VCA Peachtree Animal Hospital Chamblee, Georgia

I've taken my pet here for a few years now and the doctors are always so friendly. Dr. Daugherty and Dr. Thorndyke are both wonderful and always helpful. I have never encountered any issues here. They have a Care Club membership that allows you to pay a monthly fee instead of per visit. You get unlimited vet visits and some vaccines and tests included. They also have meds for your pet here but the prices are higher than elsewhere. Overall I am happy with the care they have given my pet.

I have a highly sensitive and anxious golden doodle (Leo) who cannot tolerate grooming. His anxiety causes him to have seizures and needs to be sedated in order to be groomed. His hair gets matted due to its curly nature and causes great discomfort. Sedation must be done by a veterinarian. I am so grateful I found you guys!! The doctor and staff are very thorough and cautious. They really treat pets like people. I got an appointment right away and was treated with kindness and compassion. I didn’t have to wait all day to pick my baby up! They made sure he was comfortable and didn’t have to wait in a kennel and go through unnecessary anxiety. Thank you for everything!!!

I had to have a dog of mine euthanized today and even though she was a recent addition to my life we had developed a strong bond and it was a very difficult thing to have to do, but the professionalism and the empathy of the staff helped tremendously. They are all amazing human beings, especially Dr. Wolfe. She made sure that I had as much time as needed to stay goodbye and made sure that my dog was completely comfortable in every way! Thank you all so much for your amazing attitudes and professionalism!

Massively overpriced, yet good service. They quoted me $730 (after a $230 consultation) to get my dogs cracked premolar removed. I got it done for $130 at another reputable vet. Run FAR AWAY. They take advantage of their customers.

In the beginning when I bought my sick cat they seemed to care but in a short time they shower how much they didn’t.

Treated my dog in a professional manner...maybe not warm & fuzzy but appropriately. Very pricey compared to other vets and even compared to the same location under the orig vet a few yrs ago but...satisfied and my dog is recovered.

Very responsive to a semi-emergency issue and got our problems addressed. Still adhering to CDC Guidelines regarding Office visits but very professional.

My dog is 10 and she needed to have her teeth cleaned. These guys did a great job and my dog was well treated while she was there. They called me after I got her home to check on her and scheduled a follow up appointment for 30 days later. I would highly recommended this vet for your pet!

It's the best Mexican food in Doraville. Very authentic and fresh. It's a little pricier than what you may expect, but the quality keeps me coming back

My family has used this vet for years for our dogs and I recently tried to take my mother-in-law's dog there to get some feedback on a fatty tumor that was developing on her back. I called and scheduled an appointment in the afternoon and cancelled my last work-related calls to be able to pick my son up early from daycare and still have time to grab my mother-in-law's dog. I managed to get to the clinic 5 minutes before my appointment and saw that per their new COVID guidelines that no one is allowed entry into the clinic (which is completely reasonable and the new standard). Rather than enter, they asked that their clients call their number to notify the team of your arrival. I called the clinic number a couple of times and it went straight to voicemail. The staff periodically looked out the window at me but no one decided to come out until about 15 minutes after my appointment time. The staff member asked if I needed help and I mentioned that I had tried to call to let them know I had arrived for my appointment to which she interrupted me and said that their phones weren't working. Rather than taking my dog back, she said they would send someone out soon. 25 minutes after my appointment I gave up and drove home and almost immediately they were miraculously able to use a phone (that apparently wasn't working before to be able to confirm if I had arrived for the appointment) to call and ask why I had left. I know that times are challenging, but other businesses have found a way to continue to offer professional services without leaving you sitting in your car for 25 minutes after you've gone through the trouble to make an appointment.

This was our dogs first check up since adopting him and everything about the experience was top notch. The staff is caring and knowledgeable. We look forward to returning to see them.

We didn't like the service here. They take your dog inside for vaccines, they come out and you don't even know if they did it. Their prices are very expensive, make sure you check the medicine on Chewy first (they matched the price, sometimes you can save 50%). They have half price Wednesdays but you have to pay the 65 dollars consultation so and it up been more expensive. Banfield by whole foods in chamble is a better place.

Dr. Gracia is probably the best vet in the world. Been taking our cats to see her for the past few years and I never worry about them when they're in her care, or the rest of the staff at VCA Peachtree. It's always a pleasure (less for the cats but you know...no one likes getting shots) and we would highly recommend this location and Dr. Gracia :)

I’m not sure how this VCA has any low ratings at all, but my wife Christine and I would give it 6-stars if we could! We have two dogs and have recently been here at least 6 times just in the past few months due to various checkups and emergencies. All of our visits have been nothing but pleasant and personable as every member of the staff, as well as the doctors, are courteous, thorough, and genuinely care about our furry family members! I would like to say thank you to Dr. Gracia, Dr. Thorndyke, Dr. Daugherty, and also to the wonderful staff, April, Brianne, Tori, and Julie for always taking care of Zeus and Howie. We drive 15 min farther than our previous vet just to see this office, as we feel so welcomed on every visit! We really appreciate their service and we highly recommend this VCA for your fur babies!

My 7 month Pit/Lab love coming to this hospital. Very friendly staff,knoweable and will give their undivided attention to your pet. If my dog loves them I recommend them.????????????????

I had just moved to the Atlanta area when I boarded my dog, Sadie, here. Of course I was nervous at first, but the staff was genuinely very kind and attentive to me and Sadie! When I picked her up after a few days, they sent us home with a cute goody bag with samples and a couple toys. I completely trust the staff here and can't thank Julie and Apryl enough for taking such good care of Sadie! We will definitely come back.

They don't answer the phone. If they do they don't come back.(was on hold for almost 15 minutes) Got a baby from the Atlanta Humaine Society and they suggested this place. Will not be back

This is a nice animal hospital. The lady doctors and nurses were so sweet to our Cocoa-Bailey. They remember his name when he comes in and the doctor called to check on him a few times when he was very sick. They are gentle and thoughtful. I don't care for the pet club very much because it's overpriced and its not all inclusive. It does not cover much beyond exams, a couple of fecal tests and some vaccinations. Nonetheless, from the receptionists to the doctors, the customer service is great and they really care about our fur baby :-)

We love her Vet and the staff our Mocha Jade loves to go to the vet there prices are very reasonable. 5 thumbs up to the staff keep doing what you do and we will continue to bring out baby.

Moved from Buckhead to Chamblee and this VCA was happy to accept my Blue for a nail trim and was able to call the other location to verify that his shots were up to date. Thanks for making my move easy! <3
