Evergreen Pet Lodge provided a wonderful home-away-from-home for our Sparky while we attended the Pledge the Pink walk in 2021. We drove down from the DC area and thought we had left home way early enough to drop Sparky off before Evergreen's closing time. Unfortunately, though, I-95 was completely shut down due to a truck accident that added 1.5 hours to our travel time. The Evergreen staff was SUPER helpful! They sent someone back after closing time to check our Sparky in and get him all comfy for his first night there. The place was beautiful and clean, too! We will definitely choose Evergreen Pet Lodge when we visit Hilton Head Island again!

When it comes to places I board my dog, I am extremely picky and I have to say this place was one of the best places he has stayed. The staff are absolutely incredible! They love the animals in their care and are super friendly. When I would check my dog out during the day, he hated leaving and was always excited to return in the afternoon. I will absolutely using their services on future vacations to the island.

This place was AMAZING!!!! It's always stressful vacationing with your pets. We booked both of our large dogs into doggie day care and they made everything so hassle free and man the rates for the entire week are absolutely fantastic. I looked at a couple places that were closer to our house but the drive wasn't bad and it's hard to put any kind of limit on a place that takes care of your dogs so well. Will be a repeat customer for sure.

Was vacationing on HHI & needed a kennel. Evergreen was 1of 3 options. After checking online information, we picked Evergreen. Staff was very professional & helpful. Our Finnegan, 7 yr old Wheaton terrier, was well treated. His eating, sleeping & other habits have not altered showing us we chose the right kennel. We dropped our 10 lb 5 year old dog off for 3 days while vacationing on HHI. Jonathan was wonderful to help navigate a paperwork problem with our vet at home! Facility is super clean and staff are also very nice. In hindsight since this was the first time we boarded our small dog since adopting her, I would probably book a "suite" because of the noise (to be expected!) next time. There's a vet right next door if your pet has any issues.

We use Evergreen whenever we come to Hilton Head. Our golden doodle loves the staff and he has his own vacation while we enjoy The Island. Baxter has been coming to Evergreen for 3 years and he enjoys every visit whether it is for a couple of days or a week.

I don’t even know where to begin! My sweet girl Indigo was having some extreme separation anxiety after I moved to Hilton Head for a full time internship and couldn’t spend the whole day with her like I did during quarantine. I was very hesitant about daycare and nervous about how it would affect her. I wish I discovered evergreen so much sooner! The first day that I brought her there I was struck by how excited all the other dogs were. They were eager and pulling on their leashes to get to daycare ASAP! I thought, that’s sweet, but there’s no way Indigo will ever be like that. I figured that at the most, she would tolerate it. During her first day I was worried about her all day and sent a message to evergreen hoping to check in with her. Shortly after I received a reassuring call from the owner, and when I picked her up they even had a report card for her first day! By day three, low and behold, Indigo was just like all the other dogs, wagging her tail as soon as I pulled into the parking lot, pulling me to get inside, and greeting the staff with the same enthusiasm with which she greets me! More than anything, that’s what made me realize that I had made the absolute best choice for my dog - seeing her happiness and enthusiasm every morning. She is an incredibly energetic dog who needs a lot of exercise and being at evergreen changed her behavior so drastically because she was finally getting all the exercise she really needed every day! She became more calm, more obedient, and genuinely more content on a day to day basis. I did a full month of daycare at evergreen and it was BEYOND worth every penny (another bonus at evergreen, you get the absolute best care for your dog, and their prices are the best I’ve encountered). I’ve since moved away from Hilton head but evergreen is only place I will ever consider for when I come back to visit. To Jonathan, Emily, and everyone at evergreen who helped make indigo’s experience so amazing, thank you so much!

I boarded my 2 corgis @ Evergreen over a weekend in June 2021. This was my first experience with boarding since we moved to HHI area. Evergreen was recommended by my veterinarian, as well as other dog owners (I'm very cautious about boarding my "kids"). I made reservations in advance & my corgis were up to date on the required boarding vaccinations. The check-in and check-out went smoothly; everything seemed professional. All good from my perspective! I will use them again.

This place is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I wouldn't leave my dogs with anyone other than Evergreen! My dogs are always excited to go, the facility is immaculate and the staff is the best. The groomers are awesome....I could go on and on. Thank you Evergreen!

I have never lodged my pets before and this was the most amazing experience ever. The staff was very nice and extremely caring. I lodge my 2 dogs for almost a week, every day I picked them up they looked healthy and happy. Both my dogs were taking several medications at the time, and the staff was able to give it to them while enjoying my vacation. Lodging my pets at evergreen during my vacation was the best decision, and it’s near by the airport.

