I’m not giving this rating on the basis of whether or not Dr. Wright is competent and or capable. He is absolutely a wonderful doctor and has mastered his craft as well as his bedside manner. My rating is solely based upon the ridiculously exorbitant prices that are charged. I’m old enough to understand that nothing is free and one must make a living. However, when you can do a little (very little effort is needed) research/comparison shopping and find 5 or 6 other establishments offering the same services and qualifications but at prices that are reasonable and affordable it’s a no brainer.

People really care about your pet

They were so very nice when I called them. Doc Wright is a very knowledgeable vet.

Have recommended this place to friends, THIS place is sooo nice, the vets and assistants are soo sweet, and caring,they put you at ease and make you feel like you and your pet are the two most important clients in the world!!! Price is GREAT!!!

Truly a wonderful staff, took care of my cat and made him feel safe and not scared. I appreciate the work they do.

First of all I use two different animal clinics due to finances, and preferences of some services of one clinic over the other one. I called and spoke to Kourtney to schedule his distemper and parvo shots Their records had not been updated so after going back and forth with Kourtney that My Skeeter did not need a bordatella but only a parvo and a distemper I connected her with the other animal clinic who verified that the bordetella was not needed and agreed to forward her the info. I also forwarded her the info I had on hand. That day I checked with VCA clinic to make sure they sent to updated info and they assured me they had. Kourtney stated that she would update the information once received. I checked with her to find out if she received the needed info and she stated that she received it and was updating the info but during the conversation she kept adding in the bordetella . I corrected her numerous times. Yesterday when I called to check the pricing, for his appointment, I spoke to Sheryl and she checked and gave me the price for all 3 including the bordetella. I could not believe it but it was stll there. Sheryl pulled Skeeter’s file and made the correction. make sure that Skeeter would only receive the distemper and parvo she indicated that he would need the bordetella as well. Frustrated and confused as to why this wasnt clear, Sheryl pulled his file to find that he did not need the bordetella and she updated the information. Thanks to Sheryl for getting it right. Kourtney did call but only to defend her inefficiency. I dont say I wont use Dr Wright anymore but definitely communicate with another assistant when I need things done in an efficient and timely manner.

I have been a loyal customer since 1987 with all my dogs and cats. Dr. Wright and his team of other vets, vet techs, and office staff are all wonderful! They care about the animals and the owners and take great care of all of us. I recommend Dr. Wright and the Lithonia Animal Hospital wholeheartedly!

Thanks for printing and giving docs to my family so we could take our dog Mars to Hawaii. They (I think it was Ashley or Amanda) was willing to call me back when phone reception was terrible and even helped by checking with someone else on if her info was correct. We landed in Oahu last night and I really appreciate it.

It was a great experience. They are so nice and courteous and very helpful. My pebbles was kinda nerves at first. After only one minute with the nurse she had her very calm and willing to do anything she asked. Thank you so much for your help with my baby.

My grand doggy ate a Peach without my knowledge. When I couldn't find my peace I quickly took him to Lithonia animal hospital where they induced vomiting and the dog threw up the peach pit. This procedure saved my grand doggie's life.

Interaction with the entire staff was great. This was our first visit and it won't be our last. The location is what drew us to this Animal Hospital, but I am sold on the vibe and great attitude of the staff. For the most part the doctor gave us a diet and instructions for our new puppy and told us to bring him back in once he put on some more weight for some of the other shots he needed.

I've been takin my King here since he was a pup. It's the only place I take him unless he goes to jail. They have gotten very pricey though. My king had an ear infection an between his visit an meds it came to $211 they quoted $129 an told me it wouldn't be no higher than that. So I've been thinking about bringing him to the city pound for any further medical needs I CAN'T afford them no more it's a shame when you gots to change your doggie doc cause they are too expensive

Made a appointment with them for my puppy and went there and they refused to take him saying I never made a appointment mind you I most definitely did.

The service was very nice. The doctor took her time and listened to my concerns

Our family and especially our pup love and trust Dr Wright. As a matter of fact the pup only wants to see the good Dr when he visits ????

The Vet here has a passion for the services that he provides and he goes about the practices of Veterniary with an uncommon sense of purpose. He helped me put down a large dog of 15 yrs and even helped me bury him in my backyard. The best Vet I have ever delt with

They take great care of our dog Beast. He is a huge handful, but they treat him well!

Took a new puppy there and they were fantastic with her.

I had my doberman puppy's ears cropped. Very professional and her ears turned out perfect.

I took my 10 week Doberman here for ear cropping and Dr. Wright was great. He's honest and really helped me narrow down what diet I should put my boy on. He gave me knowledge on the history of my dog and really made me feel comfortable about coming here.

My Pom recently had a fatty tumor removed they took excellent care of him. Back in 2014 my Pom and I were outside in snow and I wasn't expected any one to be driving in the conditions in Lithonia GA when a driver of a Ford F150 came down the street and my dog ran at the truck and was ran completely over. The head Vet I believe Dr. Wright saved my POMs life. I don't trust anyone else with my dog Tuxedo but the Lithonia Animal Hospital!

They did surgery on my cat. They were extremely transparent, professional and nice. My baby didn't make it but I will always be grateful that they tried. When we arrived to get his body and things they took over 15 minutes to bring him out, not ideal but okay.
