I am new to the area and trying to find a vet/place to board my dog. I was asking the lady questions about their boarding policies because I'm in a pinch and she was short-tempered with me. Add insult to injury, she cuts me off at the end just because she has someone on-hold on the other line. So rude and no "southern hospitality" here. If I'm gonna be treated like this on the phone as a new potential client, what in the world makes me think I'll be treated any better down the road?! I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE as they obviously only care about money and do not know what customer service is.

Great place they gave me proper treatment that I needed for my cat and the price was fair they didn't do anything that needed not to be done just for the money. They communication was great about Isabelle. I highly recommend this place to handle your animal who's like family. Staff was great also and very friendly.

I usually take my pets here but I called to make an appt and was told you now have to pay an office visit fee along with your other charges ????????I was so shocked, well we have another nicer cost efficient place of care for our baby.

We have been going here for oour cats for nearly 12 years. We love Dr Shurling and her staff. They are always so nice and understanding to us. We would not go anywhere else. Even though there are several vets closer to us,we still drive across town.

Vets are nice and generous and communicate everything they are doing and suggest to do prior to just doing it. Always have timely appointments with at max 5-10 minutes max wait times. Fees are very reasonable as well.

I have a cat who is quite literally one of the most important beings in my life and I just called with some concerns about my kitty, Maddie spoke to me very patiently, gave me tons of great options and advice, and was also very kind and patient with my anxiety over her. I have definitely found the veterinarian I'm going to be using for my kitty from now on, and it's this one. Thanks again Maddie for the advice!

Fantastic place. My dog had tapeworms and I'm a truck driver so I can't really make an appointment and wait a couple days so they let me basically walk in on a Saturday an hour before they're we're going to close and still saw me and Samson my German Shepherd Great staff very friendly the vet very knowledgeable and very helpful gave me all the information and medication and I need it. Even gave me the roundworm medication that I needed for my cats without him actually seeing my cats. I looked everywhere for roundworm medication at Walmart but they don't carry it so I asked and they gave me some. I really appreciate that. They're feeling a lot better. I would give this place more than 5

A great experience! They were quick to help my 7 week old puppy who was very sick. I called many different vets who said that it would take 2 to 3 weeks before they could see him, but Riverside Animal Hospital said they would take him in the next 3 day a wonderful experience with great people!

We just started our exotic animal breeding business, have many new animals and hadn't located and decided on who we would choose as our new vet, yet, and our rare, "Swain's Blue Mountain Lory"(parrot), suddenly became very ill, and you could visibly see she was very ill, it was a total nightmare, as " Tikki Tikki " is "Mommy's Baby", and I myself was crying like a baby.???????????????? without having any money at the moment, due to having just paid all our bills, bought feed for all the animals for the month, and Amazon putting fraudulent charges on my banking card, so my account was locked until that matter was taken care of, this veterinary clinic didn't even know us, ... Yet they told me to bring our parrot, first thing the next morning, and even the vet herself, Dr. Shirling, came out and greeted us and spoke with us, explained everything to us thoroughly, gave us eye drops and antibiotic, while I didn't have a dime to pay her... I can not believe how wonderful these people are!!! And they told us to pay it soon as we can, but no worries???? How amazing was that?!?! ???????????????? I love them!!! We now have our new vet! ! ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I had an emergency with my dog this morning and this is his established vet. I could barely get out what I needed before the receptionist said “Sorry, can’t get you in until Thursday, I have nothing. Try the emergency vet.” Fortunately, another vet in town that we’ve used went above and beyond to work us in even with a packed day. Riverside has lost a client. I appreciated their service and how good it was to my budget, but I’ll pay more if it means better quality and professionalism.

I had several GOOD experiences with this place when I boarded my dog using the bigger "run style" kennels. In Summer 2015, I was late for a conference for work in Florida. My girl dropped my dog for boarding on monday after my departure. The dog had a urinary tract issue causing incontinence, which started about ten days prior, so she dropped him with diapers and meds. He had seen a fine vet. I came to pick up my dog late on friday, and the bill seemed higher than usual. There were additional charges for administering medication, which consisted of two pills per day, and a charge for a veterinary exam. I got worried and inquired, "what happened?" Reply: "there was no emergency, the law requires dogs have to be seen by one of our vets if we give meds." "So what were the results of the exam?" (while thinking a second opinion doesnt hurt). She checks and says, The vet notated that, "He needs his teeth cleaned." (of course I wanted to know about the bladder issue.) "Sir, nothing else is noted." Confused, I said ask to consult with the vet. Reply, "we have rotating vets, and this vet only comes on thursday for a few hours." (as in yesterday). Huh? I got agitated but remained calm. I stated that I will pay the bill in full (about $380 with the pill admistration, vet exam, taxes,..) , but I am not paying this $40 extra exam fee -he was seen yesterday! Yet, charges for giving a pill start Monday, I wasn't aware of any law, nor did I request a veterinary exam. The lady at the desk became very rude, and I paid all but $40, and left with my dog in his diaper. That was summer 2015, and I called multiple times,and the staff hung up repeatedly on numurous good faith attempts. In my efforts to comprimise, I tried by offering half. I indicated the debt is disputed, proceed according to the Fair Debt Collection Act, and please stop sending bills every month with outrageous interest. Yet, almost every month I got a bill with more heavy late charges, just to harass me. I just got one today. My bill is now almost $450 due to late fees. They have antaganozid me, lost my future business, my girl's business (she has 2 dogs), and made me want to sue them! "rotating vets."? "lies about the law and ignorance of the law?" I might win and surely my lawyer's will ask for punitive damages! I reiterate that my dog always seemed happy when I boarded him here prior to this occasion, and I always paid in full. I had no issues on those occasions. I invite their response! Since the harrassment continues, i might diverge from the high road.

Very nice people. Very patient and quick service. I didn't like the protocol of my pet going in alone due to Covid but I understand the process. My dog was treated very well. Friendly place.
