I do not have enough good things to say about Pet Care Associates. When our Walter baby got sick, they were so gentle and loving with him throughout the whole process. You can tell they really care and love their patients. When our cat Walter ultimately passed, I let them know, and they sent us a beautiful and lovely card expressing their deepest condolences, where all the staff signed it and left touching messages. We will definitely continue to use their services for our future fur babies. <3

We have been using Oakwood Animal Hospital for 14 yrs and brought our Pom there on an emergency call this AM as we were leaving out to catch a flight in a few hours. We found out our vet had left the practice just recently and the receptionist was rude and uncaring that our dog was suffering. We took her to Pet Care not knowing what to expect, and they were extremely professional. They handled our Pom with the greatest of care and did all testing, meds and food that we would need.. We felt the cost was very reasonable for an emergency visit. We feel comfortable after their diagnosis and care of leaving our pet with leaving family as we catch a flight. We will definetly be back. The Dr. and the technicians were very thorough, caring, and friendly. I would have given 5 stars if the receptionist would have been friendlier. I thought she was rather short almost to the point of being rude. I will continue to use them due to the excellent care my dog was given. She might have been having a bad day, but she could have at least spared a smile.

This place turned a scary day into a comforting one. I had used them for the basic vaccinations a few months before...but a few days ago my fur baby had an emergency and this practice handled it with the best care. They took me right in. The staff was so caring and made me feel so much at ease when I felt my world was falling apart. The veterinarian answered all of my questions and when I called back with more, she came right back on the phone just ready and eager to help ease my concerns. You can tell she genuinely wants the best for your pet. Finding a vet that you can trust and know that you’re getting honest, and fair care is something to not pass up. Use this place.

I took my kitty, Joey, after calling about his situation while he was at another vet and Dr. Dodson saved his life. I have since had to bring my other cat to them. Kindness, compassion, attention to details, are just some of the qualities I attribute to them. I won't go anywhere else.

Callie is very shy and timid and Dr. Dodson and the staff are just super with her. We always know we'll get the best advice and treatment here!

These people really take or my Karley girl when i board her for the weekend. Not only that they keep her up to date with records and vaccinations on their time schedule. Customer service is top notch and they dont waste any of my time!

I have been taking my dogs to Pet Care Associates for 20 years. I am certain that the long and healthy lives of my dogs is due to the care they have received from the entire staff. Regardless of the reason for the visit, they always check the entire dog every time. They are, indeed, part of my family.

Dr. Dodson is a very caring and compassionate Vet. She took care of my Malti-poo for the past 8 years while she was affiliated with Forsyth Animal Hospital. She took excellent care of Yoshi. Congratulations on your own practice!

Pet Care is family to us. We have taken our dogs only to them since they started with Dr. Wynn many years ago. From Dr. Richard to Dr. Cox to Dr.Dotson, they treat both our pet (Mulberry) and us like we are part of their family. Mulberry is treated very special and loves every time she visits (after the initial apprehension). You can’t find a better place to treat and love your pet than Pet Care.

At the recommendation of a friend, I took my mini schnauzer with a UTI that wasn't resolving to Pet Care Associates. I was worked in for an urgent visit when another vet couldn't get us in. They recognized this as an urgent issue when even I didn't. She was seen on a Friday afternoon, diagnosed with bladder stones (too large and too many to dissolve/pass), and she was scheduled for surgery Monday morning. (They had to rearrange some cases to fit us in.) I was given all the meds, pricing estimate, and walked through the pre-op and post-op care. She was in such good hands and was returned to me Monday after the surgery. I was checked on via phone at least 3 times during that process, and I was so grateful. 5 Stars. I'll be bringing my other mini here, too.

I can’t say enough good things about Pet Care Associates!!! The old saying goes, you have one chance to make a first good impression! Let me just tell you, Ashley does an outstanding job!! Not only does she remember us every time I call or come in, regardless of how long it has been, she greets us with a ginormous smile (while doing 100 other things at the same time) making us feel like we are old friends. All of the techs are super friendly, extremely thorough making sure to get all of the details for the reason for our visit and always take the extra time to love on their “patients.” Dr. Cox is great, and I appreciate that he makes sure that we are given all of the information that we need. And Dr. Dodson - one word....AMAZING!!! If you want a vet that treats your pet like they are her own, she is the one to see. Our little Ravioli became extremely sick, which was not only scary for him but for us as well. She quickly diagnosed him and, while it was an emergent situation, she was calm, patient, compassionate and encouraging, which helped me to remain calm during an extremely serious and stressful situation. She literally saved his life. Thank you, Dr. Dobson, and your entire team for all that you do. You truly are the best of the best and we are so very grateful!

Our Husky Lyric is meek but scared and they treat her with such tenderness and love. Dr. Cox and now Dr. Oteri explained what they found, made suggestions and allowed us to pick the procedures that we wanted at this visit. Ashley the receptionist has always been especially loving to Lyric. We appreciate their expertise and kindness.

This practice has gone above and beyond for all my Animals!! DR DODSON THE NEW PRACTICE OWNER IS AWESOME AND THEY TAKE VERY GOOD CARE OF ALL OF OUR ANIMALS! I cant say enough about how WONDERFUL the WHOLE STAFF AND DOCTORS ARE! THEY ARE EXTREMELY THROUGH WITH EVERYTHING THEY DO AND GO OVER ESTIMATES BEFORE ANY TREATMENT OR PROCEDURE IS DONE. Under new ownership and it is HORRIBLE! Was once a wonderful, affordable vet hospital, now it’s all about money, not your animals best interest. Very Disappointing.

I wish I could leave a TEN STAR review!!! Pet Care Associates was able to do today what I had thought at one point was going to be completely impossible. Our fur-baby Maltipoo is terrified, to say the least, to be groomed. Today, I'm so beyond excited that he was able to be groomed by a highly skilled groomer and staff that helped us every step of the way. I can not begin to explain the relief that our family feels!! Thank you so so so much Pet Care Associates!!!

We have been going to Pet Care Associates for 3 years now. We have always seen Dr. Cox. He and his staff are great with my dog and cat. I’ve been to many veterinarians before with my animals and he is by far and away the best we have been to. I also like the fact they send you a card with your pets vaccinations. It is very useful when going to the groomers.

I have enjoyed their services for almost 10 years. They have always been so polite and helpful, especially at the end when we had to deal with a quick goodbye after 13 years of our precious Sassy. Dr. Cox was so kind and understanding, waiting for us to arrive and the whole team supported us through saying goodbye. Many years ago they also jumped to the rescue when I found an injured dog on the side of the road. They jumped in my truck, carefully put the dog in the back of the truck, took him/her to their office and cared for him/her. I've never forgotten their amazing response. My family can't thank them enough for all they do!!

Dr.Cox and his staff are absolute professionals. Dr. Cox will answer ANY and ALL questions you have about your pets health. Very fair prices, and small hometown treatment of clients, hard to find a clinic like this in today's corporate world. I highly, highly recommend.

Awesome Vet office! I just tried their new grooming service and they did an amazing job!! Always honest and nice staff.

Dr. Cox is efficient, caring, and reasonable. His staff always goes over the possible expenses before they perform any services. I am so pleased I found this practice, and dont know what I would do if they closed.
