Staff were incredibly kind and helpful, extremely caring for all of the pets and making sure they were comfortable. Our results were very clear and they explained it all and answered any questions we had, definitely a clinic you can trust

Very helpful, willing to answer any questions, reasonable price, gave us feeder food, and handled our leopard gecko (Spaghetti) like he was their own. Will be going back, will definitely recommend.

The best! Far from my house but worth the trip for exotics.

I've been coming to For Pet's Sake since 2016. The staff and the service is wonderful. Dr Henderson recently saw our bunny Maggie that has been having reoccurring eye issues, and he is always very knowledgeable on rabbit health!

You are at the bottom of the pecking order if you have sick backyard chickens and need a vet. Appointment availability is a 2.5 week or more wait. The male receptionist was heartless about my situation and offered no advise.

A great place for you non-traditional pets! In addition to wonderful vet care they also provide boarding.

This was my first visit to For Pet's Sake, and I am blown away by the care the staff showed to my leopard gecko, Ravioli. When I called to make the appointment, the staff was incredibly responsive and helpful with my questions as this was my first time there. When we arrived, we were quickly brought back to the exam room and the vet tech as well as Dr. Hung were incredibly caring when handling and examining my Ravioli. They listened to all my concerns, gave me lots of information and made sure to go the extra mile to make sure my pet was well taken care of. Ravioli had pieces of stuck shed in his eye, which was causing him a lot of discomfort. Dr. Hung did an amazing job of getting it out carefully, checking for any additional damage to the eye, and flushing it out thoroughly but gently. It was so apparent to me during the appointment that she was incredibly knowledgeable about leopard geckos, which is a huge relief for a pet parent as we only want the best for our little exotics! I knew immediately we were in good hands and I could 100% trust her. I am SO pleased with the care, I cannot say it enough. Amazing place.

Professional and friendly staff. They are honest and caring. After the pasding of my daughter's chicken they sent her a condolence card...after having checked on them by phone.

Unfortunately, when I brought my Guinea pig here we discovered she had some medical issues we couldn't resolve and we had to let her go. It was very hard for my family. The staff here was very supportive, kind and reassuring. They took great care of our baby. I'm very grateful we found them.

My bearded dragon has an eye infection, I took him here to get checked out. They claimed it was an eye cap that got lodged and sent me on my way with a medication that did not help at all. I also stated multiple times I wanted him checked for a parasite and I had concerns about his stool, they didn’t check and he still has the infection and it got worse after the visit. The overall visit was over $170 to wait for two hours and have them check him for a few minutes. When I asked to be checked again or prescribed something else they wanted to charge me an extra $170. Which is absurd. I asked if there was at least a discount because they didn’t find the issue the first time and was refused. I told them I didn’t want to have to take him back and forth an hours drive and spend that much to have the issue get worse and the woman on the phone said it could probably take up to ten visits to figure out the problem and that bearded dragons were expensive. I know they’re expensive but doing your job right is a different story, no one has 1700$ to throw to people who aren’t even helping. Very disappointed by this place. Will not be coming back.

We spent so much money for this place and they cant even treat our ferrets ' diarrhea. The animal is suffering and all they care is making more money out of us. No moral of a Vet.

This was my pet rabbit first vet visit I was nervous since I wouldn't be able to walk in but the staff was really nice. Their new place looks great, the doctor was really nice and communicated well with me. I recommend this place for rabbit owners.

We have been coming to this practice for decades. We've always had lots of animals, especially birds. The staff here are always courteous and professional. Vet was so great about calling with daily updates and info, they don't act rushed and answered all questions. The vets are amazing, and have such compassion ❤ for humans and animals alike. We have had 2 unexpected terrible animal losses recently. They were incredibly comforting, cared enough to even send condolence cards and a beautiful plant to us. And Dr Burchfield, Stacy, Debbie, Katie, y'all rock. ???????????????????????????? thank you for all you do.

Dr. Hill and Dr. Hung have taken such great care of my pet rat. They’ve been very kind and understanding whilst given Bijou the best care possible. I’m beyond grateful for this vet!

My wife took our rat (Koala) here for ear infection. They gave her medication and charged her almost 200$. The medication didn't work and my pet rat doesn't feel good. I called them and they said you can try another medication. It will cost extra 70 $. When your medication doesn't work and you charge to change it, all you care about is money. They don't care about your pet.

Thank you Dr hill and your staff. I know she is a chicken ???? Aka....pinky, but it helps kept my mother that 81 years old, doing some things that she can still do. A little high with money but she will make it. Thanks again, Tyla Calderwood and Maja Peck

Edit: I am editing my original 5 review due to a recent experience. A few weeks ago I took my rabbit to For Pets Sake because he had GI stasis. After taking blood and x-rays, the Dr told me they saw he had an enlarged kidney, had potential kidney failure, and needed surgery. They recommended I hospitalize him or take him to UGA (2+ hours from me) to get a surgery consultation. I thought I was already at a rabbit vet... I was recommended to me that I take him to Windward hospital for a second opinion. Well, I did, and they saw no enlarged kidney. His values were high but they said it wasnt alarming and he could be treated with antibiotics at home. A week later, he was back to normal. I do believe the antibiotics prescribed by For Pets Sake played a role in his recovery, but I almost drove 2 hours with my rabbit for an uneccessary surgery. Windward is now my primary vet. Original review: For Pet's Sake got me through a difficult time losing my rabbit. They let me in to say goodbye despite the pandemic. Everyone is very professional and kind, and all of the services I've had so far have been fairly priced. I cant recommend them enough. Thank you Drs Hutcheson and Burchfield.

I found a baby squirrel who was injured and still had his eyes shut. Since I found him over the weekend, I cleaned him up and rehydrated and feed diluted cats milk for 3 days before I dropped him off at the hospital. He was doing great and hopefully pets sake will train him and drop Mr Gilly back in the woods.

The people here really care about doing what is best for your animal! I have taken several of my animals there (geckos, lizards, frogs, etc) and every time they have had the best interest of my animals in mind. I plan to keep taking my animals here for as long as I live in Georgia!
