I believe Dr. Casady is an excellent veterinarian. She was extremely helpful in making the painful decision regarding euthanasia of my beloved dog. Although she will not make the decision for you, she will, with intelligence and kindness, help you decide what is in the best interest of your pet. After helping me make my decision, she attended to the peaceful passing of my dog skillfully and with kindness.

We have used Heron's Crossing twice now – I highly recommend them. Dr Cassady is incredibly kind and gentle. She made both experiences peaceful and helped us through the difficult process with grace and compassion.

Dr. Lauren helped to make a difficult situation more bearable. She was patient, kind, and guided us each step of the way. My baby passed in the most peaceful way which in turn gave us peace.

Heron's Crossing was easy and accommodating to book, particularly with our short notice. Dr. Cassady arrived promptly at the agreed upon time with proper heads up. During the process, Dr Cassady's bedside manner was respectful, gentle, and warm. She made us all feel at ease. We were never rushed and felt reassured that our departing family member was in good hands. Thank you for providing this service as it was the best option we could have provided to our Dog and our household.

My dog went from kinda not feeling good to detrimental in a matter of a week. By Friday night he was suffering and we needed to euthanize as soon as possible. Heron's Crossing was able to come out on Saturday on very short notice when nobody else was available. I was so grateful for that blessing of not having to decide between making my dog end his life in a vet's office on a cold table or making him suffer until Monday. Lauren was so gentle and compassionate and made my sweet boy feel so comfortable that he wagged his tail for the first time that week. To him she was just a visitor coming to see him and not a vet. Please choose this option if you have to choose this route for your baby. Lauren made it such a peaceful experience for our family and our other dog and it really allowed me to accept and cope with what needed to be done.

The vet was absolutely terrific. She was sweet, kind, and smart. She arrived on time, put Max, my kittie, and me at ease and got us through this difficult time with great compassion.

They were extremely kind-hearted and very understanding and very compassionate about my entire situation with my baby. I also have to point out that the box I received her cremations in is so much better than the box I got my father in that cost my family almost $500. Their level of care and respect from what I saw was amazing and just very good. They really helped me and my family through the trying time of losing our fur baby. For anybody who finds themselves in the unfortunate circumstance of losing their furry friend I would suggest them wholeheartedly and completely to take care of the last necessities. Amazing people referred to me by an amazing vet.

Dr. Cassady was incredibly sweet, professional, understanding and compassionate. This was one of the hardest days we have faced, but she made the experience very peaceful and calm. Our big boy passed peacefully at home with his family around him. Thank you Dr. Cassady!

Dr. Lauren was incredibly patient and compassionate during the most difficult moments a pet owner could possibly have. She gave me as much time as I needed with my sweet Kyah, explained the process in detail and answered all of my questions. I highly recommend her for anyone in this heartbreakingly unfortunate situation with their pet.

Dr Lauren Cassidy was perfect for my pup Domino. She was calm and understood when we wanted a little space. She was there exactly when we needed her to be and made us feel very comfortable. She came with a small plastic container to clip some of Domino's hair off to keep and a little clay paw imprint for a keepsake. In such a stressful and sad time in my life I am very thankful her services made me feel comfortable, without adding any stress or worries.

Dr. Cassady was incredible and we couldn’t have asked for a better partner to help us get through making the tough decision to say goodbye to our cat Lucy. What can I say - she was, said, and did everything that you would want if you were in that situation. She was patient, kind, reassuring, gentle, and loving, and as hard as it was, our cat passed in the best way possible. For that we are forever grateful. I am so glad we did not take our cat to the vet and opted to do it at home. As a result we were able to give her the best last day possible. Dr. Lauren is an angel on earth. She helped our fur baby of 19 years, Chocolate, transition so peacefully at home on June 18, 2021. She along with her staff were very responsive and caring. My dog died Thursday night after a rapid decline in liver function, before his scheduled appointment with Dr. Lauren the next morning. While I didn’t use the euthanasia services offered, I can’t emphasize the kindness, empathy and professionalism from this team. From booking a euthanasia appointment in less than 24 hours to trying to help me find a different provider when it was clear he wouldn’t even live that long to refunding me immediately when they got notification of my baby’s death, this is a truly wonderful group of people that helped me through a terrible time, and that clearly seems to be their #1 priority.

Our experience with Heron's Crossing was excellent from start to finish. Scheduling the appointment was handled with compassion and thorough efficiency, both of which are important when making arrangements for one of life's most painful experiences. Payment and consent forms were quick and easy to complete via email. Most importantly, Dr. Lauren's kind, unimposing disposition set our boy at ease and made his transition gentle and peaceful. Even the care with which she handled him after his passing was reverential. I know how much we want our furbabies to experience the best care possible; writing this review breaks my heart for any of you who have the necessity to read it. But trust me when I tell you Heron's Crossing is the right choice. Dr. Lauren has the experience, expertise, and compassion to facilitate a peaceful passing for your pet.

I was referred to Dr. Cassady by my vet. As it turned out, I think it was actually better to deal with this heart-wrenching experience at home. I was surprised by that. But my dog was more comfortable; she was treated with the utmost kindness and respect. And my other dog, I think, has some idea of what happened. Dr. Cassady could not have been kinder or more professional.

Dr. Cassady was so kind and gentle with our Bella when her time came. She gave us time to say our goodbyes, and made the process as comfortable and quick as she could for our Bella. These things are never easy, but I am grateful our girl was given such a comfortable, loving send off. Thank you Dr. Cassady.

Dr. Cassady helped my three sibling cats cross over at ages 8, 10, and 12, starting in 2016 with the last one just recently. It was difficult to lose them prematurely from cancer as I adored them. Dr. Cassady and her office staff were very responsive and so caring. It was comforting to have her by my side during the difficult decision points and at their actual crossings which were very peaceful. With the first one, I had Dr. Cassady take the body to the crematorium; however, for the other two, I did it myself. I cleaned them up, took plenty of fur clippings, and just held them and cried. This was gut-wrenching yet an important part of my healing process. Do carefully consider how you want to handle this. There is no right way to do any of this except your way.

Dr. Lauren helped us through this incredibly difficult process. She was caring and gentle with our sweet Rigby. She let us take the time we needed to say goodbye. ????❤️????

During a very difficult time for our family, Lauren was so compassionate and very patient. Letting our sweet Chessie go was very difficult for us. She was such a part of our family. Having her come to our home was what we wanted. Chessie was in her comfortable place and this meant so very much to us. She eased our pain with her caring and compassionate care. When I made the decision to have my beloved dog, Crash, sent to heaven I knew that I wanted the transition to take place at my home. Yesterday was a hard day. However, I had the chance to be at home in his backyard and make Havoc's transition peaceful. Dr. Lauren made a tough day better by being patient and kind. She didn't rush me and allowed me to say goodbye my way. I am so thankful that I was able to transition Havoc at his house and not a vet's office. I can't thank them enough for giving me the opportunity to send my boy to the Rainbow Bridge in the way I did. Highly Recommend.

She was so patient and kind during the process for our elderly Bichon Frise. She waited until my daughters had said their goodbyes, explained each step of the process and just showed so much compassion. I would recommend her to anyone who has to go through this sad experience.

Dr. Lauren was so compassionate and loving when helping my 20 year-old kitty cross the rainbow bridge. She did such a great job explaining the procedure and let us take as much time with the old girlie as we needed.
