We recently moved in the area and this was our first visit to this facility. While getting our dogs their yearly shots one of them got very anxious and wasn’t allowing the staff to work on him. Despite protocols due to Covid they allowed my husband to go inside to help keep him calm so that they could work in him, stressing that they didn’t want that visit to be traumatic to him. The staff was very friendly and we were very happy

This clinic loves to do things to your animal that you did not ask for or discuss with them. Then when you call them out on it you get a condescending and nasty attitude back from them. This happened our last visit which led to me requesting past and future treatments of our animal so that we could know exactly what was going to be done to him at each appointment. We went for his heart worm pill this morning and they informed us that because I requested his treatment records last visit, that this meant I was going to find another vet. They basically got their feelings hurt and implied that they didn’t want our business anymore. Needless to say we are perfectly fine that with that. I would rather go somewhere that I can trust and that won’t make my decisions for me.

We took a 9 week old kitten to them and they said he had an sinus infection, two days later he isn’t eating and has a hernia now with severe pain. We asked how much to put him to sleep and they wouldn’t even give us a discount and they knew he wasn’t going to live. We paid over $202 for the visit and can cat food they wanted us to feed him.

We love Benning Animal Hospital! We have been using them for close to 15 years. Dr. Riddick and staff have always gone above and beyond when it comes to our fur babies. When our cat Tiki was really sick and needed attention they were always willing to work with our schedule and even known to stay late a time or two to ensure she had the best care available. When our dog Ripple was sick a vet tech even met us on Sunday for medicine.

Nurse Tech Kelly and the veterinarian went the extra mile for my mom's cat. The process of getting the former feral cat shots, flea treatment and nail trimming was smooth, plus they treated us with patience and kindness.

Today was my first and last time coming to this tacky establishment . Never in my life have I dealt with a more unprofessional staff and money hungry staff in my entire life! The service itself was okay, but the customer service was completely rude and unprofessional. I would never recommend a soul here !! Shut this establishment down!!!!

I have been going to Benning Animal Hospital for years and each time the experience have been Excellent, or even better. From the front to the staff in the back and of course the doctor. Will recommend to all 110% and I must add my dog does not like to get shot, he give the staff a tough time but they understand and do all they can to take care of my boy Julio. Thank a 1000 !!

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Riddick and her team. She went out of her way to ensure that my Dobermans ears were healing correctly. Her staff is all extremely friendly and helpful. They all communicated with me so well throughout the process to make sure everyone was on the same page. I am so glad that I used Dr. Riddick!

My first visit to Benning animal hospital was wonderful. They are very professional and care about you're fur babies. They took good care of my poodle maxwell and when he came out he was in good spirits. No shaking or crying. The doctor came out and talked to me and was very nice. I highly recommend Benning animal hospital.

Worst veterinary clinic in Columbus. Staff are rude and money hungry and will not even allow customers to buy flea medication that is available off-the-shelf. Will never go to this location again

Phenomenal staff and veterinarian doctors. My furry family has been going here for several years with some of the pets only a couple weeks old to one that was provided senior to end of life care. Truly compassionate staff, and all costs and options are discussed before anything is done. Highly recommend, wish we could take them with us when we have to leave Columbus.

The staff yell at you for their incompetence and errors in the system. Little blonde doctors named Tabitha Wright DVM are unprofessional and like to curse at paying customers. None of my babies will be going here anymore.

It was my first experience with any of my animals I’ve ever owned. The staff was very friendly and cling to my fur baby as their own. The staff and vet explained everything to be in detail with every last thing they did to my baby. They even showed me how to give him his pill and gave me multiple tips about an issue I had with my puppy. This will be our permanent veterinary family ????????

Yesterday my best friend and son passed away at Benning Animal Hospital.#WayneWilson! The staff there went beyond their means to try and save him and I can't thank you guys enough. You made him comfortable during and after giving us time to spend with him privately. Once again thank you guys so much!!!????????

This a review a long time coming. In 2016, my dog, Sonny, experienced paralysis and lost the use of his hind legs. It was devastating. I took him to Auburn for their Vet school to do tests. Their recommendation was to outfit a cart for Sonny and start physical therapy. I love Sonny, so, I would do whatever I could, as long as I could afford it. Auburn estimated physical therapy would be $90 a day, Monday - Friday and I would have to leave Sonny in their care for the week and pick him up for the weekends. I knew I could not do that, not just financially but, being away from him that long every week would take an emotional toll, as well. I searched in Columbus for any Animal Hospital which would do physical therapy. All that I contacted said they did not do it, until I called Benning Road. While they did not have a set physical therapy program, they offered to meet with Sonny and see if they could come up with a regimen that would help him. We decided on three days a week, all day, they would begin helping Sonny, hopefully, recover and be able to walk again - with our without a cart. Well, let me tell you, they worked miracles. After only 6 months of therapy, Sonny was able to walk - albeit unsteadily. Another 4 months and he was able to run again. I still take him there for weekly sessions and he LOVES them - you can tell. I cannot recommend a place more than Benning Road.

This review is a bit overdue for us, but its still as relevant as it was on our first visit. After an emergency with our pup, Hank, we were told leaving the emergency vet, “No vet will turn your dog away when they see his bloodwork. Take …

Friendly staff. The reception area is little small but they also have boarding area as well as the offices are located in the back. Only issue is there is not big area for them to walk your dogs due to it location. I recommend taking your pets there for treatment. Never had any issues with any aggressive animals in the waiting area at this location.

The staff at Benning Animal Hospital are the best!!! I take my Penny there, and although she is a bit skittish by nature, the fact that they are so loving and understanding certainly makes me feel at ease whenever she is under their care. My daughter's dog, Paisley, who happens to be Penny's sister used to go there but relocated to ATL. She also loooooooooves them, and it showed each and every time she went for bath or yearly check ups.

Very bad experience. My dog had trouble of breathing and I called them at least 10-15 times just to try to make an appointment ( they don’t see walk in), lady who answered the phone was very rude and left me on hold and never got back to me. I’m so disappointed with their services, I would never recommend them to anyone.

We see Dr. Riddick at Benning Animal Hospital for our dog who suffers from epileptic seizures. In short, I can sum up our experiences and opinions by saying that the 77 miles we drive to get to Benning Animal Hospital is very much worth it!