Such a rarity in this day and age to find an affordable and fantastic dog daycare while traveling. Highly recommend.

We made the reservation over the phone a month in advance. Upon arrival we showed our dog’s up to date vaccinations. We also provided instructions for his eating routing… We have a picky eater. He ended up with diarrhea, we noticed when we picked him up for a walk. Upon mentioning this issues they quickly offer to put him on a treatment, but instead we purchased a separate bag of food specially for our dog, and it solved the problem. Speaking of walks, we visited Mitchelville Beach which is up the road less than 5 min. You can walk your dog there past 10 am, basically anytime. Everyone back the Pet Lodge was very friendly. You can tell they are experienced dog handlers because our dog was checked in on a blink of an eye. We are 1st time pet owners and our expectations were met above and beyond. Our dog seemed to be exhausted from all the play time, and it means a lot because we have a 1 year old shepherd dog with lots of energy. Overall great experience for our dog and us.

We just finished up our vacation and our trip was even better because of Evergreen. Our two doggies thought they were at puppy camp and were treated so well the entire week. We were able to go get them for walks and visits and they were always easy to take back in. We ll definitely be seeing them again next time!!!

Great place for your pets

@DollyTheBeachBerner and Sparky are regulars for daycare and boarding. They come home exhausted and can't wait to get out of the car when I pull up the next day. The staff are all amazing, including WIllie the Groomer who keeps them looking great. We highly recommend John and the friendly Evergreen team!!

Everyone was very nice and helpful. They kept my dogs over Easter weekend when they were extremely busy but still went out of their way to assist. A special thanks to Emily for waiting on me and to the wonderful young man who helped my sister when my dog pulled her down.

my dog just finished his first week here. The first night back he was wagging his tail in his sleep. When the weekend came he was waiting at the front door like "come on go to work, take me to day care!" They remember him when he walks in. The owner clearly loves these dogs as well as the employees.. I'm so glad I chose this daycare for my puppy!

It was soooo noisy and stressful for my girls they began having horrible watery smelly diarrhea, very within minutes after picking them up. I had even called the day before to check on them and was all reported as well. My sweet Fanci had lost so much fluid she couldn't even walk by the next morning and ended up at an emergency vet clinic for IVs, Antibiotics and a special diet. Dx severe stress related colitis! She perked up after a bolus of fluids for us to get on the road to NC. She is still having watery stools and may end up in the hospital for more fluids.

We've had our dogs stay here when we've visited hilton head. We can check them out to go to the beach and to lunch during the day and bring them back in the afternoon. Both we and the pups are happier than if we kenneled them back home.

They have it down to a science. My pup always seems to love his playtime.

First time for grooming. They listened to my concerns and did a beautiful job!

They have treated my pet exceptionally well this week as well as my wife and myself. Would definitely recommend them.

This is the MOST AMAZING pet lodge in the world! Staff are soooo kind and nice! And the store is just super cute! Facilities are beautiful, a veterinarian hospital is beside the lodge so if your pet need something this is the perfect place! My two dogs were there and they were very happy even when they hadn't been never in a lodge! They even spend a night and they were super ok with! They gave them a bath, cuted their nails and they were super cute when we picked them up! We are very very very very pleased with this place! (And they have the cutest and most wonderful face mask ever!). If you are looking for a place to leave your pet and want to be sure that is wonderfully received, definitely Evergreen Pet Lodge is the place you are looking for! The ONLY BAD THING is that they are not in our town! ???????????? 1000% recommended! Prices? 100% SUPER AFFORDABLE!!! GREAT PRICES! FOR REAL!

We have used Evergreen on 2 occasions when we couldn't find an in-home sitter. We have 2 small dogs & they were able to share a kennel & keep each other company. We were pleased with the service & employees were very friendly. The only downside was when our pups stayed here they did not have cameras set up so we could peek in on our pets. If they had that capability, we didn't know about it. If they don't have it, it would be a nice perk to add. Overall, I trust them to take good care of my fur-babies and I also like that Plantation Animal Hospital is next door in case a medical issue were to arise while we are away.

I have nothing but awesome things to say about this place. Everything was wonderful, from customer service to accommodating some last minute requests. Most importantly...we’re those people who know when their dogs have had a good or a bad day and when they’re in a bad mood. Our two doodles seemed to have an amazing time. Take your pets here!!!!! Excellent kennel. Emily and Jonathan are so welcoming and kind. The location is clean and our older dog was well cared for. We needed a kennel during our vacation to Hilton Head and so happy with the choice!!

Wonderful grooming and boarding! My cats love it there! The staff is amazing and they provide excellent care to all my cats. I have been a loyal customer for 10 years and would never go to any other place for grooming and boarding!
