Parking needs to be improved but great vets!

Nice people at the front desk. Dr. was helpful. Took care of my dog and she is doing better.

The best veterinary services in Columbus by far. If you love your pets like you love your kids and grandkids or close friends, this is the vet for you. Dr. Specials, Dr. Brooks, and Dr. Glass and their staff are wonderful with animals. They are thorough with examinations and if you ever board your pets here they don't hesitate to call if they notice an issue needing treatment and following up with their recommendations and the outcome. They also keep great documentation of your pets daily activities and intake of food and water. If I could give them 10 stars, I would for cleanliness, professionalism, courtesy, compassion, and affordability.

Kind, caring, and attentive staff and Dr's that care for each furry baby and parent. I'm so glad we found them, since and made the change since Dr Hank Hall retired. He was our cat's Dr for 20+ yrs, but since he retired our cats had to schedule an appointment to get sick, in order to be seen by the same clinic. Unfortunately, animals like humans, don't get sick on the schedule that suites us, so we can plan ahead and pencil it in. No, we need to call sometimes 12-24hrs ahead of time to make an appointment, if one is available once in a while. Anyways, Macon Rd is GREAT! I'M SO GLAD we prayed God would take us somewhere to take good care of our babies, and He did! Thank you Macon Rd Animal Clinic!

Not impressed! After reading reviews decided to take our new pup there. It was like pulling teeth, after waiting 1 hour the vet looked like she was ready to go home, we had so many questions and got very short answers, Also we were concerned with one of her eyes and possibly needing surgery for cherry eye, she didn’t schedule a follow up or nothing, she is already scheduled at another vet we luckily found when eye looked worse a few days after. Also after not being asked and staff assuming we were only there for shots, we had to ask for the basics… like can she get a microchipped ? Can we get nails trimmed? Can we get the rabies shot too? so we can take to groomers asap! And they did it and of course they update the charge immediately. seemed like they just wanted us in and out. The $200 + bill with no discounts of any kind even after filling out the initial paperwork and being asked if any of us was in the service and even what rank but yet no discount. So strange! Will not be returning. Do not recommend!

Professional treatment and super service for our dog.

Took our dog "Maggie" here for emergency surgery, a blood blister growth popped while we were in Columbus and we were afraid she would bleed out before driving 45miles to our hometown Vet. We had already known Macon Road Veterinary is the best Vet in Columbus so we called and asked if they could work our dog in and they did even though they were full with their other clients. The whole staff and doctors were very accommodating. I highly recommended their services and if we lived in Columbus they would be our full time vet.

Great staff and super clean facilities!

The staff is great. The prices are fair. I've used them for all of my dogs for the past 25 years. I moved to the north end of town and tried others for "convenience" but I always go back. From now on, I'll only take my dog here.

My dog has anxiety and is usually afraid of people; but, he absolutely adores TJ and Jackson. With a lot of bribes and pet they're able to clip his nails with minimal issues. Their appointment times are reasonable and the front desk staff are genuinely kind people. If you have an urgent need to see a vet, they will work with you the best they can and try to help. They're super compassionate and so understanding. They are the best vet I've ever been to and I am also happy I found them.

In and out in a flash. I did t have an appointment, but they fit me in anyway. Staff was very friendly for 7:30 am. Highly recommend it.

Terrible. Update: I never thought I would have to lower my rating or change vets, but it is starting to look that way and it's over a medication, that up till now, Macon Road carried. Comfortis, the oral flea medication, is no longer carried by Macon Road vet. The other options, which are topical do not last as long. In order to get it from another vet, my pets have to be patients there. In order to get it from a pet supply, like Chewy, you have to mail prescriptions to them. Petco and PetSmart do not carry it. All of this further delays getting the medication. This whole situation is not just a hassle, it's almost untenable. With no other oral flea options for our pets we are being forced to find another vet. It's a sad day for our family. Further update. I guess it's the Doctors perogative to 'fire' a patient. We were fired over this disagreement about Comfortis. So instead of trying to discuss it, they decided to have one of the assistants call and inform us not to come back for pet treatment. No skin off our backs. Lots of vets in the area. Just seems rather petty. Don't do business here. Just another note and one I was not going to bring up until this happened. They hired a new vet fresh out of school. Her treatment plan for a cats broken toe was to cast the entire leg. The cat nearly lost the leg due to moisture and the cat licking the cast. I checked with other vets, total wrong treatment. You care for your pets, got to Macon Rd with caution. You've been warned.

Excellent staff! Friendly, welcoming staff. Environment clean and orderly. Vet techs Handel the pets well, gives you info regarding your pet, prompt with little waiting time. The vets are just great!! Love this place. They are the best.

It was a 1st time visit for me and our rescue pup. They made friends with Beary right away and I felt comfortable leaving him there. They did a great job, next time, because of my allergies we'll do fragrance free, which is an option!

Walked in and had pre paid for my services over the phone. The young lady at the front desk did not acknowledge my presence until she finished whatever she was doing. Then upon picking up my dog from boarding, was advised that they left a day of boarding off of the bill. I had to pay additional money, which was not a problem, but the attitude of the clerk at the desk was less than pleasant and they should have handled it better since it was their mistake. We've been customers for almost 10 years, but the front desk staff has not been the best lately.

This clinic has become my Shepherd primary care provider and the service for both times I've been there has been nothing less than great. Got me in right at my appointment times and out fairly quickly. Great place if you ask me.

Absolutely love the staff... professionalism at its best as well as their customer service. My dog loves coming here which makes me feel more than comfortable boarding her for me to travel be it personal of for work!!

Don’t leave your fur babies here! I wish I could give them Less than 1 star. Took my dogs here for a long weekend and requested they get a bath and nailed trimmed upon pickup. When I arrived to pick my dogs up, 1 pup was covered in fecal matter and the other was sticky and smelled of urine. They obviously hadn’t been bathed or had their nails trimmed and were not kept in healthy, sanitary conditions. The staff didn’t seem to care and weren’t helpful in getting answers of why the dogs were a mess. Completely unprofessional and absolutely disgusting. Take your sweet animals somewhere else. I know 100% we will not be returning.
