entire staff at Montrose are so compassionate, welcoming, caring, gracious and generous. The provide the most excellence in customer care and service. We are now heading to New Mexico with a very happy and health Buddy...We are so thankful we were referred to Montrose Animal Hospital. They are Number One!!!

I tried this vet based on the great reviews and it did not disappoint. The office called within an hour of my submitting an online appointment request. Everyone I interacted with from the receptionist to vet tech to vet herself were extremely friendly and thorough. The social distancing options worked fine and were not a hindrance.

Super friendly staff and felt very comfortable with the level of care given to my pet. The facility is very clean and the veterinarian was very attentive. The experience was what every pet owner should expect when caring for their pet. Highly recommended!!

I love this place for my furry baby! You can't go in due to Covid-19 but there is always a friendly face and smile that comes to your car and makes you and your furry baby at ease. No drama.

We've been a client of Montrose for 12 years and love them. Recently, we had another fantastic experience when we needed medication for our dog during shelter-in-place. I called the office, they gave me prescription refill without needing to see my dog because she'd use the med in the past and then they provided curbside, no-touch service when I picked it up. I highly recommend Montrose.

Just picked up my sweet boy from his spa day with Kristen. She is such an easy going groomer and goes at your pets pace. It’s no wonder why she books out weeks in advanced! We love Dr. Matthews, too! Everyone at Montrose is great and we love you guys ♥️♥️♥️

I’m rewriting this to make it more legible. In summary, I saw my manager qwik a dogs nails even though they were already visibly trimmed. After the manager took over the trimming and qwikked multiple nails, the dog put its mouth around the manager’s arm as a warning. The manager didn’t understand that as a warning, despite the dog not actually applying much, if any, pressure, and hit the dog in its chin repeatedly. It was loud enough that it was audible through all open doorways. I have an audio recording of the kennel manager of Montrose at the time, Jamie Wade, admitting to, and justifying, this incident. Anything contrary is part of a false narrative to cover it up. “If Cesar Millan can do it, so can I.” The same manager also put dogs that were on a fight list in the same yard together with muzzles on, while he had 4-5 counselors watch them so they didn’t pull their muzzles off and attack each other. This is a great example of someone with a complete lack of common sense regarding dog safety. I’m told his attitude towards handling dogs has changed since then, but I can only speak to my experience. The owner was not concerned enough to follow up in a timely manner, nor was he interested in taking any action to provide proper guidance and discipline to the kennel manager.

These are the best and nicest vets we have ever worked with. We were having issues shipping my daughters dog on Delta, and these guys went above and beyond to get the paperwork corrected and he is living the good life in paradise.
