Scott is an amazing vet but more importantly a caring and giving person. Our 10 year old lab was having issues walking and just functioning as a whole. Dr. McDermott came to our house this past Sunday in the rain to give our family friend an assessment and then went to his clinic to get medication to treat him. I have never had someone go out of thier way, especially ona Sunday when he was closed, to help our friend out. That shows that he truly does care about the animal in question. What a great person and vet. I highly highly highly recommend you use Weems road vet clinic. You will get genuine care from an exceptional individual

Started out OK.. But lately... Well since Fauxvid it's been like contacting Driver Services. The phone rings or the answering machine picks up.. But you never quite get a human Sadly gonna switch to a new vet

We recently had to put our 11 year old lab down due to health issues. Dr. Cowley and the vet tech assisting her were so kind and patient with us. It was one of the hardest things we've had to do, but they made the experience a little more bearable for my husband and I.

I wanted to follow back up with a new google review on this wonderful vet. In a time and place that we are in right now you long for someone that is caring and understands your grief when you have a pet that is on it's last days on this earth. To have compassion with you and your family during this time. We were faced with putting our lab down of 13 years. Like any pet she was the best dog ever and brought our blended family together when we needed her. The vet helped us make our decision of what needed to be done and came to our home so the family could be together during this difficult time. There are not enough words that I can say about how wonderful this vet is. I have been going here since 1989 and so thankful for the new facility and doctors. They have brought with them compassion and a clear understanding of taking care of not only our pets but us also. Thanks for going the extra mile during a very difficult time.

Over the weekend, my little 15 year old fur baby, Zoey, was not herself. I got an appointment Monday morning. Dr Humphries was so sweet, companionate and sympathetic. Poor Zoey had real problems and the best for her would be to let her go. I was so very distraught. After my husbands passing, she was my constant companion. Dr Humphries gave her a pain injection so I could bring her home and hold her one more night. I went in Tuesday morning and said goodbye. It was so hard. Friday I got a beautiful sympathy card from Dr Humphries. I just want to thank everyone at Weems Road Animal Hospital.

Please take your money and pets somewhere else.

10/10 !!! My dog daryl has been going to Weems road for almost a year now and he loves it. Weems rod animal hospital is the only vet that he walks into without having to be dragged or carried. He has always been well taken care of by Dr. Scott Mcdermott. Kind staff and beautiful clinic.

This business could careless about the residents in the area. Dogs start barking between 6 and 630 a.m everyday. A little later on Saturday and Sundays. Total disregard for the residents can't open your windows for fresh air. There should be some kind of noise ordinance they have to adhere to.

My GSD is a patient in the physical therapy rehabilitation program. She is preparing for hip replacement surgery at UGA next month. I've had the most positive experience with Candice. Candice is compassionate and gentle with my girl and no matter how busy she is, will always answer any questions. Candice always has a smile on her face and provides outstanding service to make sure my baby is well cared for. She has an outstanding work ethic and goes out of her way to be helpful. Thank you Candice for caring!

Marty was well taken care of there. Unfortunately, there were new doctors every time we went there for a check up.

They will charge you a $150 fee for an emergency appointment , plus $49 and any other necessary treatments and their only justification is "it's policy". Yet you CAN'T even come in ASAP you have to wait hours later. There's NO such thing as an emergency appointment. You are basically paying $199 to be seen eventually. No other vet has this policy, I went elsewhere and received a same day appointment with NONE of those EXTRA fees.

I absolutely recommend never had any issues

We have a very difficult dog in our home who trusts no one in the "white" Vet coat. The entire staff at Weems Road is very caring and understanding of all of our pets needs. Very Grateful to have them in Columbus.

I was so disappointed in this place. I never chose this place. Our cat was transferred here because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Her regular Doctor was Dr. Young at the All Cat Clinic. Our 19 year old was losing a lot of weight so we took her to the Weems Road Animal Clinic. They said that she was dying and she was in the final stages of kidney failure and recommended that we put her to sleep. So we took her to the River Road Animal Hospital for a second opinion because this cat may be old but she has a lot of life left in her. The Doctor there, Dr. Houston checked her out and said that she was perfectly healthy except she has a thyroid issues. Dr. Houston prescribed some medication and our cat is now gaining weight and is healthy and happy. Thank God we didn’t listen to the people at Weems Road Animal Hospital.

Had an appointment for 1015, wife waited inside her car until 1100 before they came to get my dog? First bad experience here.

I needed a vet to do a health certificate for my dog and Weems Road Animal Hospital was the only vet in Columbus that was able to help me. Shout out to Hannah in particular who was absolutely amazing at helping me figure out what all I would need to get my fur baby through the flight as easily as possible!

We recently switched to Weems Road Animal Hospital on the recommendation of a friend when our vet moved out of state. From our first appointment, I've been really impressed. Their COVID safety measures are great, and they're doing everything curbside during the pandemic. Recently, our much loved 10-year-old dog Baby has been having health problems, and Dr. Humphries suggested we get a heart workup from a specialist. Unfortunately, the specialist found a tumor on Baby's heart. I had just arrived home from the specialist appointment when Dr. Humphries from Weems Road Animal Hospital called to tell me she had just read the specialist's report. She said she was very sorry and asked if we wanted a referral to Auburn. Her proactiveness and kindness made me realize we definitely made the right choice of a new veterinarian. I highly recommend Weems Road if you need a vet that truly cares about you and your pets in the Columbus, GA area.

Really poor customer service and as rude as can be.

Had to make an emergency appointment for my kitten. Customer service was absolutely wonderful, the process was super easy and timely considering the pandemic, and the vet was absolutely wonderful explaining everything to me. We will definitely be bringing all of our animals back.

I can not tell you what a blessing they were. My baby got very sick very fast and they made his last few days so comfortable. I really want to say thank you to Frauka. She is what I would wish on anyone to have in a situation like that you can tell how passionate she is about her job. She was what I needed in that time and I can not express how mush she impacted the process. Thank you so much.

The entire staff are very knowledgeable, kind, and compassionate. I am forever grateful for the care they provide for all of my animals, and the compassion they showed when I recently lost my senior dog.

My Saint Bernard puppy was extremely ill. We went to three different vets including the Auburn University pet hospital, where we were told our boy had no chance of survival, and the most humane thing we could do for him was euthanize him. …

I have been taking my two pups here for all their checkups since I got them. Weems was recommended to me by a friend and I have had encounters with all of their fantastic veterinary staff. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. They take the time to explain everything and address any questions or concerns I may have. I have never had any issues getting appointments scheduled and on more than one occasion have been able to drop in day of to see a vet when one of the puppies were sick. They go above and beyond and I would recommend them to any of my friends.

Both of my fur babies were well taken care of by the amazing staff. They were great explaining everything when it came to vaccinations,flea,tick, and heartworm medications options. Plus the cost didn't break the bank. I will definitely be back you, guys really eased my mind. Thanks????
