Do not take your pet here! They don’t care about your pet here they only want your money. The person I talked to on the phone was very rude to me for some reason and kept getting defensive when I would ask questions. And when I asked for her name she refused to give it to me. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Now I’m going to cancel my business with them and go somewhere that can actually help my Dog. Since they couldn’t even give me a knee brace for my dogs torn ACL. I also watched them drag a dog by their leash to the back with no remorse of hurting the dog. Save yourself the hassle!

VERY expensive and rude. Do not seem to care about the animals, but only want to book appointments at the highest price. I ended up having to pay over $200 just for a basic rabies shot. Originally came to vet for a different reason and they charged my account. You can go somewhere else and get same rabies shot for less than twenty bucks. Plenty of better vets in town. Take your business elsewhere.

I have 2 dogs that I have taken here since they were both puppies. Very friendly staff and vets.

Dr. Benson and the team at Banfield in Bluffton go above and beyond to answer all of my questions and concerns and provide the most excellent care to my cats. You will feel so at ease trusting them with the care of your pets. Truly an amazing experience with them!

They are the best. It’s difficult to find great help for our fur babies in a smaller town, but at Banfield it’s so easy. They make you and your little one feel like you’re the only one there with their customer service. A smile greets you the moment you walk in, and the moment you leave. They are professionals, patient with my little one(he’s a bit aggressive) they know how to handle stressful situations like mine with so much patience. The facility is clean, and they have little spray and cleaning stations in case your pet has a oopsie! Definitely recommend them. They now have their own facility near Kroger (where the old block buster used to be)

To run a quality business, a veterinary service should be a more understanding when a customer lives an hour away and is 10 minutes late to an appointment. I drove that far because I have been going to Banfield in several cities for about 15+ years, and have received the worst customer service in Bluffton, SC ever. They were not going to see my pet and I had to beg to have him seen after driving the distance to see them. Then, the next time I called at about 1145ish, I was told that I could bring my pet and drop him off to be seen. I got ready and took my pet there to be seen. I was told they could not see him that day. No one told me any particular time to bring my dog. I had him there at 2 pm which is 3 hours before closing time. I am NOT using Banfield any longer.

They don't know what there doing and they are overpriced as compared too most vets

Dr. Benson was phenomenal with our dog. She treats her like she is her own pet. She is professional and will always make time to come out and talk to you about everything. Highly recommended.

Update: since covid started this place has changed for the worse. Our family cannot believe the lack of disrespect for humans and animals that has been going on here. Some staff is beyond rude and not using the education they received. Without getting into too many negative vibes I will end this update with the fact that we will be leaving and taking our business elsewhere when our pet plan is up. We have used Banfield for years. Two different states. They always take care of our pups. We have two pitties and they have never once discriminated against us or our pets. Their pet plans are great. Between the plans and the staff your pets cannot miss a checkup. There are a few doctors I favor over others but that is a personal thing. Nothing like going to the vet and knowing your pet is taken care of.

They staff are very friendly and seems to care about the animals and have knowledge about what they know and they seems to care about the needs of the animals. We have two Shar peis and the staff have been helpful with our dogs and giving us info about our dogs and their health. Some vets care about the money but not this one

Tried to get my pet euthanized and they refused to see him that day, to make an animal suffer is not good practice !!!

Horrible! I was faced with a dog mom's worst day.... the day I had to make the decision of ending my best friend's suffering... I called Banfield out of desperation, because my regular vet couldn't see us for 3 days (holiday weekend). My 14 year old corgi had been losing mobility for over a year, was blind, going deaf and lost the ability to control his bowels and bladder. He was just hanging on and finally could no longer hold down food or water. So I called, crying, to explain the situation. I was told that they would need his entire medical record, with treatment notes (my vet had already closed for the day), they would need an initial exam and that they would schedule euthanasia if it was warranted (because I was making an unwarranted decision?!?). Additionally, I was told that due to COVID, I would not be able to be with him during his last moments..... I was appalled at the callous disregard for our difficult time and the fact that this was nothing more than an opportunity for the company to make the most money with the least amount of interaction. I will NEVER use Banfield for ANYTHING.

Took my aging 16 and a half year old golden retriever to the doctor at banfield pet hospital. The doctor said that my dog has what is called "Old Dog Syndrome.". She prescribed some medicine and said that all of her symptoms to go away within 2 weeks. I had never heard of Old Dog Syndrome and looked it up and she was spot-on. Every symptom my dog exhibited, was there for me to read....the tilting of her head, the dizziness she was experiencing, diarrhea, lack of appetite.... Everything she was experiencing. After two weeks, she was perfectly fine and we were very appreciative. the only thing we did not like was the bill was $249, which seemed like an awful lot of money, but then again we can never get away for under $200 when we take her to the doctor for anything. High price to pay for loving your dog.

Two awesome techs and a fantastic veterinarian! We saw them in an emergency and I could not be more impressed. I would go back there in a heart beat. They were fair priced and very sympathetic to budget needs. No unnecessary or unexpected costs! And they were so good with my dog. Truly awesome experience.
