My Mother’s dog lives in a assisted living facility that has been on lock down for months. During that time her little Frankie had become heavily matted and shaggy. Pet Smart did the best they could do with a heavily matted dog. Frankie did developed bilateral ear hematomas and an Infected abscess after his grooming. I revised my review after discussing the issue with their manager and googling how it can happen to matted, thin skinned, white dogs from shaking their heads after groom and the trauma of removing the matts from his ear tips. We will not allow him to get so matted again, lesson learned. Apologies to the manager, your team didn’t deserve a bad review. Thanks for taking in the task of clipping Frankie.

This place used to be awesome and filled with employees that truly cared about animals and ones that (from personal experience) gave you GREAT advice on things like cat/dog/fish/reptile care. They recently did a mass firing and hiring…and the new people could care less. I used to go to fish section and get great advice and care directions. Now, I get “oh I have no idea” and “I just had to say that cause it’s company policy…” Pre-firing, my fiancé got a gecko and we talked to the PetSmart rep for 10-15 minutes and got GREAT instructions and tips. Post-firing, I have bought two fish in a row that had horrible infections (I pointed the spots out before they grabbed the fish out of the tank and was told “oh no that’s normal”). Now, I have had to search forever just to find a rep every time I’ve been and it’s really obvious they’re not there because they care like the old employees. My family will be going to a different location for the next few months, really hope they bring back the employees that would welcome you and make you excited about your pets

Stopped in to check out their guinea pig selection, they only had 2 so my daughter wanted to look elsewhere. I noticed immediately that this location is not as clean as the ones we usually go to. I mean you can visibly see the floors are very dirty. Lots of empty cages too in the small animal section.

Just moved to the state and were grateful to find a PetSmart that did a wonderful job with Grooming, Cleanliness and Team Member knowledge and kindness.

Great well stocked store but do not get your dog groomed here. Yikes they do not know what they’re doing and will just shave them…

I've been to this store a few times, every time I go they never have a good selection of puppy/adult royal canin dry food for dogs . Not a good selection of collars etc either.

Decent pet shop more attuned to to cats and dogs. They do have excellent prices on aquariums. Service is a little short sometimes.

Many live pets were missing but the free water check for my aquarium was great. The best part is the passionate pet lovers who work there. They give some great tips!

Got what I needed, but the line at the registers was unusually long. The wait to pay was about 15 minutes. The bar code scanner at the register where I checked out was not working so everything had to be typed in. The clerk was friendly and proficient.

Their fish selection is absolutely hideous. They hardly have any fish to choose from, and more than half of their display tanks don’t even have fish in them. Bettas are about all they have, crammed into tiny little cups with lids: abusive if you ask me. Not impressed at all .

An ok shopping experience. Store does not stink of ferrets like in other big pet stores. Very good Food variety. I would give 5 stars but the front sliding doors make the LOUDEST SQWUAK! I almost peed in my pants. My eardrums hurt. A good store Mgr. Would have the door fixed immediately and there’s a Home Depot next door. Pleasant staff. Store clean. Parking lot clean. Fix the sliding doors.

Great for a big retail store. Place was quiet, clean, and had what I was looking for so they are keeping their stock up. Employees were friendly and helpful, even though I surprised them (it was really early). In the past, they have done awesome adoption events, including greyhound rescue, which is Awesome. Hope they are able to start doing those again soon. Oh and if you need toys for your pup, they're covered up! Highly recommend.

So disappointing. Brought my dog in for a FURminator grooming which is supposed to curb shedding. It was as if they didn't treat her at all. I waited a couple weeks to see if it would improve, but it didn't. When I call them to rectify, they basically tell me to book another appointment, which soonest is three weeks out. Tried to talk to Manager but he is unavailable. Just forget it - they don't care, and I will just go somewhere else. Sheesh
